I have studied for 6 solid months how democracies are lost after Trump won in 2016. The first thing to go is the law; the supreme courts ruling on presidential immunity is just the beginning.
The Supreme Court is no longer. The rubbish they’re putting out isn’t placating anyone. One of the dissents said, “I fear we’re losing our democracy. Paraphrased. "We were warned by the Heritage RumpPac that *this “is the second Revolution or America. It will be bloodless- as long as our adversaries don’t try to stop us. That’s paraphrased, but it’s a horror story. Biden’s extraordinary term freaked them all out.

We are one of the last colonies left in the World. Puerto Rico celebrartes the 4th of July, when the US was liberated, but keeps us captive. We really don't want Trump to come back here to throw paper towels at us in a time of need, like a storm, when we lost over 3,000 people and most of us had no electricity in over nine months. I’m 68 and I have never, not once, ever voted in any manner of election of any kind. This fact represents just how Little respect I have for our American politics and the people who play at it. In my view, professional liars, all who make promises to get elected and then feel no compulsion to do the things they promised they would do. Accurate or not this has been my posture throughout my entire life. I will be voting for the first time in my life to crush the head of the snake that is Donald Trump. That said I am now in the process of launching a podcast directed towards people like myself. And I will tell you that people like myself when you ask them about going to vote they lie to you about it; people lie about voting because they just don’t wanna be involved in the drama- I mean to reach those people that either just don’t care enough or even if they care about the condition of our country, don’t trust politicians enough to vote and they don’t want to get any crap about it from the folks there at church so they lie about voting. I mean to encourage people who would not go to the polls to vote to the head of the snake that is Donald Trump Through the convenience that is mailing voting.
👏👏👏👏 I'm 63 and never voted until 2020. Even though I live in a very red state too, I was bound and determined to vote Trump out despite knowing Biden didn't have a chance to win this state. I would love to be able to vote blue down the line, but unfortunately there's only one or two on the ballot.

I am a gay man in my 30s living at home with my mom in Texas and currently going through cancer therapy. I am also pagan and respect all faiths, you have every right to believe in anything. But this absolutely scares me. I have not been this scared in a long time. I am scared for my rights to exist, my rights to love who I want to love, and believe in what I want to believe. I am scared for my friends and my family. I wish there were more options at the polls, but I can't let us fall back 100 years of development.
I am a gay man living in British Columbia, Canada. The Humanist Society of British Columbia just managed to legally force ALL munipicalities to stop reciting prayers at public meetings and are currently mounting a campaign to end tax exemptions for religious institutions. Joining and volunteering for such a group might help, although you have enough to deal with already.
