CONFIRMED BIRD STRIKE? Ryanair B737-800 Landing at Lodz Airport from Brussels | Filmed in 4K UHD

- On the 8th of August, I went down again to Łodź Władysław Reymont Airport ( EPLL | LCJ ) to do some morning planespotting. The first arrival of the day was a Ryanair B737-800 as FR9885 from Brussels, however after arrival the crew reported to air traffic control that they suffered a bird strike upon landing. It took me to analyse a bit at first however after looking at the footage you get a very fast glimpse of a starling hitting the wing of the aircraft at 0:15. The B737-8AS ( registered as EI-DPY ) sustained no damage after the bird strike. This is the first time I managed to film an event of this sort so it really was interesting to hear the report over the radio!

To niesamowite! Jakoś nie mogę znaleźć dokładnego miejsca w którym ptaki uderzyły w samolot podczas lądowania na powtórce wideo. Czy udało ci się dowiedzieć lub przeprowadzić inspekcję, gdzie ptak uderzył? Pozdrawiam😎✈️

Obserwowałem lądowania kilka razy i powiedziałbym że zderzenie z ptakiem miało miejsce o 0:14. Nie widać tego wyraźnie, ale wygląda to tak jakby szpak uderzył w skrzydło. Świetne video!!

What a catch! Very difficult to spot it haha! What engine was it? I think I saw something on engine 2 unless I'm blind XD
It was hard to believe it too my friend! I keep looking back at the video replay and I see a slight glimpse of a bird going over the wing at 0:15, but I can't be that sure☹️. However after the radio report I was really shocked. Still on the lookout for that bird in the video replay👀🤣
@@aviationcinematics2024 Haha same!! I saw sm go by cuz I watched it on playback at 0.5x and 0.25x speeds so ig that helped :)
