    Great video!! Very informative. Most videos on here don’t go in details about actual ways to study and u did that! Thank you. What about general science?

    • @AshleyRichelle444
      @AshleyRichelle444  6 лет назад

      Esther T for general science I pretty much made flash cards and just took the test in the book. For the ones I missed I studied over again to cram the info. It’s sort of hit or miss with science and vocabulary because you don’t really know which ones will actually be on the test.

    Love the shirt I test April 13 I'm currently using the Kaplan book and it's kind of a good book the ASVAB for dummies doesn't really help

    Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension are my lowest areas. Mathematics, I score well on, and Arithmetic Reasoning, I do O.K. on. For the WK, is it imperative that I know every word? I know it's absurd to ask, but I've memorized the prefixes, suffixes and roots and I feel that I'm not doing enough other than practicing questions. And the PC, I've gotten better at since the last time I took the ASVAB, but should I second guess if the passage cajoles me to? Some of these passage questions are tricky. But how easy is the WK and PC? For the WK, I don't know how to use process of elimination.

      Madison B. I heard for woe knowledge if two answers are closely related don’t pick them.

    • @AshleyRichelle444
      @AshleyRichelle444  4 года назад

      Hey girl I wouldn’t say know every word because you don’t know what will be on the test. I would say learn as much as you can and then make sure you know suffixes and prefixes to be able to break the meaning of a word down if you aren’t familiar with it

    Hey Ashley! I'm 27 years old and I have a 5 year old son. I want to enlist in the Air Force, but I was wondering what was/is some of the adversity you had to face as being a mother in the military?

    I've heard the actual ASVAB is easier than the practice tests. Is this true? And are there any important key words I should know? Any formulas?

    • @rickyortega6392
      @rickyortega6392 6 лет назад +1

      To be honest i took the practice test and it was a little bit to easy. I scored a 70 on the practice test, the practice test has easy equations. The book is way harder than the actual practice test.

    • @AshleyRichelle444
      @AshleyRichelle444  7 лет назад

      mizzofolife1 it took me a few months to study, that's because I had a lot of responsibilities to juggle while trying to study. But I'm positive these tips will help you! Good luck!

    I'm confused. I took the ASVAB today and my recruiter said that I did well in math and English but the reason why I didn't pass was because of general science and auto shop. I scored a 30. I'm going for the Navy

    • @AshleyRichelle444
      @AshleyRichelle444  7 лет назад +1

      Naara Perez general science and auto shop are both used for picking your job.. so I'm not sure why you would fail because of those two things. My recruiter literally told me not to even bother with studying those and to just focus on the main four that I mentioned in the video.. maybe you should look deeper into it and/or ask another recruiter!

    • @alinares1996
      @alinares1996 7 лет назад +3

      Naara Perez for the navy they want you to score a 50 now.. you can possibly get in with a 46-49.... but thats where the other sections like the ones you mention come in place ...you cant really join with 45 and below for the navy..im trying for the navy too
