- This classic Negroni cocktail packs a bite and is just about perfect for sipping. Hints for orange and botanicals lie within that jewel-like Campari filled liquid. I think it's a great sipping drink, making it one of the great summer cocktails; no one is chugging these down! Let me know if there are any drinks you'd like me to make. WHAT DOES A NEGRONI TASTE LIKE?
This classic Negroni has an exhilarating and refreshingly bitter taste that some will love and others will definitely not! I enjoy them as something of a palate cleanser but I have friends who always request these. A flamed orange peel adds even more depth of flavor while also providing a cool party trick.

Back in the 1960s Campari had the advertising campaign 'One in 10,000 prefers Campari'. That spurred me to try it when I was old enough to drink--and I've always liked it in moderate amounts!

I found for me when I flame my orange peels I hold them the opposite way than you did and it works well. Flaming the peel makes your drinks taste amazing! Love your channel!

I love that you are using a lot of ingredients in different ways. I have vermouth and gin from your other drink recipe videos, so it is easy to try something new. Going out and buying all the ingredients at once can be cost prohibitive. Thank you.

One of my favourite drinks and not just because of the high alcohol content. Whats interesting is the regional variances. I've had these in Rome, Paris, Venice and Barcelona and in the carribean Each has some quirk that they then call a "traditional or Original negroni"
In Barcelona they used Triple Sec / Cointreau and I've had one in Paris that used Grand Marnier in addition to the campari and Gin
They all tasted great. I guess it is better suited to people with a preference for bitter tastes, so basically to the kind of people who will go for a Long Island Iced Tea
