He didn't try very hard either...and she could've taken the DNA test....stop blaming your mom you and your husband made choices....he gave up his rights
As much as I think this is fake, the amount of grown ass adults with zero communication skills that could potentially allow a situation like this to happen is staggering.
As fake as you think this is and sorry to burst your bubbles but this kind of situation do happen . Something similar happened to someone in my family ; the mother thought the husband wasn’t wealthy enough to support her daughter and her so she started this whole scheme with an old friend of her daughter to separate them … so yeah pretty similar minus the money given and the baby but overall a narcissistic parent who had no remorse divorcing her happily married daughter for her own benefit
"I need money, and I don't want to ask my Daughter. Looks like I'm going to ruin her marriage so I can get money from a loser who she never had any interest in." Mother of the year on this one. Get paid in advance and let the moron act like he got what he wanted. Daughter never liked him anyway.
If this is actually real, my non-existent faith in humanity is going into the deep negatives that I thought were impossible. How can a person do such thing to his/her child???? Motherly instinct my a-s-s.
My mother can be the same way. Does something only for her own interest or peace of mind, damning the consequences. And when you confront her? It's all on you for not taking it well. Some people just can't accept that their reasons are not an excuse, or even good half the time.
There's news about a daughter suing her mother, turn out the mother was pimping her to a lot of men. Also don't forget women who did late stage abortions without remorse.
@@HeoBaby24most people must stop look at the paternity test like lose of trust because making a man to live a life in fake family that dosent involve his blood is even worse you not only lose trust the partner but also your young years people like you are very hypocritical if he really had nothing to hide why she didnt take the paternity test?
Looking at Ex's perspective: Your MIL initiated that her child (your wife) is cheating on you, you have doubts since it's your MIL's words, but some moments happened between wife and another man and your doubt deepened. After that you ask your wife for a solid proof such as paternity test, which if positive, can be a slap in your own face and clear up your doubts, but your wife aggressively refused, then she started the divorce soon after. OP cannot blame Ex, he was lied to by OP's mother, asked his partner for a scientific proof and it resolved into an argument and divorce in a short period of time, even tried to reconcile and be there for the child again once his doubts cleared up
@panshul5633 And rightfully so. He never revealed the source of his doubts. There was zero reason for him not to tell her that he got that info from her mother. If he did, the root of the problem could have been addressed right there and then.
He never once mentioned his conversation with MIL to his wife. Had he done so,they could have all sat down and ashed everything out and it wouldn't have came to this. He also signed his rights away during the divorce, why didn't request Paternity test during the proceedings? The judge would have given it to him,but instead he simply signed his rights away. She is not at fault at all. Someone hits on you and you tell your husband instantly and then kick that person out, only for your husband to start staying late and not coming home. Then he starts picking a fight with you and accuse you of cheating and Paternity fraud.
Lied to or not, from OP's perspective he just started thinking his wife had an affair. She tells him Dan is crossing lines and she wants him out, and then MIL says her own daughter was sleeping with the guy. Ex decided not to be civil and talk it out. Instead he stews and makes accusations with only word of mouth. The Ex is not innocent. He basically takes everything as evidence that his wife was unfaithful without ever having an actual conversation. He doesn't even say the source of his information.
@@ianmoritzplatapino3684how can you evenly distribute blame all she had to do was take a paternity test but she’s too entitled to even do that…. the man was told his wife is cheating by her own mother that would create doubts for anyone but she ended a loving marriage because she couldn’t take one test and prove him wrong…. Enjoy being a single mom
Yeah, but I understand her point of view. Hormonal imbalances + the fact she didn’t cheat, it’s understandable to be livid when someone basically tells you they have no trust in you. Of course logically speaking if you’re faithful there’s no need to worry about such a test, but specifically asking for one would probably feel really terrible when the person on the receiving end was actually faithful. I agree about them being mandatory however, would save all this trouble and help ensure no father raises another man’s child
While I feel bad for OP in the context of what her mother did, it in no way, shape, or form justifies divorcing your husband over him asking for a paternity test. Her refusal to get one fueled his doubt, whereas if she'd tried to sort things out without immediately jumping to divorce, it's likely her mother's schemes would've been exposed far sooner, and her son wouldn't have had to grow up fatherless. Of course, given her track record here it's kinda obvious she would've found some other disagreement to be worth the divorce further down the line and canned it then.
Had he had a fucking spine he would have spoke about what the mom said or ask for a paternity test in court when he signed his rights away, he shut down and it cost them their marriage
He asked out of the blue a week after he threw a drunk out of a party, and decided not to have a conversation or tell his wife what her own mother was saying. As far as OP knew, her Husband thought she cheated because some drunken moron said he love her.

