This is why Luffy is such an awesome character, he knows how to bring the best out of people, to embrace their dreams. He always does the right thing no matter the consequences, like freeing Zoro, knowing he's a not gonna join his crew and freeing him won't make him join, but he does it anyway because it's the right thing.

He doesn't do it because it's the right thing. He does it because there is something out there that Zoro wants, and Luffy want everyone to achieve their dreams.
@@lucario-knightz2098not really, most shonen characters are clueless in the beginning. Luffy is very different in both demeanor and world views although he does fall into some shonen tropes for sure but it's well executed and enjoyable.
Zoro's one liners made me laugh so hard throughout the show, he's a closeted comedic genius

I was always too overwhelmed to read the manga or watch the 1000+ episodes of anime. So I am so happy this show is actually good so I can experience it in a fresh way.
I had the same thought as you back then,but then I decide to read the manga.And I still remember thinking why I didn't read this masterpiece sooner and that 900+ is not enough and I need more😂
I'd recommend you to read the manga,you'll never regret it.
If you think 1000 chapter is too much just read it slowly and take your time.

To be honest I started reading manga like 4 days ago and i am already on 115 chapter.
I like the scene here. The way he speaks to Zoro is kinda funny, at the same time there's a meaning.

I was really worried that Luffy was going to disappear during Zoro's speech. That would've been really out of character for him. I'm glad he listened to him.

That’s honestly a legit good response. If there wasn’t more to him than pirate hunting, that would be a good way to get his cooperation.
I was looking for an inspirational series, and honestly I wasn’t expecting to absolutely adore a series so quickly. Anime was after my time, but I’m loving this live action adaptation. These people worked insanely hard and did a very good job. Hats off! ❤

Zoro seems much more committed to bounty hunting in this than the anime. I got the impression that he only really did it out of necessity when he needed money.
Such a good casting, they're both excellent for those roles. Like many I just needed an excuse to get into this story but I was to overwhelmed by how many episodes the anime has, but now I want to know what happens next and I can't wait for the next season

I didn't know about Mackenyu before One Piece and even before I watched the trailer,but honestly, when I first saw the trailer and his face/scene was shown, I remember I said, ooops! Wait, that guy is pretty handsome...He seemed already very attractive and charismatic to me even before I knew the hype about him.

1 of the best, if not the best, live action adaptations of an Anime out there. And honestly with the bar being set this high now, and despite me being a bigger fan of Anime's like Pokemon and Naruto, I don't want them to turn Pokemon and Naruto live action. Let 1 Piece have this moment. Because the odds of other Anime being ruined by this live action series, are greater than the chances of them succeeding. The same level of commitment would be needed, and I think 1 piece is doing it beautifully... right down to Nami's breakdown scene!

Comparing the live action and the anime would be a dumb thing to do since they are both their own separate thing but I recommend the live action series it’s actually pretty good a good 8/10

He was lost when he was gonna find the mansion
That gag didn't take off until the Grand Line

It's cool to watch this scene, and then switch to the scene where Zoro swears his loyalty as first mate. I don't know how far they plan to take this adaption of the series, compared to its anime counter part, but I hope it reaches giving Zoro a bounty, I'd love to see a bounty picture of Mackenyu.

I only started watching One Piece live because of the hype I've seen on social media about the actor playing Zoro. I just saw some anime clips of Zoro and I noticed he got only one eye open. Does that mean we're gonna expect a one eye-Zoro in live? It's sad, that's like minus one beautiful view. Haha

i kept getting ads for this in facebook. i didnt care then it got to be annoying. then i saw the clip of where luffy unties that k pop idol and i became interested. i liked luffys energy. then i saw when he scared the crap out of that kid after coming out of the barrel below the ship. that guy who plays luffy is just so charismatic. i may have to watch it after all.
