But you haven't heard anything like this. Thunderstruck on a traditional Chinese instrument. WTF?! That's what I said. Just ran across it. ruclips.net/video/H82Gv564TqM/видео.html
Can’t stop laughing. She really was thunderstruck. She’s speechless! So funny!!!
😂😂I've got tears
lol. I was about to leave a comment saying "Jayy. You've been.....Thunderstruck!" but you beat me to it in a way. XD
indeed she'd been Thunderstruck .
Right! Welcome to REAL music. NO auto-tune, no mixing, just a REAL group of musicians having a fantastic time entertaining their fans!
Well, I'm a 70 yr old woman and if I start playing AC DC Thunderstruck, I bounce around like a maniac in my chair. They are THE best.
I’m 73! Same reaction!
That needs to be a video!!! 🤘🤘
Same , Aussie in my 60z ..first saw them live here in 76..last 2015ish
Keep on rocking lady. There is no age limit on good music.
She's lying. When anyone listens to AC/DC they can't possibly be any older than the 15 year old school boy on lead guitar.
I'm 52 and I still jump around the room, like a maniac, when AC/DC comes on!
Me at 85 when dragonforce comes on.
lol I'm 64 and I'm the same even after a heart attack.
... and Krokus ... and Nazareth ... and Accept! I'm 48, and lose my voice to them sonsofbitches more times I can count!
I'm 66 and a great grandmother and I LOVE IT. Dancing like crazy to this fantastic music. Can't get enough. AC/DC rocks!!
I guess I'm kinda like a teenager at 49 when AC "fuckin" DC plays Thunderstruck too
Man, we old people really used to have fun. Just think all the years we've been listening and dancing to music like this!
yeah if you call headbanging, jumping and moshing dancing... LOL
But seriously... if you grew up on this, hearing it firsthand... wasn't that just the f-ing best ? !
I was 11 when Back In Black came out and I used to hear all that album blaring out from the speakers of the cool guy's cars in school and I LOVED IT ! Couldn't wait to own that album myself, but my parents would have FREAKED at the time.
I listen with hearing aids now!!!! But I'd do it all over again!!!!
I turned 13 in 1970. Need I mention all the brand new bands and 1000's of #1 songs I've witnissed. I was blessed.
Another great Aussie band. 💖
@@randyhoman7631 We ALL were.... I was born in '70 and I feel blessed as well. AC/DC, Zeppelin, Floyd etc., were still the #1 bands being played on everyone's "Kenwoods" when I was in high school ('84-'88). Good friends, Good music, Good weed and GOOD times..... Peace brother!
Your reaction when Brian started singing needs to be put into a meme.
Her timing was spot-on, too - when she paused the video exactly during the only quiet moment in the song, and as soon as she started it again, AC/DC hit her with both barrels.
ooo hella yes that is the purfect meme for when thunderstruks
**Welcome to the AC/DC rabbit hole, enjoy the ride, you are going to love it**
This type of rabbit hole goes deep.
Have fun with it.
lol I'm 17 and you've just been introduced into the world of ACDC, it's some very great music
I wish I could say the same at 17 I’m 26 finally hearing them but great job to your parents or whoever introduced them to you. Your truly lucky
My first AC/DC gig was in 1977. Thanks for making me feel old. 😂
You’ve been THUNDER STRUCK, lmaorof. Still happens every time!
Im 13 and I listen to them
@@rogermellie1514 My first AC/DC tune I played on stage was in 1982. Thanks for making me feel old :D
Is no one gonna recognize Angus playing this one handed finger tapping the entire intro?? One of the most epic songs!!
Was looking for this comment. Amazing!
Except he plays it with a pick on the recording
Looks like you've been; Thunderstruck
Indeed.
🤭👍
For sure! I love her reaction!
@@same_ole_lemonz4195 Yes, yes, these reaction videos are great for absorbing other's 'endorphin combustions.' A really good point. Thanks for the share. ✌️😊
Yep
I'm 65 and have been rocking with these guys music forever. Sat right next to the corner stage at Mississippi Night's here in St.Louis and partied with them when they first came here..
Brian's voice gets everyone every time😂. LEGENDARY!!!
Love seeing the younger generations reactions to our music. Love it.
YEP, that is the look of one THUNDERSTRUCK. Welcome to the Crazyness.
