Where’s my class of 2024 peeps at? My stats are: GPA Unweighted: 3.895 ACT: 24 SAT: 1090 AP classes taken: 3 Out of state applicant (MN) Hope this helps anyone
Lol.. I am a freshman in high school, upcoming sophomore) and really wanna go to Bama..so this year I have taken AP World History, Hon Algebra 1 and Adv Hon Algebra 2, Hon bio, band, and Adv Hon English 1.. I'm on the AP math route in school.. besides APWH.. I also wanna take all AP classes in: European studies, us history, calculus ab/bc, research and seminar, language and composition, government and economics, statistics, psychology, and maybe physics.. along with this we do the PACT at my school every semester and got a 21 for my first time with also mantaining a 4.0 gpa.. I also do marching band and plan doing it for the rest of high school (and becoming captain of our guard) along with participating in Tri M Music Honor Society, Model UN, etc and plan on doing NHS, Best Buddies, Beta, DECA, FBLA, Stars Peer Leaders, Math Team, and student council.. I love football there and would love to go business and minor with interior design (just BC it's something I love along with math and dealing with budgets/money etc).. by this much.. would I have a chance in making it in? And a chance with getting a really good scholarship?
Ashtyn Thelen I live in North Alabama, and my sister is attending Alabama, and a good amount of students from my school are going to UA so I somewhat know what standards they have based on who they have accepted (I am also a rising senior in high school and planning on attending either Alabama or Auburn). First things first PACT doesn’t account for what you’re real ACT score will be so don’t be disheartened, I got a 20 on my PACT and a 26 on my ACT (which still isn’t phenomenal but it’s a good score). With the courses I see you taking and the clubs you are/planning to be apart of and your current gpa you should have absolutely no problem getting in to UA. Now out-of-state cost is not cheap so you’ll want a scholarship more than likely, but luckily UA is very generous with there scholarships. If you get an ACT score of 25-26 or higher, I believe it would be almost a guaranteed acceptance (I believe anyways). I hope this helps!
Omg I love performing in that building. The recital hall is beautiful. I have my first solo recital there in May though the community music school for high schoolers.
hey, I am an international students going to bama and because here the GPA doesnt matter i don't have a very high one. Do you thing with a 3.05 GPA I would have a chance to get a bid?
Hi! I was born in Alabama and moved to Tennessee when I was two, and then California at 12! I’ve been an Alabama fan all my life, and can’t remember a Saturday that wasn’t spent watching football in the fall and early winter! How would you describe game day now that you’ve been there?
I am interested in attending this school in fall 2020. I have decent grades, nothing too bad. I am takinh three AP Classes with a mix of Junior level classes. But the only extracurricular activity I have is Band. I do a lot with band and a bunch of outside projects and volunteering with it. Other than Band, I do not really have a bunch of extracurricular activities like NHS or Beta or Key Club. I may have to try hard to get in since I will be a senior next year. Do you think I should join more extracurricular activities to gain a more competitive edge?
quentin williams my friend got in with a 23 ACT and her gpa wasn’t great (she pulled c and d’s in math classes almost all the way thru) and was basically a b student all the way thru. she’s going to bama this fall and got in easily.
Bama is not difficult to get into. Scholarship money would be the biggest thing to think about gaining a competitive edge for. The band is a big deal at Bama; I don't know what scholarships are available with that. Because of the cost of college nowadays, I encourage students to search for varieties of scholarships that students may not know about. When I was in school, the financial aid office put out lists of scholarships a lot of people did not know about. I hope you have success whereever you decide to go! We would love to have you in Bama.
I am very interested in attending the University of Alabama but I don't think I would get in. I have a decent GPA but my ACT and SAT are not the best so I don't think I have a chance do you have any advice.

It’s so fun. I don’t go there - my brother does, and it was so fun when I visited him.

Quentin Williams alabama is very easy to get into you will be fine
they only look at your grades so extra curriculars dont matter

i would say to apply!! if you have a good gpa you have a good shot!! it’s hard to say for sure but i would encourage you to apply
Erica Walker did you get in to UA
Do u think I have a chance with a 4.07 and no test scores??
If you took that many honors and AP classes, but your weighted GPA is nearly the same as your unweighted, you most definitely did not get mostly A's.
do u need a 4.0 for alabama, my grades are good but not that good cause i’m awful at math, is a 3.5 good for alabama or do i need to get better grades
a 3.5 is great for admission here!! i’d just encourage you to keep working hard and keep your grades up but you should be good!
@@MollyGlus ok good just as long as i keep it that way for the next 2 years lmao
@@gray2316 how did it go?
What state are you a resident in? NC?
What is Alabama act score to get accepted?
