Set up no problem. Have had mine a while and no problem with th the ball socket working loose. Sometimes there is a delay in notifications but better than smart switch. I like that notifications can be received through alexa. Paid €20. I agree regarding use as a security camera but works well as a monitor.
If you are filing through a window and want clear night recording... keep it set on day... night vision will just reflect the camera on the window.. quality is still great!
This is more of a stand-alone system using its proprietary app. There is no video output to allow it to be integrated into another system, nor is it compatible with any other software
Hi there my Wi-Fi at home is provided through Rogers but my cellular data plan is provided through another company called chatr. I bought this camera to see if anyone has been entering in my home while I've been gone. As I've had a few break-ins. When I walk away from my home and away from the Wi-Fi, I can no longer access the live streaming to my camera at home. I connected the tapo camera to my Wi-Fi provider Rogers through my mobile phone using the tapo app. When I walk away from my Wi-Fi connection and turn on my data plan for chatter I can no longer access the live streaming. How do I resolve this? How do I access my live streaming camera when away from my home using my Charter data plan ? Please help.
@@simply-tek thanks for replying, but no can't delete from app, only clips saved from the cloud can be deleted. I have an lmou camera that allows you to delete all captured clips without the need to format every time.
Did anyone contact you with an answer to your question... I can't seem to connect to the live stream as soon as my phone is out of range of my Wi-Fi it says the camera is offline. How do I connect to livestream when away from my Wi-Fi and using a different mobile providers data plan ?

Did you charge you video camera 24/7?
I have endless motion detected clips of which l can't delete unless l format the micro SD card, is there any other way, thanks.
You should be able to delete with the app. You can also use a card reader and delete that way.

my tapo c100 cannot work i connect both wifis then screen says configuring and it stays like that forever

If you have a router that is dual band you may need to change the mode to 2.4Ghz just for the C100.