Lol everyone has the same look when they first hear AC/DC.
He is one of the very few in the whole human history that screamed his own hears almost completely deaf...So much dedication to music...R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
You might need to go to hospital JAYY you look like you've been thunderstruck. Ps stay away from balloons ♥️
@archona54 true plus You shook me all night long, & highway to hell
Shakin at the knees lol
I agree with archona54 Back in black is one of the best albums ever it was my first Ever concert I went to I saw them twice in 3 days first time it was at a place called the mayfair nightclub in Newcastle massive place I was under age when I went but brilliant then I went to the city hall in Newcastle one of my best concerts ever
And TNT
xDxDxD
Of all AC/DC’s hits, this is the one that rocks the most. I mean, if you don’t feel like running through a brick wall after cranking this one up you might not be alive.
Yes. Brian Johnson's voice is the sound of 20 years of Marlboro an jack daniels.
@Point Dexter Angus? As in the guitar player? Or did you mean Bon scott, the original singer?
Brilliant. Sums up his voice to a tee
@@bazkeen I cant take credit. Read it in a comment months ago.
Still a brilliant quote
More like 40+.
Look any person who listens to AC⚡DC and says their ears have just been blessed is DAMN FINE in MY book !
To call AC/DC high energy wouldn’t even come close to explaining them.
How about High Voltage? 😉
@Michael Pullins Really? I thought it stood for Anti-Christ Devil Cult! 🤪
@@MrDarkwing78 Nah they called the band AC/DC because Angus and Malcolm's older sister Margaret had a sewing machine that literally had 'AC/DC' written on it. Might have even had the lighting strike on it too. Essentially stands for Alternating Current / Direct Current
@@squidwardshouse5431 I was being sarcastic, albeit using a stupid conspiracy theory myth that was perpetrated by anti-rock groups in the 80’s, the same types who claimed Kiss stood for “Knights In Satan’s Service”
Edit: no one seemed to pick up on my initial “High Voltage” joke around the beginning, which kind of bums me out, though. 😖
Facts
62Yrs Old, Still get Thunderstrucked listening to this!!! Loud & Proud!!
Ooorah.
I grew up on a steady diet of these dudes' music & I frickin' LOVE watching people hear them for the first time. Brian Johnson's vocals, Angus Young's guitar mastery, & Malcolm Young's rock-solid rhythm guitar work (Rest In Peace, Malcolm). All of them combined give off more energy than a runaway fission reactor. This reaction was a joy to watch. All Hail AC⚡DC.
I'm an electrician, I work in Brian, the singers, house occasionally. He is a totally salt of the earth regular guy. Drove a garbage truck before he got the gig with ac/dc.
Actually he was in a band called Geordie who did a kind of boogie rock, sometimes disco-ish pop.
Hehe... yes... i think Brian is the finest character in rock music. Still only nr2. behind bon scott... sorry :)
Lucky
I met him when he brought one of his cars over to Palm Beach International Raceway. He is truly a great guy to meet. I was lucky enough for him to show me his car. Great guy and a phenomenal band.
And he’s also a real classic car connoisseur.
This is the best reaction video on the internet. Welcome to ACDC baby, I had your same reaction 40 years ago
6:30 Priceless. And yes, AC/DC is awesome and amazing. For future reference; AC/DC should always be played with the volume knob on "11".
You'd love ACDC's 'who made who', 'Shook me all night long' and 'shoot to thrill' they're EPIC
Yep. She's officially been Thunderstruck lol happens everytime. I've seen them live twice. Phenomenal energy. Thanks.
Seen them once. Agreed
Saw them like 2 years ago. Never been a huge fan but definitely the best performance I've seen.
AC/DC and Faith No More are the most energetic rock shows I've ever seen. Amazing.
I’ve seen them twice in the 80s EPIC
It’s even better because you’re wearing headphones. That really gives you the full experience.
That reaction was CLASSIC!!! The 'Thunderstruck' look on your face...ROTFL
and "my ears just been blessed!"
"What the fiddlestick?!!" Haha the best quote ever!!!
You Shook Me All Night Long. Enjoy.
Yes
yeah, she will love that one
Yes, definitely one to react to.
Long way to the top ,as good as any song
Absolutely one of the most powerful songs ever. And it hits you fast. It’s in your face from jump!
