If you think 1000 chapter is too much just read it slowly and take your time.
I was really worried that Luffy was going to disappear during Zoro's speech. That would've been really out of character for him. I'm glad he listened to him.
I was looking for an inspirational series, and honestly I wasn’t expecting to absolutely adore a series so quickly. Anime was after my time, but I’m loving this live action adaptation. These people worked insanely hard and did a very good job. Hats off! ❤

I didn't know about Mackenyu before One Piece and even before I watched the trailer,but honestly, when I first saw the trailer and his face/scene was shown, I remember I said, ooops! Wait, that guy is pretty handsome...He seemed already very attractive and charismatic to me even before I knew the hype about him.
I just finished the live action! I wish it had more episodes, because I absolutely loved it! It was sooooo good! I’ve never seen the anime, but I’m absolutely going to go and watch the anime now!

Comparing the live action and the anime would be a dumb thing to do since they are both their own separate thing but I recommend the live action series it’s actually pretty good a good 8/10
1 of the best, if not the best, live action adaptations of an Anime out there. And honestly with the bar being set this high now, and despite me being a bigger fan of Anime's like Pokemon and Naruto, I don't want them to turn Pokemon and Naruto live action. Let 1 Piece have this moment. Because the odds of other Anime being ruined by this live action series, are greater than the chances of them succeeding. The same level of commitment would be needed, and I think 1 piece is doing it beautifully... right down to Nami's breakdown scene!

Both of them are amazing in their own way. However the depth of writings in live action is just different. I never really enjoyed One Piece anime in my childhood even though it’s literally aired everyday everywhere in Taiwan. I thought that the plots and the characters were too boring and overly exaggerated. It’s basically "Luffy eventually got whatever he wanted, like a spoiled child" in most of the arcs. But somehow I really like how they develop the characters in the live action.

Not perfect but this show has a lot of heart and effort put into it. Season 2 is clear but I really hope the series will reach the highlights like Enies Lobby and maybe even Sabaody. But I don't think that the series will tell the whole one piece. Now everything is still pretty vanilla, no Logia fruit and Zoan fruit users but already in season 2 the show needs to put the effort in those aspects of one piece.
I love how this fits Luffy's character..... but let's not forget that in the manga, Luffy 100% blackmailed Zoro..... Though knowing Luffy's character, he was probably joking...
