i have purchase i20 sportz in sep 2023 and in nov die to one accident front right tyre plus rim has damaged and i claim it in insurance (car running 1800 km) and now both front tyres have excessive wear due to chimta bend in front right tyre. Now agency is not accepting their mistake that they have not detected chimta bend at that time . My fight is going on with agency but i believe they will not accept it so shall i go with purchasing new set of front tyres…if yes which tyres are best city plus highway and long road trip once in 2-3 months

Nonetheless, new tyres will also wear off so if you still want to change then what's the budget you're looking at? Low mid or good? Or save some money,get rear tyres at front and install low budget tyres at back. First let me know about your plan
@@DriveShrive the issue have resolved and i have installed the new chimta from agency only and already switched position of front and rear tyres The alignment is also done. Both wear/damage tyres are at rear side only…now a known person who has ture shop suggesting me to install 2nd hand tyres at rear side as wear is less (as they move only in straight direction) . So, i am confused that shall i go with 2nd hand tyres or purchase new set of tyres which cost somewhere between 13-17k . Also suggest that are installing alloy wheels is ok or not
Alloys are ok as long as they are of stock size and width, more so if genuine alloys. As for the tyres, you will anyway need to rotate the tyres every 10k kms so go ahead with 2 new tyres! Preferably the same ones which come as stock. Don't forget to check manufacturing date and take the latest pieces

Hello, You do not mentioned about Vredestein tyres. Actually it is very good in soft compound And main thing is you will get 88V Speed rating in 185/65R15. This is the only tyre which gives V rating im this small size.
Hi, i know they are great and some of my known are using them, they are backed by Apollo but as Indian conditions are different. The heat and potholes we have, some manufacturers which are here from decades cant make tyres which are free from cuts and bulges. I havent found many long term reviews of this brand thats why havent included them. I cant take name of a brand which is new to our harsh conditions. Will make an updated video after an year with new tyres and include them as well. Hope you understand

Turanza are actually good tyres so even installing Michelin Primacy 4, the most silent tyres, it will not become silent but good enough. Sound insulation has always been the weak pt. Of Honda cars, I've mentioned in many of my videos. 🙂 One hack you can do is install floor lamination, that'll further reduce road noise to a good extent

I've driven cars which have earth 1 and you may love your cars tyre but Sturdo is better in all areas especially comfort and noise. You should try that. Also I have suggested some people earth 1 who drive on hilly broken patches and not over 50-60kmhr so that's good for these certain purposes
Using 17 inch YoKohama earth 1 for creta 2020.. 60k run done. Going to replace. Pls suggest allrounder mostly city, sometime highway say once in month.. offroad occasionally.. pls suggest best.. no budget issue.. 🙏🏾

Continental CC6 comes in 155s, you can go ahead with it no issues. But if you want more life out of your tyres, then opt Bridgestone Sturdo! (If CC6 runs for 50k km then Sturdos life would be 60k km in same driving conditions)

Hi bro I really liked your video on the topic of tyres. Currently I am using Yokohama earth 1 on my creta 205/65/R16 they have done almost 50k kms and they are almost worn out. I was considering upgrading to better tyres. My options are as follows: 1. Michelin primacy 4 @ 9300rs 2. Yokohama bluearth rv02 @7350rs 3. Bridgestone B390 @ 7250rs 4. Continental UC6 @ 7200rs Our usage is a mix of both city and highways, mostly good roads no off road. Around 10k kms yearly, the car is almost 7 yrs old done 83k kms, I wanted to improve the ride quality of the car and make it still enjoyable so I was considering a premium tyre. What's your suggestion is it worth spending on Michelin over conti and others? Thanks.
UC6 is almost 85% of Primacy 4 so opt for primacy if you want the absolute best and it has a longer life as well (if maintained well) Price wise, UC6 is more value for money

I disagree with your views. Firstly, your suggestion to buy Ceat, Apollo, MRF. These companies have hard tyres, which are not comfortable while riding. The warranty given by them is only on paper - try claiming the warranty!
You can disagree all you want but not only Ceat,Apollo, all brands produce hard as well as soft tyres. Which is the theme of this video. You have to select on the basis of your needs and budget.

