Excellent advice Peter and I like your point on the dangers of the shiny object syndrome. Best to follow through on an existing project and learn along the way. That will provide us with the best chance of success on the next project.
Another great video as always Peter. The concept of focusing always on quality and aligning with Amazon quality standards is something we all NEED to do, but I know from experience as a new publisher, there are so many things you see on other creators' channels, that it's very easy to get distracted by shiny objects and "shortcuts". All wd can do is strive to do better every release, and hopefully it will get to the point where quality is just a built in feature of every book.
Thank you for your comment, Jonathan! I agree. There will always be opportunities for distraction, so committing and staying focused is essential, especially once we find something that's working.
I enjoyed the whole video and learned from some of your tips. I look forward to your video on “setting up systems” because I really need to learn how to do that. And I agree so much about not being distracted with shiny objects. I shared about in our Skool community too. By the way, I am enjoying being a member of your Driven Publishers common Skool. Thank you.
Tips for a video to make: A lot of people, me included, are really struggling with the A+Content, and with that I mean the quality of the images when you upload it on KDP. I feel like I've tried everrrrything - and I see people all the time struggle with the same. But some people have managed to get better quality after uploading it but I have no idea how. Many of us make the cover and A+ ourselves, often through canva, simply because it's the most fun part haha. But I've also seen professionals struggle with this, so if you have a solution I think that would be a very helpful video to many!
I don't have anyone that I've tested to give you, but I would aim to find relevant information and have AI summarize it for me based on certain questions.
It depends on the potential I see in it. I update the manuscript if I see obvious improvements that can be made; the same with the book cover and description.
Off topic question… would you start with mid content book publishing to learn the process before going all in on a level 4 publishing brand? Or would this put your account in danger of termination? Due to looking a little more spammy than high content brands.
I would consider it. I don't think it will put the account in danger of termination as long as the content is allowed to be used (and you're not publishing inappropriate books as ebooks, i.e., Word Searches).

(and to my knowledge, there's not much information on this issue on YT)
Thanks for the video suggestion, I've written it down for consideration.
Maybe you could share with us some prompt.for ai to underdtand audience?

I couldn' focus completely on what you were saying because of those tiny orbs going around you.
I will tell them to be more still next time!
Peter, do you redesign books that are failing or do you move on to another book?
