This video was so much fun to watch! I love how much life your readings brought to all the dialogue. I’m so glad you enjoyed the game! The tiny yellow arrow next to the ability used button is actually the fill all button if you just want to throw whatever pigment in without caring which you get. Ironically you were hovering over this button while asking for that kind of short cut. We will look into adding shift click as well! Thanks again for checking out Brutal Orchestra!
@SynthWave Dave I’m a big fan of Hylics and the desert in the first area does resemble Hylics but I think a big part of this is due to our shared inspiration of Moebius work. If you enjoyed Hylics I’d encourage you to look him up, as Hylics is massively inspired by his works.
The upgrade from Brutal to Savage Clobber seems to be going from bifurcated to trifurcated. Agreed with others though this game looks good for a mini series at the very least!
Play more, for sure. btw, the next level of that one attack you were struggling to understand says it will attack 3 enemies; the left, right AND (directly) opposite. Just remember, "oppo-sing" means oppo-site.
The take a penny, leave a penny might be OP, if it works as described. What should happen is " If you do action, then get coin." "50% chance to lose that coin". IF the description is what it says, then you will never go below what you started with, because you can only lose the coin that you gained from the item. So if you start a round with 5 coins, do 4 actions with that unit, then you should leave with 5-9 coins. This would allow you to farm coins, which is why there is a 2% break upon activation.
Ah, it’s description needs to be mended, It will take coins that are not gained by it. It’s chance to break is also being upped to 5% in our upcoming patch. It is still one of my favourites, put it on Nowak and you can basically print money for a while.
@@TaliabobMair Definitely more Lindroth than Bosch, I think the Amanita games (Samarost etc.) look a bit like Hieronymus Bosch's art minus the birds, bugles and buggery. It's not a style you see very much of within games, and when it is it's often more in the Terry Gilliam fashion (Rock of Ages, Procession to Calvary.)
@@uoodSJW Trust me, the game is much more inspired by Bosch than Lindroth. You have seen only a small fraction of the game here and a lot of the more direct Bosch references in the second half of the game.
There's some over thinking going on with that first boss. Use frail to double damage, then L/R punch for 8x2x2=32 damage. You can kill the thing in two turns just by zerging it down.
that is under the impression that it is 2(8x2) and not 8x2 + 8 though because it buffs the damage for the next 'strike' and the phrasing on that is ambiguous in relation to multi-hit attacks, I talked about that in the video. I didn't want to take the risk when I could win in a safer way.
Hi retro love the content been a fan for years now. I was wondering if you were ever going to return to undermine, atomicrops or neon abyss? there have been new updates to all of them especially atomicrops there's a new character and the weapons have been changed completely.

As if it were even a question! Yes! A thousand times yes! Make it a series baby!
I would love to see a full series of this
more Brutal Orchestra PLEASE
A full playthrough of this would be pretty darn swell.

I'd love to see a full series on this
This game needs more recognition so commenting for the algorithm
Thought it would be something like that Tube Knight meme, came out enjoying the dark humor all the same.

I just discovered your channel, this video was so much fun! I’d love to see you play through more of this game
The Fla Min Goe is uhhh... something else
Whoa, spoopy!
Like [seemingly] everyone else, I'd love to see some more of this mammajamma.
Full playthrough please!
The Ability at max level hits 3 enemies. The left, right AND opposing enemy. Kinda like a shotgun spread. Super Op on bosses I would imagine
yeah its VERY OP

Looks vaguely like Petscop.
Interesting game, I like it.
I would like some more of this game.:D
Id watch a full series on this
I believe this game takes heavy inspiration from Hylics, a weird claymation RPG. Makes me happy to see more odd/new games.
I can confirm that Mason Lindroth is an inspiration of mine.

can we get a series?
you read the penny thing opposite of what it is i think lol; always gives when you use an ability, but half the turns you lose one
Would love to see more
play it more. the artstyle alone is worth it
Great vid! I'd love to see more

@@Retromation Sorry for missing the part where you explain your line of reasoning. Thanks for the re-explain! ^^
interesting game, i'd like see more!
looks inspired at least partially by the anime Bleach, excellent
I think OMC wrote a song about this game.
I get Undertale vibes from the character designs
This gives big hylics vibes
