A good music video for this would be having a girl who is dealing with depression. There could be one person dressed in all black representing negative emotions and one dressed in all white representing positive emotions and through the video they would both be pulling the girl, the one in black trying to bring her down and cause her to hurt herself and the one in white trying to protect her and make her feel better. For example, the one in black could hand her a knife and the one on white could take it from her. The girl would not see them since they are emotions, but she would be affected by their actions. Towards the end, the girl could be considering suicide and the person in black would get in a fight with the person in white, representing the girl fighting with herself in her mind, trying to decide what to do. At the end, the person in white would defeat the one in black, take the girl's hand and they would happily run away together, leaving the person in black behind.

I don't fucking know why, but her style and her lyrics and everything has always seemed to make me feel so fucking happy and like I belong somewhere. Everything she does. This song hits hard. My friend had just passed away last night. We were friends for three years before becoming more. But later on, we got off on friendly terms. She found a guy and after just two months later, she was gone from, what it seems, a drug overdose. I haven't been told what exactly happened, but not having closure right away makes it hurt so much. She suffered three heart attacks prior to what happened, along with being brought back after being pronounced dead. Though, when the second time it happened, she couldn't be saved. I still had leftover feelings for her that I never got to tell her. She never got to celebrate Christmas or New Years with her family and friends. Every time I think of her, I can't help but sob. Sadly, she couldn't hold on anymore. It didn't work out perfectly. But her memory will forever make it through and stay strong, 'cause her friends and family are here for her, even if she isn't here to see it.

My parent are divorce, I live with my father his abusive but I'm living with him cuz of school and I visit my mother on sch holiday and she always ask me to take care of my baby sister and then call me lazy. A good music video for this would be having a girl who is dealing with depression. There could be one person dressed in all black representing negative emotions and one dressed in all white representing positive emotions and through the video they would both be pulling the girl, the one in black trying to bring her down and cause her to hurt herself and the one in white trying to protect her and make her feel better. For example, the one in black could hand her a knife and the one on white could take it from her. The girl would not see them since they are emotions, but she would be affected by their actions. Towards the end, the girl could be considering suicide and the person in black would get in a fight with the person in white, representing the girl fighting with herself in her mind, trying to decide what to do. At the end, the person in white would defeat the one in black, take the girl's hand and they would happily run away together, leaving the person in black behind.

This song hits hard. My friend had just passed away last night. We were friends for three years before becoming more. But later on, we got off on friendly terms. She found a guy and after just two months later, she was gone from, what it seems, a drug overdose. I haven't been told what exactly happened, but not having closure right away makes it hurt so much. She suffered three heart attacks prior to what happened, along with being brought back after being pronounced dead. Though, when the second time it happened, she couldn't be saved. I still had leftover feelings for her that I never got to tell her. She never got to celebrate Christmas or New Years with her family and friends. Every time I think of her, I can't help but sob.
Sadly, she couldn't hold on anymore. It didn't work out perfectly. But her memory will forever make it through and stay strong, 'cause her friends and family are here for her, even if she isn't here to see it.

I just came across this video while listening to Head Above Water. I would dedicate thus to my 12 year daughter. Last night, she took some pills. She has been battling depression for quite some time. I'm doing all I can for her, but obviously, its not enough. I can do better. I would do anything for her! She is in the psych unit now where she is safe and getting help. I will NEVER give up!! She is my heart, my life. I love her sooooooooo much!!! I would take her place if I could. I know how it feels. Keep holding on... Absolutely. ❤

It's music like this I miss. Music that has a deep meaning. You know what I mean? Songs that don't have to do with getting shit faced drunk and doing drugs and partying.

Her songs are one of the few things that kept me going in life. I got really sick at the age of 6 and didn’t find good medication till about 17. I had major epilepsy. I became suicidal, I always wondered why I was broken. I couldn’t do anything a normal teen could. I told myself “just one more day” to remind myself I can beat this.
