ahh hello from a fellow national merit who has lived on campus the past three years!! I was in Ridgecrest West, Bryce Lawn, then Pres 2. I have never heard of/met someone who has lived in Harris so wow!! Fun to hear about it. Hot take: I prefer Bryce Lawn over the Highlands. It was also my fav to live in because of the full kitchen. I do love Pres 2 now & have found my area to be real quiet, but I also know that is completely dependent on who you get as neighbors.
haha very true in terms of the neighbors. I've been lucky so far to get quiet ones but I know that neighbors can completely change a rooming experience!
This is a helpful video. Also a mom with second son heading there in fall 2022. My athlete son had to stay at Burke. I can validate that it is bottom tier. Yuk.
No because living in Tut was terrible sorority girls screaming drunk, puke and blood all over the bathroom, far away from everything, no storm shelters so you have to walk blocks for shelter, barely clean, small rooms, bathroom was only cleaned at the beginning of the school year, it's only good if your sorority is across the street and game day unless you aren't at the game then it's just crowded especially when the game is during move out day. Also my bf lived in Patty and it is really nice and clean waaaaayyy bigger bathroom than Tut's no squeezing to get out the toilet 😌 stall
If Burke gets an F, Rose Towers would have gotten a G. Rose Towers was a 13 story on campus apartment building that got imploded back on 7/4/2012. Rose Towers sat where Prez II sits today.
@@ElvinPearson0 Rose Towers was a three wing building built in the same style of the Caprini Green high rise projects in Chicago. I have great memories of the people I met while living in Rose Towers. The building was old and was an eye soar. Most campuses are getting away from really tall dorms due to safety reasons and to minimize suicide jumpers. Quite a number of students jumped from the top floors of Rose Towers over the years. This was such a problem that the University the retrofitted windows so that they would only open about 4”.

"F for Forgettable" - very fair assessment
I feel kinda bad that I forgot Paty... It has a Canes but Canes doesn't have gluten free food :(

Love your vids! I’m gonna live in tut next year and rushing!
That's so exciting! I loved rush! This July all of my videos will be rush themed so keep an eye out for that. :)

When did Martha Parham become a male dorm? It was a female girl not dorm as far back as I can remember.
I’m not sure! But I do know by 2019 when I entered it was all male. But I’m 2015 when my sister was a freshman it was still all female I believe.
GOD BLESS