My concern are I have 2nd gen swift(noise insulation is bad), the tyre I have MRF zlx and running is around 50k but the tyres are too much noisy at high-speed and concrete pavement,treads are still available little bit.
So which is the best tyre(165/80/R14) for low level tyre noise and comfort..🙏🙏
Best is Michelin XM2+, you can opt for UC6 as well. Also get the floor damping done for noise insulation

i have purchase i20 sportz in sep 2023 and in nov die to one accident front right tyre plus rim has damaged and i claim it in insurance (car running 1800 km) and now both front tyres have excessive wear due to chimta bend in front right tyre. Now agency is not accepting their mistake that they have not detected chimta bend at that time . My fight is going on with agency but i believe they will not accept it so shall i go with purchasing new set of front tyres…if yes which tyres are best city plus highway and long road trip once in 2-3 months
@@rahulrai4333 omg, you have a major issue which should ideally be solved before changing the tyres. Nonetheless, new tyres will also wear off so if you still want to change then what's the budget you're looking at? Low mid or good? Or save some money,get rear tyres at front and install low budget tyres at back. First let me know about your plan
@@DriveShrive the issue have resolved and i have installed the new chimta from agency only and already switched position of front and rear tyres The alignment is also done. Both wear/damage tyres are at rear side only…now a known person who has ture shop suggesting me to install 2nd hand tyres at rear side as wear is less (as they move only in straight direction) .
So, i am confused that shall i go with 2nd hand tyres or purchase new set of tyres which cost somewhere between 13-17k . Also suggest that are installing alloy wheels is ok or not
Alloys are ok as long as they are of stock size and width, more so if genuine alloys. As for the tyres, you will anyway need to rotate the tyres every 10k kms so go ahead with 2 new tyres! Preferably the same ones which come as stock. Don't forget to check manufacturing date and take the latest pieces

And main thing is you will get 88V Speed rating in 185/65R15.
This is the only tyre which gives V rating im this small size.
Hi, i know they are great and some of my known are using them, they are backed by Apollo but as Indian conditions are different. The heat and potholes we have, some manufacturers which are here from decades cant make tyres which are free from cuts and bulges. I havent found many long term reviews of this brand thats why havent included them. I cant take name of a brand which is new to our harsh conditions. Will make an updated video after an year with new tyres and include them as well. Hope you understand

Turanza are actually good tyres so even installing Michelin Primacy 4, the most silent tyres, it will not become silent but good enough. Sound insulation has always been the weak pt. Of Honda cars, I've mentioned in many of my videos. 🙂
One hack you can do is install floor lamination, that'll further reduce road noise to a good extent

I've driven cars which have earth 1 and you may love your cars tyre but Sturdo is better in all areas especially comfort and noise. You should try that.
Also I have suggested some people earth 1 who drive on hilly broken patches and not over 50-60kmhr so that's good for these certain purposes

for Honda Amaze recommended tyre size is 175/65 R14, is it fine if i can upgrade it with 185/65 R14 ? From my point of view 185/65 R14 will give little more grip, might reduce suspension issues because of more stability however it will reduce little average but if there are more benefits in upgrading the little size then is it fine ? They are about the same as XM2 in softness, splitting hairs between these. XM2 develops cracks overtime sooner than CC6 and blueearth

I really wanted Conti UC6, but company has stopped the production only for 195/60/R15. I checked with 4 dealers everyone said the same.
I switched to yoko earth1 from Bridgestone B290(195/60R15) "sturdo is noisier than earth1"
So how's your experience with earth 1 so far? Do you drive on bad roads?

Continental CC6 comes in 155s, you can go ahead with it no issues. But if you want more life out of your tyres, then opt Bridgestone Sturdo! (If CC6 runs for 50k km then Sturdos life would be 60k km in same driving conditions)

The tyre on my car when I purchased from old owner was manufacturered in same year (2013) that is Bridgestone S 248 and vehicle, 12:30 completed 45k km and still 70% tyre threads shows on it. In affordable tyres, you can't expect very less noise but for your purpose, i would recommend Apollo 4g life

Currently I am using Yokohama earth 1 on my creta 205/65/R16 they have done almost 50k kms and they are almost worn out.
I was considering upgrading to better tyres.
My options are as follows:
1. Michelin primacy 4 @ 9300rs
2. Yokohama bluearth rv02 @7350rs
3. Bridgestone B390 @ 7250rs
4. Continental UC6 @ 7200rs
Our usage is a mix of both city and highways, mostly good roads no off road. Around 10k kms yearly, the car is almost 7 yrs old done 83k kms, I wanted to improve the ride quality of the car and make it still enjoyable so I was considering a premium tyre. What's your suggestion is it worth spending on Michelin over conti and others?

UC6 is almost 85% of Primacy 4 so opt for primacy if you want the absolute best and it has a longer life as well (if maintained well)

I disagree with your views. Firstly, your suggestion to buy Ceat, Apollo, MRF. These companies have hard tyres, which are not comfortable while riding. The warranty given by them is only on paper - try claiming the warranty!
You can disagree all you want but not only Ceat,Apollo, all brands produce hard as well as soft tyres. Which is the theme of this video. You have to select on the basis of your needs and budget.

4g life doesn't have the grip to match Alnac, Wanderer is better overall.

They will fit, car will become slightly heavier to drive with increased ground clearance.
