Join us as we open up about the difficult experience of Deb's Dad passing away while we were on the road in our RV. Through this emotional video, we hope to offer support and shed light on the challenges of being Full-Time RVers. Thank you - Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
We love you guys and we are so grateful for our friendship! The fact Joel and May were with you guys was a tremendous help! And being at the Eclipse with you made it even more special!
We are big planners as well. Even though there are so many obstacles to get by, it's nice to have that flexibility to pick up and go when needed. It's a big reason we quit our jobs as well - we can be gone as long as our family needs us.
I know this was a difficult video to make 😔 I’m glad you guys had some laughs during a time you were having such heart heavy things to deal with. 💓 Thanks for all the tips. We definitely have more planning to do here 😬 so securing what y’all have in the works for your clothing line and donations!!
Hi guys- we had some fun times that helped keep us moving forward during this all. We are excited about the upcoming things for True Blue Tuesdays! 🙌💙🙏
I asked my daughter for a NOK (Next of Kin) box for Christmas. It contains preorganized files for all kinds of important info. I am working through it. Amazing amount of things that I hadn't thought about.
Losing a parent is never easy even in the best of situation. I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know that any of us are ever really ready for it. It's really nice to see you guys back on RUclips. 😁 Lynn and Danny
Very sorry about your dad’s passing Deb. He did a good job Deb. He gave you love for adventure and Humanity. It’s very difficult. More wonderful exciting times ahead now. ♥️
Sorry for the loss of your dad. I lost my mom last year and since have been caregiver of my dad. I agree, death of a love one is very stressful and pre planning relieves some of that. Thank you for sharing.
It is never easy to loose a parent. This video is ALL good information. Thanks for sharing! And thanks for sharing your lives with us. Happy Mothers Day Deb! God;s Blessings and healing grace.
So sorry for your loss. This was hard to watch at the end. Wanted to reach through the screen and give you a hug. We have most of your suggestions done. One thing we did was pick out our tombstone so we both could see what it would look like. 😊
Awh- thank you and huge hugs to you and Lou! Pick out your tombstone is very thoughtful and nice to do too. Joel’s parents have theirs done and on the burial site already.
We are so sorry for the loss of your father. Great tips, we know we need to get those things sorted out. Good to see your faces again and Maya... be safe in your travels.
Glad you were still able to have some good times during the past few months. Difficult time for sure, but this is a much needed reminder to prepare as best we can. Hugs to you both (and Maya too!) 💙 - Ashley
Thanks for sharing this information. You are in our thoughts and prayers as we know grief goes on for a long time. Watching this made me teary-eyed as mybown mom was in ICU while we were out on our last trip. I had to leave my husband with the rig and our dog and fly. One thing I do is keep a fabric carry-on and collapsible rolling duffle in the rig with my toiletries packed and ready to go just in case. Thankfully I still have my mom, but we know one of these days…
We are praying for your Mom. That is smart to have a go bag packed. It is one thing we all hope we don't have to deal with, but is something that might happen. Safe travels friends 🙏
Great information! Since my recent diagnosis Becky and I have done many of these things. I’m glad to see you guys back at it, but family always comes first.
Good to hear from you all again. We actually had delayed our full time RV life because of a family member dying & having to probate it all. We have a few items from your list we need to finalize. This was a good reminder that none of us are here forever. God is in control! God bless you.
We are so sorry for your loss and praying for you & dealing with probate. God has a plan, we might not understand it or like it, but have faith in him. 🙏
Love you guys! You can still have all the paperwork in place and have it changed if you move - important to have on hand and done! But so easy to procrastinate on
Oh my dear sweet friend Deb you brought me to tears. I am so glad you are both back and I am so very sorry for your loss. I am happy for your Dad as he is probably having a great time with your Momma now! Your tips were perfect and it is a very important subject and it is a conversation we all do need to have. Congratulations on the Podcast and with the Magazine Deb your Vlogs are amazing and your very good at putting articles together. I remember when you told me about the Rubber Chicken Gang love it sounds like fun! I wonder if I just saw someone with a reel or something on facebook talking about how to keep your rubber chicken clean! SO funny! A gang with a sense of humor will help keep things interesting and get ya through difficult times for sure! We love you guys and we look forward to seeing you out again exploring and sharing your good times! We can't wait to meet up! Thank you for sharing with everyone it was very thoughtful to take your difficult time and help others.
You are such a good friend and your support through this helped! We are grateful to have connected and can't wait to see you guys! This was a hard video to make and record, but want to help others and planning is key on this all. Thank you
Thanks 🙏 for sharing your experience with us and for sharing your family story. We appreciate your videos and the good times and memories you share with us all. We are heading up to Door County this weekend before the madness starts and in June we head to Waupaca for strawberry festival. Hope to catch up with you 3 sometime 🥰⛺️🍻🥂. Thanks From Wisconsin

@@ChasingOurSunshine The 4 of July we are going to New Jersey to see family in joy Door County look out for the crazy people. Hope to run into you soon 🍻🥂😊
Such an important topic. Sorry for y'all's loss. Great tips. I'm glad you both made it through the difficult time and are back doing what you love. Wishing you both safe travels and exciting adventures. I hope we get to meet sometime soon. Me and my better half are planning to begin full time life in March. I'm sure you both will understand that I'm looking forward to going 10-42 and hitting the road. Back The Blue!!! Be safe
We are so excited for you guys and going 10-42 is the best!! 🙌💙 We so hope our paths cross and we were on Lake Whitney in Texas for the solar eclipse. How close was that to you?
Just watched your video about coming to the Upper Peninsula. If you get to the eastern most part you should come to Drummond Island. We would love to meet up!
Rubber Chicken Gang?? LOL! Did not know this was a thing? Well, how do you find out about it then? Fun eclipse view. So sorry for the loss of your Father. Thank you for talking about this most difficult subject. -Michelle
So we fell into the gang with hanging out and boondocking with them several times during our Arizona travels. We met them through our friends Broken Dreams Reborn, Matthew & Shion. There are currently 23 RVs in the gang! 😂 🙌 - so fun! This wasn't an easy video to make, but felt it was an important topic to sit down and talk about. Thank you for your support & safe travels- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
Great tips! We have most of them covered but you reminded us a a few extras. Yup, a bit heavy but so necessary to cover this topic so everyone is as prepared as possible. I actually scanned all necessary important documents, warranties, manuals, dogs health history and vaccine proof and a spreadsheet of passwords all onto a jump drive and keep it in a fireproof safe in the camper. Yes, that safe is bolted down. Enjoy your summer! We have been exploring Sedona, Jerome, Cottonwood and Camp Verde area the last couple weeks. Again, so sorry for your loss. It's never easy but God's plan is the final word. 🙏 Share some fun stories about your dad! My favorite one about my dad is that he told my grandson, his great grandson, "life is short, eat dessert first!" Dad was about 90 when he said that. He ate treats every day and lived a bit past 95!
Life is short and why not dessert first! 😆 - sounds like you have been having some fun! Great point about having the fireproof safe too! Safe travels & thanks

@@ChasingOurSunshine yes. People just have to want to reach out to them
That is so true also! So people feel there is a weakness to them if they reach out or ask for help, and it is not the case.

@@joannedavis7346 Wow that's a long time for probate, glad it is over with! 🙏 Joel’s Mom is dealing with her Aunt’s estate and going on year 4.