Those of us who grew up w AC/DC are still listening. I’m 47 and every song they have on Spotify is in my playlist! I listen to them daily. Once you hear these guys it’s hard to stop.
I love watching you young folks reacting to the music us old farts grew up with. I’m glad a new generation is hearing them.
If not for social media these great bands would have died out with us. We’re counting on you guys to keep em alive for another generation.
Truth brother! Also a long time AC/DC fan! I've been listening for 40+ years myself. I too am happy the younger generations are keeping them going. Rock on!
I'm 33, AC/DC were my nursery rhymes bruv - *87's* *RULE*
You see their new song that just came out?
AC DC proof good music doesn't just exist for a generation, it exsit for everyone for all time
@@witch798 brother same here, i am also from 87 and my dad is an ac/dc fan so i heard these songs from an early age
The greatest pure balls out, kickass rock band of all time.....
From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, nobody rocked harder than AC/DC. My favorite song of theirs that I'd like you to react to is "You Shook Me All Night Long."
Stephen Hanft Iron Maiden and Judas Priest did🤘
Um... ZZ Top
"You've been... thunderstruck!"
Then, she makes the meme face. Perfect timing 😁
hey boo, AC/DC Whole Lotta Rosie live at River Plate...you will be blown away :)....anything from the River Plate concert is amazing!
The 91 show in donington is way, way better.
Yeah I second that
@@briand4036 You just had to ruin it for Mike didn't you?
Yessss that's one of the best ones
AC/DC live is one of the BEST concerts you'd ever see! So much energy that afterwards, I couldn't sleep all night!
Or hear properly for 3 days 🤣
Yeah me too and I've been to a lot of concerts.
Those crazy wild Aussies, Ya gotta love 'em!
They are awesome but Brian Johnson is a good old Geordie boy from Britain.
They're Scottish.. Angus Young, malcolm young from Glasgow
Ohh! but the band is Aussie according to Wikipedia, are they wrong in that respect? and you know, you cannn always trust the Internets........
@@paulhansberry8168 Angus and Malcolm born in Scotland but emigrated to Australia really young. Grew up in Australia and band was formed there. Drummer is Aussie, Cliff the bassist is British. Aussie band though 100%
@@scotoftheanarchic.7903 grew up in Australia though from the age of 2 and 4. Australian accents and the band is officially Australian
bon scott was the 1st lead singer, he kninda drank isself to death, brian juhnson was aroardeie for them, he ended up being the lead singer
Our greats by AC/DC, back in black, hell’s bells, T.N.T. etc...
Big Balls, the Jack, You shook me all night long, Long way to the top, Razor's edge etc.
@@lavrentivs9891 whole lotta Rosie, ride on, walk all over you, if you want blood
Let's be honest, pretty much every song from AC/DC is a banger
Yeah... if it's AC/DC it's not gonna be a "miss"... SO... about anything. ;o)
You shook me all night long
First Time AC/DC thats sick, can’t believe! How on earth is that possible
Brian Johnson is their second lead singer. Their first one, Bon Scott, died in 1980. He had an amazing, upper-register voice as well. For a slower, bluesier side of them, with their earlier singer, I have to recommend "Ride On." Has one of Angus's (the little guy in the shorts) best guitar solos, too.
Actually Dave Evans was their first singer! Just saying.
@@stephenurso9267 Well, true, yes, but recordings of that lineup are a lot harder to find, for sure.
"Ride on" is awesome
Notes taken, just to be sure... ;o)
Rock n roll ain't noise pollution done by Adalita is amazing but yeah long way to the top was filmed where I used to live
ive been listening to that voice for over 40 years lol Kids today lol...glad you liked it!
Try “Back In Black” by them next...the whole album
Second biggest selling album on release behind Thriller, and with over 40million sales worldwide, it’s STILL the third biggest selling album in HISTORY 40 years later! 🤟
Listened to it recently because I wanted to get into rock music and it was so good
Thunder struck is one of AC/DC's best songs
She went through every emotion that we went through back when we heard it for the first time.
This song was written about a time the band was flying over America somewhere and the plane flew throw a storm shaking the crap out of the plane. The plane was hit by lighting 12 times.
The pilot and cabin crew just kept saying ‘everything’s all right, we are fine’
This happened 4 years before the song was release
It's always fascinating to watch people who've never heard AC/DC before react the first time they hear Brian Johnson sing...
