In my nano twist changed all types to 155/65/13. Ie 7.5% from the original 2 diff types front/back. had to change the height of the suspension by 1.5 in and use alloys of kwid 3 hole after which the stability and braking vastly improved.

Hello Ravi. Nice info Well I have recently upgraded my Ford Figo zxi Diesel tyre from 175/65/R14 to 175/70/R14 as the ground clearance was very bad and has now feels good. My odometer is not showing proper reading there is a marginal difference of 4 km less in say 100km. But the ride is good and is soft. I don't know about the mileage and other factors. So just want to know what are good points and bad points with the upsizing?
That was due to tyre you have used, which has more radius than the stock one. Means your gear box spins the wheels at the same level, which your speedometer was designed for, sine the change in diameter of the wheel, actually your car might have travelled the exact distance, but your speedo will defenitely show less kms.
I am also thinking of changing the tyre size of my I20 (2011)from 185/65 R14 to 185/70 R14 to increase ground clearance. Should I go for it or consider 175/70 R14

No, it doest not get affected. I recently upsized my i20 from 195/55/R16 to 205/55/R16 ... within 2% circumference limit. I gave up on bit of mileage but car stability and handling got better on highways ... which was essentially my requirement.

If you can source16" wheels of Ciaz, you can go for 195/55R16 size. this will be the correct option.But the ride and steering feel will be a bit hard, since the tyre is of wider size and the engine churns out only 75 BHP, when compared to Ciaz having 90BHP engine.
Also suggest planning to buy ertiga vxi cng but.... I want back defogger and wiper.... Which comes in... Zxi variant.... Can both be install aftermarket.....and up sizing in ertiga also suggest.....pls.....🙏
