Hi mate I hope you are well Yes these are great and great price too they may be an issue with foil lining down the line. Am looking forward to beavertail soon. Am sure you would be able to do a better video of them. Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting Keep safe ARP

Hi Adi, many thanks for your review on these really nice coaches. But I like large rakes of around ten off them, so I am looking at £700 for that ! Unless I see them in a special sale price, it’s not going to happen. Regards from Ron 🚂👍😃🚂
@@RonCooper-nl4pn hi Ron I hope you are well Yes if you want the full set and beavertail as well it not cheap maybe wait for them to go in sale in 6 months or so. Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
@@AdiPullen Hi Adi, some how I don’t think that will happen, I believe that some of these pair sets are in short supply already ! I’m not too disappointed as you know I do specialise in ‘O’ gauge, I do have a few of them on preorder due to arrive soon. Regards from Ron 🚂👍😃🚂
Very good review of a cool set of coaches, a few months ago Hornby released pictures of the observation car for these coaches, the interior was absolutely amazing, my question is why didn’t the interior theme flow into these coaches? As usual Hornby tease you with what could be but don’t follow through, if you were lucky enough to own the Revolution Trains Caroline coach you will judge other coaches on the level of detail you can get on a model, if Revolution Trains produced these coaches they would be on another level in my opinion and the price would reflect this, these coaches look very nice but they could be so much better for what they represent, thanks for sharing.
Hi mate I hope you are well Ive got the Observation coach on pre order should be in uk on 19th so ive heard. I just wish i could get the shell off these too look inside Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
@@AdiPullen Hi, you are very welcome, to be fair these coaches look very nice indeed, it would have been so much better with controllable lighting for the price, table top lighting would have been a nice addition in my opinion, I don’t believe any other manufacturers will produce these coaches for the foreseeable future.
They do look very smart coaches and it does seem that Hornby have put some thought into the connection in between them, it looks very easy to do and works well and also good job on the bearing pickups rather than wiper like the APT. The finish is very nice with the chrome foil lining and detail, I wonder how long before we start to see complaints about it coming off in despite Hornby's warning about handling care. Another worry is how this finish will react to temperature variances for people in lofts and sheds etc, I have seen plating on some models fade over the years in such environments. They are not cheap though so building a full train will be a massive outlay. Good review, take care cheers Rob
Hi Robin I hope you are well Yes i fully agree with you on foil. The pick up is great so free rolling Sorry i could not get into the coaches them self. Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
Very beautiful models. And the interior is fantastic! I like the white rings on the wheels. I have a question: some UK coaches or wagons have white circles on the wheels, others don't. Why is that?

@@AdiPullen I have the same problem with the Hornby 4-wheel teak coaches. I would like to add passengers, but it seems difficult or impossible to open them. And given their price tag, a bit daunting too...
Hi. Thanks for the video. Would love some but will wait they hit the sales. Did the loco 9F slow down on the corners. Was that due to the loco having poor torque or coach drag? Didn’t particularly notice it when the LNER loco pulled it. Cheers. Dave
Hi Dave I hope you are well The 9f was on a super speed like 13 on my gauge master conbi controller. Ive had no issues with new tooled 9f Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
Smashing review Adi, these coaches are INSANE! Hornby really knocked it out of the park with these. I’m so impressed. I really want to get some now 😅