I love the faces you are making when different parts of the song kick in. They are absolutely genuine. That's how rock music makes you feel!!
Angus Young, the lead guitarist never stops moving in any of his stage performances. And he still does now in his sixties. Not given credit for his great guitar playing, which is sad.
Yes I agree.
You're kidding, right? Angus is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitarists in the world.
Bro, he and his brother were two of the best guitar duos in rock
its hard to believe someone could go through so much of their life and not have heard an ac/dc song along the way. but its obvious they have a new fan :)
go back and check out the voice of their old singer "bon scott" who died in the very early 80s. his voice was incredible.
The look on your face when you saw and hear Brian Johnson is priceless
THIS BAND IS a LEGEND globally
I love your back ground.
👍
Welcome sister we’ve been expecting you
you been thunderstruck girl,,,, yaaaa baby real rock n roll
I remember the first time i heard Thunderstruck the airs on my neck stood up and i went cold, a few decades on and it still gets me, a masterpiece
"What the fiddle-stick..?" Classic reaction! 🎧😎
Jayy, your facial expressions are just delightful! I enjoyed your reaction as much as the music. Brian, the singer you just mentioned, is a very wealthy man but most people wouldn't recognise him in the street. How's that for the right balance. Great reaction, loved it :-)
The cigarettes are going to catch up to him big time though.😬
😆 Your "what-the-f***" expression is priceless!! 😂
Welcome to my generation's music, by the way. I'm happy to share it with you & I think quite a few of us feel the same.
I've been listening to AC/DC since the 70s. So cool.
1991 saw them in Portland. Being in highschool in the early 90's was awesome.
Us oldies grew up with these guys....AC-Dc sure know how to belt out a rock anthem....they are the REAL DEAL..!!!
Brian Johnson is the lead singer.... he's quite a character....
I am a person who heard Bon Scott when I started listening to them I like Brian Johnson's voice better
Feeling so happy! 😅 …and so old 😂 because there are young people who have never heard of Acca Dacca, or this amazing classic song! 🤣✌🏼
The look on your face when Brian started singing was classic, lol
He's a Geordie. You had The Animals "house of the rising sun", and the singer Eric Burdon is from where I live, well this singer is also from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Also STING grew up about 2 miles away. Also the singer from Dire Straits, Mark Nophler is a local. Chris Rhea is from my county also.
Brian Johnson the man sounds like he's singing while gargling with glass it's awesome
🤣🤣
Jayy..remember that in a live show the volume of this would peel the skin off your face!
People miss that the opening guitar solo is played just with his fingers on the frets. That is talented
I miss those days hearing those songs for the first time when I was a kid in the 80s. Just wonderful times...
watch "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", one of my favorite AC/DC songs..If you just want to be BLOWN away watch DEF LEOPARD anything. Their drummer lost his arm and could still play the crap out of the drums.
Wow
I've been listening to this since it's release in 1990 and yes I still blast it today. Amazing band. Glad you liked it.
I’m astounded when I come across people who haven’t heard AC/DC before, on it’s release, “Back in Black” became the second biggest selling album in history, and still stands at number 3 with over 40 million copies sold world wide, behind Thriller and The Eagles greatest hits (which subsequently overtook both of the former 2). In other words, think of ANY other artist or band you love, and AC/DC’s “Back in Black” has outsold their biggest selling album, possibly multiple times over.
Edit: I forgot to say, I love that moment you paused right before “Thunderstruck”. Perfect moment to pause there, it’s kind of like the opposite of those reactors who pause right in the middle of Phil’s drum solo in “In the Air Tonight”. That one is sacrilegious!
You could say the same thing about Herbie Hancock and the Head Hunter's. Thats some of the best music I've ever heard. I guess its all subjective.
That’s the look! 🤣 You’ve been initiated, welcome to the musical freight train that is AC/DC! Great reaction as always.
His voice sounds like forty years of Jack Daniels and Marlboro cigarettes
Coogee bay hotel in the 70s ACDC ,the Angels aussie pub rock bands, what a time we had
Never made it to Coogee Bay Hotel, but when you talk Angels then add Rose Tattoo, Radiators and a whole raft of others in the 70’s we had it pretty good😎
Bless you, forever. And welcome!
