Proof Avril can pull off ANY genre.
This was one of her first songs :P so its kinda her original genre she is just famous of the punk princess kinda music :) Personally i love her voice and how good it sounds in every genre .

In comparison to how she sings now, the way she sings in songs like these makes her voice just sound so sweet and lovely. I don't think I like "bad girl" Avvy as much as "good girl" Avvy, let alone my personal preference for the music genre she is singing.

it's more that she was maybe 15 when she sang this, here inspirations later where more green day and stuff like that and thats why she choose to be a Rockstar or later on more pop-rockstar. still i love avril's B-side songs as much as any other song she sings.

Phew..after hearing WTH, let alone hearing it live I had to listen to this so I could remember a time when she made good music that she could sing well live. She made some amazing music pre-TBDT...though the second half of Goodbye Lullaby is pretty good as well.

That's why people saying she was replaced makes no sense. Was she replaced twice then? Because she changed more then once. At first before she made it big and people knew who she was she sang more Christian, and country. She wasn't always pop punk in the first place. Then after pop punk she changed to pop. Depending on your opinion, for better or worse her style evolved and changed.

@13paparazi Actually it is a country song. There was a man who had written this song and asked if Avril wanted to sing. This is the outcome. Pure awesomeness. Do check your facts first, please. Even if the analysis sounds pretty convincing if you do not think about the contents of it nor the horrific language you have chosen to use, this song does not sound like gospel. It is pretty clear that it is a country song.
