    I live in silkstone and think its a pretty good area , its flood free , close to booval train station , booval fair , 4km from the ipswich cbd , plenty of busses available , 37minute drive to brisbane cbd , 1hr 20m to the gold coast , i have a 3 bedroom on 850sqm block , proper good size yards . I feel safe in silkstone , i go for my nightly walks as late as 11pm and never had any trouble whatsoever. Never even see any youth wondering late at night . Cant go wrong in silkstone

      @@storest4467 what makes you say its not safe ? Do you walk late at night every night ? My family have been living here for over 50 years . Never had any issues with break ins , theft , vandalism or anything else whatsoever.

      I grew up in Silkstone in the 70,s , 80,s . Way better back then .

    Thanks Luke. I was waiting for it. I have one investment in Collingwood park and another one in Redbankplains. Both are doing really good. Plenty of equity accrued.

    I have a buyers agent recommended from my broker that I've gone through (sorry)
    I do love you work and I'd like to know what your thoughts on brassall were? abit hard with a budget of Max 500k and that's the suburb they are trying to sell me but I'm not 100%. Would you go with a family home in brassall?

      Hey Vince, I've done some research into Brassall as I was planning on buying there. Brassall has alot of black soil, basically this means the foundation that the house are built on are unstable with a lot of movement. Some pockets of land are also contaminated. Its best to have a soil test done and a building and pest inspection done prior to settlement. If inspecting an existing property look for cracks in walls and cracks in cement, cracks 1mm to are ok, anything greater than 3mm walk away. Hope this helps you.

    Wouldnt touch anything except Newtown eastern heights Raceview and Leichardt to the west. Personally i have 1 in eastern heights and raceview.

    I wouldn't recommend Springfield either. A highly flood-stricken suburb with unfinished restored rooves 🤔 Btw, like your channel, informative!

      @@lukewiles1 It's all Lend Lease and Mirivac build these days however I think the councils are to blame for this trash.

    My dad who is a retired Air Force Officer has always advised never to buy anywhere near Amberley Air Base. He says China will 100% detonate a nuclear warhead there if war ever breaks out. I know that might sound alarmist and borderline paranoid; but I do take it seriously.

      A nuclear warhead?? That would most likely negatively impact more than just that area. Probably the whole of Ipswich AND most, if not all, of Brisbane lol....

    Bought a heritage home in Newtown a few years ago for $225k now it's almost double that. Ipswich is just going to get better.

    Hello Ipswich I've told everyone I know that there is nothing good about Ipswich 4305, the town the people from the adults to the children. It is an ugly little town that has so many evil secret's that not even you could disagree. I'm just making my point and having my say. If it wasn't for all that Ipswich 4305 wouldn't be a bad place to live lmao. Cheers.

    I live in East Ipswich born here living in same house since 1967 flooded twice council don't do anything to this area until last year spent 300 thousand repairing road new gutters now 4houses getting demolished in flood buy back scheme the council wants to fine disabled pensioner $300 for forgetting to register my 11year old Kelpie I suppose THIS CANT DO DOPEY COUNCIL needs money 💰💰👎👎🥱🥱

      You having an issues with the black soil? I've heard houses in Redbank plains are having constant issues with damage to their foundations because of how bad the soil is.
