The team has shown over and over again this season, that 1) they can trounce mediocre/poor teams, but 2) they cannot defeat any team ranked higher. In the NCAA tournament, the bench gets shorter, which could actually help, and if they go on a hot shooting streak, who knows?
Uconn needs more players get involved, as Gino said. Just from the score, we can tell, UCONN team could not score more than 20 points per quarter, against a team like Providence.
Good for Paige. She's a terrific player who should leave Geno & UCONN for the WNBA right after UCONN's WBB bombs out of the NCAA tournament. She should get the money for herself & her family before some trash player breaks her body again and before Geno tries to pressure her into being Diana Terrasi. Right now, she can negotiate with a good franchise because she isn't broken mentally or physically. She can bargain for money & a playing style that suits her personality better than the UCONN Terassi Cult. Caroline Ducharme should also go pro once she stops seeing two baskets instead of one.
