For its price below 50 USD it actually has decent quality. The only thing I do not like that much is power cable and bulky power supply, which I commented already in C320WS comments including USB-C Power Delivery mod. There should have been L shaped connector as most user will most likely have camera lying on desktop or hanging from ceiling. I am rare exception as I installed this camera sidewards on window frame on inner side of my balcony where straight plug actually helps me a bit. Balcony has also outer glass sheets, so camera is not exposed to rain, only to somewhat lower temperatures. ❄️

I agree however the great thing is that power jack is the same as much of the old security cameras so you can just plug these in

    • @DB-47
      @DB-47 Год назад

@@Bronson-nc1bx I agree with that, the only thing that is odd is actual voltage, most security cameras run either from PoE or they use 12 volts. This one uses 9 volts and finding 9V power supply is a bit more tricky than 12V one. However with Power Delivery trigger set to 9V you can use almost mobile phone charger

In addition to the daily recording, while recording during the day, it also constantly takes short 30-second motion-detected clips, regardless of whether it is recording during the day anyway. On weekends, I have it set to only record when motion is detected from 7:30am-6:00pm and yes, then there are clips only if it detects motion. The rest of the days, he's both recording all day and separately doing multiple clips because there's actually a lot of movement, but in my opinion, since he's shooting all day anyway, short clips during that time are redundant.

I am curious about this issue. Neither TAPO nor any video or literature at all mentioned what kind of SD Card is needed. All they say is "256 GB" but what about the speed ? and other aspects ? It would be so easy to buy the wrong SD CARD. It is very strange indeed. Is there a reason why ? Did this company made an error or is this camera has a defect or is the intended SD Card is no longer made or does not exist ? Or does all these video makers as well as TAPO think everybody has expert knowledge of this different SD Card formats ?

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews

I don't think it is thinking everyone is an expert about SD cards, but more like once you get to a particular size SD card most of them all have the sampe specs unless you start looking at the pro stuff which is super expensive. In this case the max size SD card for this camera you are going to see things like U3, class 10, or V30. These all indicate the speed at which the card can write data. But I think this guide might help you a little more then my explanation. www.kingston.com/en/blog/personal-storage/memory-card-speed-classes

I can't seem to locate the remote control function aka Pan and Tilt within the c110 app. The "Pan and Tilt" button appears automatically for my other Tapo devices (c210)

The C110 does not have the ability to pan. This is why you do not see those controls in the app.

It is still a good camera but I would co with the C120 over this camera now: ruclips.net/video/OmGsHgiIB-M/видео.html

@@Wanderer001_Reviews thanks! but i'm planning to get the c210, as it has tilt and
      pan function. Thank you again!

The C120 is not a pantel camera. I think of it more as the big brother to this camera and if I were to purchase a new camera like this I would go with the c120

I understand that. It was one of the short comings of the camera. However, Tapo has a much better option that uses USB C in the C120. I did a review of it here: ruclips.net/video/OmGsHgiIB-M/видео.html and it is now my go to recommendation.

Tapo ay gumagamit ng wifi based setup, walang QR code para ma-scan mo.

Just put black tape over the infrared light

I have done that in the past with other cameras. I just don't see why it is not done through the app. It would be simple to do, like many other brands have.

the fact that doesn't upload directly to cloud is crazy. a smart thief can just unplug it before you get the notification........

Nice review. Such fast and jerky hand movement, it gets distracting.

Thanks, for the feed back. Some of the jerky movements are becuase of my editing, but I do talk with my hands alot even off camera I will keep that in mind for the future.

This is a 1080 video, this camera does 2k, which is why I put the video samples in there own video. I did mention this during the review and have it linked in the description and with a card.