That is AUSSIE Rock at it's BEST and yes We have More Bands like that in AUSTRALIA
I know i am a Proud Aussie
Ahem. Scottish Aussies.
Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi
Yeah, they are not from Oz mate
@@TJHaze123 He was 8 years old when he came to Australia. His as Ocka as they come and nothing about him screams Scottish. If his family remained in Scotland the Angus we know and love may have grown up doing a Scottish Dance (As opposed to a duck walk) and playing bagpipes (As opposed to electric guitar). Grasp at straws all you want. His an Aussie.
@@TJHaze123 They grew up there , formed the band there , their roots ARE IN AUSTRALIA , MATE !
What really blow your mind"For Those About to Rock"; they shoot off cannons!!!!!!
Or “Hell’s Bells” live tour Brian starts the song beating on a 15ft hi bell.
Lol Brian Johnson has a voice like no other. If I tried to sing like that I'd be coughing my guts out. 😂 Angus Young doin the Chuck Berry duck walk. React to "Back in Black" next.
ACDC,...,Every song sounds just like the last one....Brilliant!
You've been thunderstruck, I can see by your face... Remember never judge a book by its cover, We are always reminded of that from time to time...
Your reaction is priceless. I know you call Angus Young your Spirit Animal and I love that! 😘 My ex and I loved AC/DC so much that we named our son Angus. There's never been a time when he didn't hear AC/DC playing.
That one-handed guitar technique Angus is using is called the hammer-on technique.
People forget that Angus also used the hammer-on because he was overshadowed by Eddie Van Halen in that regard. Eddie recently passed away. And yes, Angus usually dresses up like a school boy.
The drummer is notable for never using fills.
Yes but also no. The technique is called legato, and is a combination of hammer ons and pull off's, both of which are required to play that riff one handed.
Usually, however, Angus picks every note in the riff, without using hammer ons or pull off's.
EVH popularised tapping, which is using the picking hand to also perform hammer ons and pull off's.
Legato is part of pretty much every single guitarists kit bag, nobody forgets anyone does it, and EVH doesn't have the ownership over it like he does tapping.
Your Expression, Priceless 😁
Welcome to the music I grew up with! 1980’s Aussie teen head banging to AC/DC, now 53 yo. We had the best music in Australia when I was growing up. I think you’d also enjoy their song Hells Bells.
Rumour has it that this performance woke up Bon Scott!
People that listen to AC/DC for the first time is like someone discovering a new color !
;)
I’d say it’s like someone discovering a long lost work of artistic masterpiece that stirs them like nothing else
Yes they still preform in 2020 with the same energy and angus is close to 70. They are rocking it.
"Oh, dear Lord" - LMAO. Hold on tight, friend 'cuz you just got your first ride on a train that's leavin' the station. All aboard the AC/DC!
Your reactions always priceless, lol. Angus Young has small hands but he can sure strum that guitar like no tomorrow! He’s one of the best guitarist of all time
ACDC has been around for 40 years and never did a love ballad. These Australian's just plain rock.
You shook me all night long is a love ballad lol!
Loved your reaction. Thanks for making a 68 year old smile. It was good times, great music, awesome memories.
"That dude was playing the guitar and hopping across the stage on one leg..."
@@jennifermccain2027 lol yes
Angus Young Is a guitar GOD... he plays the opening riff to Thunderstruck ONE HANDED....
Iconic Duck walk
ANGUS! ANGUS! ANGUS!
Started early on with that duck walk. He tripped over his guitar lead and kept going to cover it.... and it stuck. He was also one of the first Aussie rock musicians to use a wireless link. Back then he had a leather satchel (Book bag) as part of his costume and his wireless transmitter was in there because at the time they were big and clunky.
I love your reactions the best!!
I absolutely love some AC/DC. Janis Joplin for me has another of the most iconic voices in rock.
Well said ❤️🤘🏻
"I like all types of music, as long as it's good" you hit the nail on the head with that one, Jayy! Good music exists in an genres, we've just got to be ready for it.
"What the fiddlestick was going on" :-D
I loved your reaction! I went for a drive with my son in law and said I hope you don't mind old Lady music. Turned on the old CD player and belted out good old Acca Dacca. Loved the look on his face. I'm 58 years old and still loving them 😀
Brian's voice: He doesn't necessarily sing, he screams on key.
