PLEASE READ! Hello guys! I quickly want to address something. Unfortunatly in the pet community there tends to be a lot of criticizing smaller youtubers, and accusing them of copying larger yoututbers such as Taylor Nicole Dean and Tyler Rugge. before commenting anything along those lines, please just understand that we pet youtubers (myself included) are not trying to copy anyone. we are simply just fellow animal lovers who want to share our passion with the world! While some of you may think I'm similar to taylor due to my love for animals and my appearance, please just know that I am in no way copying her. I made this channel so I could be myself and share my passion with the world! as animal lovers we need to be more welcoming to fellow pet you tubers and stop trying to bring them down by comparing them to others!

I know how you feel I have seen so many small pet youtubers being accused and saying the just copy Taylor or they try copy appearance I feel like all you guys should feel welcome in the animal community and not feel attacked for apparently copying

I've been thinking of starting an animal channel too and I'm sure Taylors fans will come after me and accuse me of copying her as well. I love Taylor but she is not the only person who loves animals and has that style. I've actually been watching pet youtubers for a very long time before I found Taylor and actually the thing that made me love her and her channel was that she reminded me of myself and she has all my favorite reptiles that I plan on getting. The more animal youtubers the better imo, it's good to have multiple sources especially if you own less common pets

It's life, people do things other people do. I mean, come on. I LOVE to learn and see others pets. I barely know you, I live on the other side of the country and you have a pet, sweet, I want to see but I'm not coming to your house 😋. So you took the time to make a video and show me, THANK YOU!!! This goes for everyone thinking of making videos, DO IT, I'll appreciate it more than you can imagine.

Just remember that the majority of us like watching reptile/pet videos. You're not coping, you're just showing us your passion and pets. Do you have time to do other things? How much is your monthly expenses on your pets? Do you love with your parents and what are their thoughts for the number of pets you have? I’m really curious and interested
yeah I do! I work quite a bit and I still go out quite often! it costs quite a bit, depending on the month and how much I buy I could be spending anywhere between $200-$1000. and I do live with my mom! I don't live with my dad but he's still really supportive of my passion for animals as well. they don't mind them really! they know I take care of everything myself and pay for everything myself and they know that it's what I love to do so they're really supportive!

Caitlin P it's not really being nosey, some people are just curious as to how some people with lots of pets are able to provide and how much they spend. Some people also try to get an idea as to how expensive caring for different animals might be. Questions like these are always floating around in the pet community.

Hi! Love your videos! I have a tip-- Hedgehogs should not have any light emitting from their lamp. If you choose to use a heat lamp as your heating method, it should be a Ceramic Heat Emitter. They have extremely sensitive eyes, and because they are nocturnal, they do not come out if there is any sort of light. My hedgehog has a CHE and her cage stays at about 78 degrees which is ideal(anywhere btwn 72-80). I could be wrong, but i believe you have mentioned that your hedgehog is not social and a grumpy one. This is very normal, however hedgehogs should be handled at the very least, 15 minutes each day for bonding time. Whether it be in a bonding bag, on your lap, or floor time, it is imperative that your hedgie has some out of cage time with you. I generally do about an hour or more. Sometimes ill even just simply put her on my lap while watching tv or just bring her in a bonding bag while i clean around the house or so on. Hope this is helpful! Also when you upgrade your tanks and cages do you keep there old tanks or cages also ?
yeah I usually keep them all! this way I have spares in case something ever happens to one of my current tanks or if I get new pets then I already have an enclosure!

You might want a different substrate for your goldfish tank if you're going to plant it.
What is keeping an amazon tree boa like and how is his temperament? I think they're gorgeous animals but they get a lot of bad press that I'm not sure I believe. I'm curious because I would like to have one some day and it would be great to hear your experience.
R3ptoManiac I'm loving mine so much so far!! I'll try to do a video on then in the future! They're definitely not a pet you can handle often as they can be quite bitey but I think they're absolutely stunning!! I've actually handled mine a few times with no problems, you just have to know what to look for in order to avoid a bite
Even if they can't be handled too often I think they're still super fun to watch, they're gorgeous! I want more already
That's great to hear! I bet some of it's probably the baby factor because younger snakes are generally more fearful. I've handled a few baby green tree pythons that have been super gentle so I think most of the time if you respect the snake you won't get bitten. Thanks for replying so fast. I'd love to learn more about keeping them!