They didn’t just divorced he disowned his son without fact checking. You might have not been in a situation « like this » but people close to you, even you parent, will actively try to ruin your life by lying, so you have to beware of everyone and clear a situation before acting off of emotions; and this applies to both parties because she could have calmed down and try to push him more.

@@HeoBaby24 its not about "should" at that point. imo paternity test should be mandatory either way. it prevents arguments, bad choices, life defining changes, doubt, etc. If the only reason why you shouldnt is because of her principle of "trust" then im sorry but thats not moving me.
@@vanilelle That's the issue. Many fathers get trapped into raising kids that are not theirs because they trusted their partner too much. These snakes have talent on hiding stuff. From what she wrote in the story, he also didn’t ask for a court mandated paternity test, nor did he ask one when he crawled back. If it really was such a big deal for him, don’t you think he would have actually made some attempt at proving the child was his?
People in the comments section really think just blindly accepting a request for paternity testing will protect relationship health lol. All it’s for is knowing whether or not a guy is the father. That’s it. But if one is requested based on little to no actual evidence of cheating, then it’s gonna bomb the relationship. Y’all need to grow up.

There are many ways to get money that don’t involve hurting your own child and ruining their happiness. I’m a mum and would never do that to my daughter no matter how much I’m struggling, I’d rather struggle and see my daughter happy
While I agree that the mother's manipulations played a substantial factor in the marriage falling apart, OP is a moron for ending it with such frivolity. How can you work towards happiness with someone who doesn’t trust you? Yeah it’s all OPs fault 🙄. Not the husband who broke his vows and didn’t communicate what was going on. Smh

Betrayal is possibly one of the most powerful, consuming emotional vices someone can find themselves in. People can be irrational and single-minded even with their thoughts clouded with static. This was not a moment where he was in control (not in a "controlling" way but regarding feeling secure). There are still consequences for things said and done in that state, but I wouldn't fault someone who is not fully there. He didn't break any vows since trying to confirm a spouse's fidelity is exactly what a genuine person who loves and cherishes their spouse would do, because in that snapshot moment before OP made ANY sort of decision, this marriage was still on (even if his mind was clouded). OP's decision to have immediately ended the marriage (at least according to this post since we are only getting snapshots) at the first sign of "..., or worse, ..." was a shit decision. The mother infected OP's marriage with a "sickness" which took form in OP's husband's growing insecurities and trust issues and OP choosing to leave him is ultimately why the marriage ended. She didn't love or cherish him enough to even attempt to bandage his wounds because the act of verifying fidelity was an attack on her honor. What security women have when a married man cheats and impregnate another woman and hides it?! Paternity test should be mandatory by the court, not men just suddenly ask for it, thats not trusting your partner.
You reminded me of a few cases where the woman wasn't sure: in one case being that a negative paternity test resulted in discovering the child was switched at birth.... first and last thing you need to understand about women, is that they consider themselves 100% justified in just going with their emotions like the story here, there was never the slightest attempt to see things from his point of view, to calm down and breathe, to investigate why he'd be asking, to consider why he'd want that there was only her feeling insulted

I feel like everyone's forgetting that the husband didn't tell OP why he wanted a paternity test. It's one thing if you know he wants a test because several people have told him you had an affair. It's another if he just asks for a paternity test with seemingly no reason. And that's what he did. To some people, the whole "A person will only ask/acuse something if they would/are doing it" thing is real. So in that case, maybe the husband was up to something (from the POV of the wife). I do think she should have done the paternity test. But obviously, since she was hurt (valid, from your POV your husband doesn't trust you), they probably should have done couples therapy. Honestly, everyone was at least a little to blame.

Are you fine if your wife comes to you and asks you if you cheated as your female friend's child looks like you? What security women have when a married man cheats and impregnate another woman and hides it?! Third, her EX didn’t abandoned her, she basically admitted the child wasn’t his and SHE left!!!
Forth, to the Ex, FDB, she is crazy her mother!!! Link up with your son when he turns 18! Keep all this for him to see.
Justification? He asked for a paternity test after throwing out a drunk guy that hit on his wife. He never even said he spoke to her mother. Just spent a week avoiding her and asked for the test because "Well he said some suspicious things". The dolt was drunk, people tend to say things when they're drunk.
And of course a Lawyer would say that. To any Lawyer denial is an admission of guilt. "If they were innocent they would do it no problem". It's just a courtroom tactic.
@@Olimar92 he needs no justification to get a paternity test, he doesn’t need her approval at all. He asked for it to see her reaction, to see if what her mother said was true!!!

