Question:
When detecting motion,
in addition to sending an alert on the iPhone,
is it possible to also send a voice alert to a Google NEST mini device??
Do you have to keep the charger plugged in all the time? Or does it charge and you can remove the it?
There is no internal battery for this camera. It needs to be plugged in to use.
Why is mine asking for a password? There’s no answer out there for this. I just bought it today and it doesn’t give any clue for a password to connnect the device to my wifi
Did you purchase this camera brand new? If you did that's very odd. You could try doing a hard factory reset by using the reset button on the camera. Generally when you set these up you have the option to set up a device specific password which sounds like what you're running into the reset should get you past that.
Can the Tapo e638 camera be used without having a subscription?
Yes, Tapo camera can be used without a subscription.
im going on a trip and need to be able to use this long distance, my phone does not support the sim needed so i will have to buy another phoen abroad can i use my tp link accouint to view it abroad (even if its not on the same phone)
As long as you have access to your Tapo account it does not need to be the same phone. Just need the account and access to data.

Yes, you can remotely view the live feed from this camera as long as you home has power and wifi.
To connect us easy,but when u want to bring the phone somewhere not at home,it couldn't work anymore?
As long as you phone has data and the camera is still connected to your homes wifi you should have no issues.

@@dylancullen3236 Have you tired removing the app and reinstalling it and logging back in? Also somthing to look at is your Wifi. I am testing a new tapo camera and becuse if have WEPA3 turned on it will not connect. I needed to use WEPA2.

You would need to remove the ad card to do something like that.

@@TawagNgKampyeon If you remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into your computer the computer will treat it like a flash drive and you can look at all the video clips on it.
