I'm new to card making and heat embossing so I've watched what feels like a thousand videos in the last couple of months. I appreciate all of your tips here. I don't remember who did a tutorial showing that you can use a combination of your colored ink pads with a VersaMark to heat emboss in color. I think it was load up your stamp with VersaMark first and then your colored ink, then add your embossing powder and that keeps your colored ink "wet" long enough to get a good embossed image. I haven't tried it yet but it's on my to-do list. 😊
I appreciated your use of regular stamp pad ink, with the precaution of "juicy" pad. I also loved your tee-shirt.... As Americans, my family spent a wonderful few days at the Empress, Bouchardt Gardens and at a butterfly pavilion that I think was called Blooms and Butterflies! Have I got the right name? What a wonderful trip that was!
I'm so grateful to hear that this video was helpful--that is certainly my goal! Heat embossing is a fun way to step up your cards and paper craft projects.
Finally got around to watch your video on heat embossing..I enjoy your videos. I’m alway having troubles with heat embossing, the powder usually comes off it doesn’t stay on. I’ll have to try it again.
Better late than never Hi Brandy Thanks for this video I learned a lot and truly enjoyed it there is so much you can do with it. Can you please tell me how you use stickey powder. Thanks
Hi Brandy! I enjoyed this video. Quick question. You said to use a rubber backed stamp. Do you not use the cling mounted stamps for heat embossing? If not, why?
I find that if you use the embossing buddy on the embossing tray you would not have the powder clinging to the tray. Love watching all your videos.

When you do tone on tone do you have to heat set?
Woooow Good
Why do your videos have a slight echo?
I regularly think I’m going to make simple cards with only stamps. It’s too boring so I heat emboss most of the time. 😂😩
Disregard previous message. You are on and I was just too anxious.