Does not matter that it was her mother, the situation from the other side makes him look insecure in the worst possible way. As far as his wife knew, this was all because an old friend said I love you while drunk. Which is insulting to say the least, and after she had given birth to her son.
If my MIL said that kind of shit, I'd make sure my wife knew what her mother was saying. I also wouldn't be convinced anything happened if all a drunk guy said was I love you. If someone doesn't stop the bad behavior, wont admit that its bad, insists that you are the bad one...then how do you stop being mad?
your mom's a certified hustler 😂😂😂
Your mother manipulates your husband by telling him you're lying about an affair. Your husband believes your mother because...it's your mother. You find out your mother lied to your husband and you go NC on your mother because of the damage she created. You now make your husband--who was lied to by the person _you_ trusted the most--jump through every hoop imaginable to have a life with _HIS_ son, because he believed your mother, the person you trusted the most. If your mother didn't lie to your husband, none of this would have happened and you, your husband, and your son would be living happily ever after. Chris Rock was right; only women, children, and dogs are loved unconditionally, especially by women.
Coop aren't and visitation rights aren't going too far it's appropriate your husband is a victim
The dude asked for a paternity test to clear his doubts and you divorced him? You basically asked to be a single mother instead of a good partner. Your son deserves so much better
He asked for a dna test and expected to still be married?
Why didn't asked for a paternity during court? He's the one who signed away his rights not op
Is op supposed to just accept that her husband believes that she is a cheater? When there no proof of it?
He chose to miss out of 6 year's of his sons life Bec of what someone said but not a lick of evidence
@@HeoBaby24that “someone” was his wife’s mother… someone that’s know his wife the longest out of anyone… not just random “someone” context matters 😂
@@bomon6654 still someone. He just believes her without any proof
It could be my FUCKIN son and I wouldn't outright believe them without some sort of proof. Not her word against his
Still on his idiot ass
@HeoBaby24 her refusing to have one is like an admission of guilt...and using the same logic, if she wanted her child to have a dad why didn't she push for one during the court case...maybe she just didn't want her baby to have a dad
@@kingofgames2992why didn’t HE push for one during the court case?? the way y’all expect women to be okay with being accused of cheating and act like nothing happend? be so for real?
The comments are funny. She should’ve done this she should’ve done that. She didn’t do a test because she was accused of cheating by the one she loved. Literally her other half. He could’ve asked for a test during court. But he didn’t. He immediately signed his rights away. So don’t say she kept him away from his son. She didn’t. Now. From his POV it was fcked up yes we know, but so was it from her POV. he was manipulated and it ruined their marriage. But it still doesn’t change the fact that OP Is in the right to NOT continue the relationship. Once trust is broken, it can’t be repaired. Let’s be for real, y’all trashing OP as the villain when she has every right to feel the way she did just like the husband did. and I’m sick of people acting like they would’ve reacted differently if they were in EITHER shoes.
Please shut up
@@alesosoutonope.
she refuses to take responsibility for any of her own shortcomings, and when she did it was in entirely the wrong direction
The amount of people acting like they would be ok with their partner basically ignoring them for a week, and then immediately accusing them of cheating is fucken laughable.
Not gonna be ok but its worth a conversation about how they got to that point and not worth abandoning your spouse tbh. Its a rough patch that she walked away from. And because of that, the child was fatherless
Oh boy, everyone in this story (minus the kid) is sucky.
How is the husband sucky?
Do (it for) DAAAN
This woman is an atah for a couple of reasons
OP really should've taken accountability with her marriage ending. Look, i get it. He doubted her but like if he wanted a paternity test then he should be able to get one. I hope i make sense.
Not just that but she robbed her child from a dad. If she was that offended by him not trusting her and wanting to leave him, whatever, but she actively refused the test when it could of proven he was the dad in turn keeping a father figure in her sons life
@@kingofgames2992you don’t get to accuse your wife of cheating and think she’ll bow down to you 💀 he could’ve asked during court where it’d have been way easier but he signed his rights away without looking back. Don’t blame just her when he’s one to blame too.
@vanilelle I see both sides, and ultimately, I'm on OP's side, but there were some things she could've done differently as well which was just let him have the paternity test at least in court to get child support and stuff but ultimately, he gave up his parental rights but I get it. OP gave him every reason to believe the child wasn't his.
@@vanilelle since he didn't want his parental rights, what I would've done was give the positive test to him after he signed his rights away. Because then he could realize he fucked up.
I also don't like how OP is not taking responsibility for her marriage. Husband had a serious concern and her feelings prevented her from deescalation and hearing him out.
Not even thinking about starting things over with the actual dad in my opinion is a boneheaded move. In my opinion it just shows that your mother has trained you well to believe lies instead of separating lies from truth.
So your husband gets upset and bothered by the idea that you and an old friend of yours could've been a thing and then YOU decided to start a fight with him about it
Ya no wonder he wanted a perversity test
Husband was right to ask for a paternty test
and she right to leave him
