I believe Broken Armour, Hero of Tsushima, Mongol Commander, Fundoshi, Deadly Rival's Attire and Archery Master's Attire cannot be dyed.
@@snappythesnapster1856deadly rival and archery master are just alternate versions of other armor, and you can get a "fancy fundoshi" if you complete all the hot springs. There's also an alternate iki island type of armor for the mongol commander, but all the alternate stuff is available only in ng+

The Travellers Attire has always been a personal favorite. Really sells that wandering ronin vibe I strive for in this game. That combined with Ronin hat is perfection to me.
I love wearing the travellers attire with the damaged straw hat and the bandit mask. Looks super cool.
Traveler's attire is one of my default favorites alongside the kensei. I like pairing it with the blindfolds for the whole Zatoichi vibe!
Dude travelers attire with kensei hat is like straight up kung lao from MK. I played my entire game with that outfit lol

I used the Ghost armour with Ryuzos hat alongside a mask you get as a gift from a temple. Perfect combo of mysteriousness and fear
mine is ghost armor with ashen strawhat (from max upgraded ronin attire), looks super badass, all black

Over the game you get gifts that you collect at places such as the Golden Temple.
I didn't know this until stage 3, after you kill Ryuzo and your uncle betrays you. I liberated the temple in that snowy environment and collected the gifts. It's a red demon looking mask that covers your mouth.

@@brycenklinkowski5721Find yamato the musician in toyotama and listen to his mythical tale about gosaku. Then you'll get the quest of the unbreakable gosaku. Then just go to the farmsteads the musician tells you about and rescue the hostages. By doing that,You'll get a few keys that you need to unlock gosaku's armour

@@brycenklinkowski5721 you have to find a musician i dont remember where exactly so look it up and then you 'll have to liberate a few farmsteads across first two islands. It takes quite some time if you havent explored the map to be able to fast travel around easily.
Kensei OP
2nd stage Kensei armour ( black dye ) + Gyozen’s blindfold + Brutal Bandit mask + default sword kit is probably one of the hardest fits I’ve ever made in this game

Wearing it with the blindfold in Kurosawa mode is another level of badass

I used travelers attire in the entirety of the game with the broken hat when first met Ryozu. Since the bow really bothers me, and yes, that's the only reason why... its ability to hide the bow
Use the bomb or dart that way yu can hide it
There’s also an option in the display menu to hide the bow and quiver
Kensei armor also does that and it’s way cooler
Get the Iki island expansion with the directors cut
you can toggle the bow and quiver in setting
Second stage Ghost Armor is just the coolest to me with the mask
I love that the Sakai helmet is basically a lore accurate Robert Baratheon helmet
I wore a red-white Ronin attire for the vibes for the entire game with matching headbands. As soon as I got the Sakai clan armour I dyed it pitch black for the no mercy vibes! It really changed the tone and everything for me as I went from calm and (mostly) honourable to dark and sneaky hehe
The Easter egg dyes just make these so much better.
For those who dont know, thats the final upgrade of that armor, there are 3 levels...

Imo nothing beats the lvl1 dlc super parry armor, with a red headband and the red hellhound mask. Straight up demon samurai attire with the red bow shown as well *Chefs kiss*

I’m surprised nobody ever seems to mention Sarugami, it’s amazing for aggressive players and also is very good for duels
I also liked that very much, one proper defense and your opponent dies in 3 attacks

The scarlet dye for the samurai clan armor is hands down THE best looking set in the game
Hope Suckerpunch makes another game that connects Ghost of Tsushima and made Jin as one of the Mythic Tales, a Rogue Samurai who struck fear and nightmares to the Mongols
Gosaku with the red dye is absolutely God tier.
God now i wanna play GoT again, run the Fundoshi set with the Komuso Mask and call myself Let Me Solo Her

The Tadayori armor with the Spider Lily design became my favorite armor in the game.
That is one of the best games I had ever played.
Big fan of the samurai clan armor, not too flashy, the early levels look great with the sleeves rolled up and everything, makes jin look like he grabbed some armor and ran out the door to kick some ass as fast as he could
Idc what nobody say; that Hero of Tsushima, the Gosaku & The Kensei armors just hit different to me

My personal favourites are colossus armor from iki island and white dyed fully upgraded kensei armor ... The latter i used to wear with the headband of ruin ... That hits hard 🔥

Just cant wait for the 2nd game! This game was just a fresh reminder how a solid single player game with decent gameplay can do well. The story, music, acting, graphics and gameplay were all in my opinion 10 out of 10.. they released a decent DLC and NG+ which ive played and unlocked everything.
I would say NG+ doesnt let you replay the opening chapter which is a shame. But just create a new game to experience that then NG+.and pick up where you want
Most of my playthrough I played with Traveler's attire unless it's anything related to huge battles, to which I wear Samurai Clan armour and Clan Sakai armour during Castle Shimura.
Once I get the Ghost armour I played with it from until the end of the game.

i've never really tried testing builds in the game until almost the end of act 2 when i tried using guard break talismans and damage increase with Gosaku's armor, it was crazy, i basically break everybody guards with one attack and killed her with another
