Over time with driving I have realised, that Car is there only to take you from one place to another, not for racing and stunts on roads. Secondly, maintain speed limit, when speed is in your control you can avoid most mishaps, once you are cruising at excess speed, even if you want you can't control when time comes. Be safe, don't race and please don't be that idiot who overtakes from the left, give signals when changing lanes specially in Highways.

While I was taking left turn, another car came from behind in full speed, It tried to overtake from left side of my car and finally crashed into my car, making big dents on fender and bumper. So lesson for me is to keep car in extreme left lane while taking left turn.

Those days are long gone. Overtaking from the right was the norm in the 90s by honking and asking the vehicle ahead to clear the right lane but these days it's all about lane driving and what I see pretty much all the time is one overtakes from the right or from the left, whatever is suitable and they expect you to remain in your lane while the overtaking is done.

Apne kaha ki left se overtake nahi karna chaiye....ekdam sahi baat....but uske liye trucks ko ya heavy vehicles ko extreme left lane mai hona chahiye.....agar trucks right lane mai chal rahe hai.....to left se hi overtake karna padega na

Not only some new drivers also some older one do a mistake very often i.e. they dont put on their sit belt during starting the car. when they come to main road or see a traffic surgeon then they realize their mistake and try to lock their seat belt in a hurry. It can lock ur belt and often your concentration break during driving. This can cause serious accident.
I can only hope when I start driving, the clutch would still be intact after I master it. Hopefully that day is coming soon when I learn How 2 Drive (I will own a manual, but not an auto box, I will drive it occasionally but I'd never own one)

Could you please give tips for Valley driving where ups and downs are approximately 60 to 75 degree. I was stuck in these roads and my car was heated.
1. *Gear slamming* Some drivers use the shift lever harshly. They shift the gear with too much force which eventually damages the shift lever over time. 2. *Not cleaning windshields* Not just new drivers, but I've noticed other drivers who drive their car with dirty windshields. It's very important to wipe the windshield before leaving your house or workplace. 3. *Late Shifting* Revving the engine way too much before shifting into the next gear puts strain on the engine. On normal, city roads, I shift into next gear at _3000 - 3500 RPM._ As the host said, revving higher at hilly areas becomes necessary, and it's a different scenario.

Not only some new drivers also some older one do a mistake very often i.e. they dont put on their sit belt during starting the car. when they come to main road or see a traffic surgeon then they realize their mistake and try to lock their seat belt in a hurry. It can lock ur belt and often your concentration break during driving. This can cause serious accident.
True bro and the worse part is they overtake during turns and shout at people who are driving safely in the correct lane while turning

1. *Gear slamming*
Some drivers use the shift lever harshly. They shift the gear with too much force which eventually damages the shift lever over time.
2. *Not cleaning windshields*
Not just new drivers, but I've noticed other drivers who drive their car with dirty windshields. It's very important to wipe the windshield before leaving your house or workplace.
3. *Late Shifting*
Revving the engine way too much before shifting into the next gear puts strain on the engine. On normal, city roads, I shift into next gear at _3000 - 3500 RPM._ As the host said, revving higher at hilly areas becomes necessary, and it's a different scenario.
sir, highway pe agar mano ki hamari gadi 90-100 ki apeed pe hai aur achanak koi bich me aa jata hai aur turant cross karke chala bhi jata hai lekin us time hame ek dam ek second ke liye break lagani padati hai.....to us time break kese control kare matalab sirf "break lagaye" ki "pehale clutch dabake break dabani chahiye ????"
aur akeli break dabane aur clutch dabake break dabane me kya fark he.....vo bhi khas karake high speed pe.....
