-Had to record this three times. The first two were a bit too serious so I decided to imagine them just doing it for soundcheck and I relaxed and liked the vibe better. :)

If James want to do a test for the microphone, he could sing the lyrics to the song which Daft Punk originally sampled (Release The Beast by Breakwater).
yes, actually it's Breakwater - Release the Beast. Since all about daft punk actually not making most of their content, many people got to learn about the original tracks.

@@capsuleboy yeah, this is more the exception than the rule, most Daft Punk songs do a lot of work with the given samples and they usually add something to it as well. Also that 4th album literally only has 2 samples on the whole record, one is just some organ chords the other is NASA mission recordings

I reckon Hetfield's "YEAH!" (or other variations of it such as "OOOOH, YEAH-HEAH!") has become so iconic that it's almost an integral element of the band's sound now 😂