I have a blue tongue skink and in one of your skink's enclosures I saw that you had a reptile hammock for her. I am thinking about getting one for mine but i'm worried that he will get his claws stuck in the mesh. Is this a concern or should it be fine? It would be really helpful if you could get back to me :) love your channel btw

Does the heat mat do anything to the plastic that you’ve noticed? I was gonna use it for my hedgehog bin cage but didn’t know how it was gonna react to the plastic
no but I have all of mine hooked up to thermostats to prevent them from over heating

Hedgehogs shouldn't have heat mats. They aren't good for them like they are other animals. Hedgehogs should have a CHE (or a space heater if you choose).
Will your leopard gecko get an upgrade? And does she have a heat mat? I didn’t hear one mentioned hence why I am asking. I have one and I give her the best treatment possible, such as a lot of floor to explore and walk around. Like a 20 gallon long would be beautiful.
DinofulWonderful she has a heat mat connected to a thermostat. And a 20 gallon long and an 18x18 exo Terra have almost the same smoking of floorspace. She doesn't need an upgrade as an 18x18 is large enough but once I move out and have my own place, I'll be upgrading a lot of my animals enclosures to give them more space

Omg. This looks like my bedroom LOL At one point I had 32 reptiles in my room at once but had to downsize. Once I downsized I felt there were too many empty spaces and got mammals LOL I have Beardies, Leos, ferrets, guinea pigs, a hedgehog, a chinchilla, african yellow throated plated lizard, frilled dragon, east coast toad, crested geckos, russian tortoise, blue tongued skink annnd a ball python hah

thank you! and he gets a variety of pinky mice, crickets, hornworms and super worms! I'm not sure if they can have dubious or not, riches are illegal to keep where I live so I don't know much about them!
My Pacman eats everything. (Well, anything safe that i put in front of her) Dubias, hornworms, and nightcrawlers are by far the best feeders for pacmans. :)

make sure you have a good vet near you and can afford vet bills! unfortunately with some rescues you never know how bad their situation was and they may require lots of attention from the vet. rescuing pets can be a great thing! you just need to make sure you can properly care for each and every animal!

I'm just curious why you use fake plants and the plastic bins for some snakes and not others? When will some of them get enclosure upgrades? The one for your amazoninan looks so small compared to his size, is that just what they prefer?
all my snakes have fake plants! and I use tanks for some and tubs for others based on what they prefer! I only use tubs for my ball pythons because thats what they like best! ball pythons are really shy snakes and get stressed easily so they really like the extra security that tubs provide! glass tanks can make them feel very open and exposed which can stress them out! and my amazon tree boa is in a 36x18x18 exo terra which is the minimum size for one! so it is big enough for him! that being said though, I do want to get him a larger one just so he has some more space but I probably won't be able to for a while. I'll have to get one custom made since I need a front opening one which is pretty expensive! but he's still completely happy in this enclosure! they mostly just stay coiled up in the branches, they don't explore around too much! they prefer to just hang out where they feel safe!

This is my first video I've seen on your channel. Yes you do have some similar things with taylor. But I mean your awesome. Taylor is too. And of people think that smaller yoitubers are coping watching other then what are the bigger ones doing when some even say "ive seen so and so do this so yea.". The new rescue thats not named. What kind of substrate do you use for your hedgehog
it's a type of paper bedding!
How do you add humidity to a tank that has tin foil over the top? To add humidity to my tank I keep a damp towel over half of the top. For you, do you just mist the tank or keep the substrate damp?

They come from the Amazon rainforest where it rains a ton so misting often makes it more natural for them!

I hardly ever mist my ball pythons! but since I use tubs to house them, the tubs hold lots of humidity so I never really need to mist at all! if you keep them in a tank id recommend covering the top with tinfoil and then doing light mistings. when I "mist" my amazon tree boas enclosure I basically drench it to replicate a rainfall but for a BP I'd only give a slight misting :)

Dorito has a pimple on his frogbutt (the nub right before his tail starts) just letting you know I had a crested gecko and he had on and got my other gecko sick with pimples all over and I don’t want it happening to (yes I know they are your pets and I’m not your but just wanted to let you know)

gi gi I've never had any problems with it. None of my pets really pay attention to each other, they just mind their own business and all of my animals are in very secure enclosure so that none of them can escape or anything

Olivia Bennie yep these are a good size for a ball python! Add lots of fake plants and hides and such as well and it will help him feel more secure :)
