I heard repeatedly that this was supposed to be their actual intro to their follow up album after Fallen Empires, but fortunately, that didn't happen because they decided to go for an all new material that led to Wildness being made and like they truly decided to stat true to their original form of a band. Like originally, according to Gary Lightbody, the frontman for Snow Patrol, he said that the reason why Fallen Empires direction was to go to an all new electronic techno But that received mixed reviews by both Critics and fans like us!
I read on Gary's blog this is the prelude to the opening song on their next album (which had already been finished before Fallen Empires was released), hence the title.
@squall2933 beg to differ...U2 garbage....whatever...to each their own as they say...I have very varied tastes in music....have seen both bands...kudos to both ...U2 and their staying power and the future staying power of Snow Patrol.....do not ask me out by the way:)
