An other thing, at first I wanted to put anomaly disk set on Anomaly characters but ... for her, "normal" electric dps set seem to be better (from theorycrafter math). It surprise me. I feel content creators are just parroting each other, I’ve heard ‘don’t bother with the ultimate’ so many times now, when it’s not even called ‘ultimate’ in the stat screen. The main title is ‘Chain attack’, and only somewhere below does it say ultimate. If you take two seconds to read the description and check the corresponding stats, it’s clear that most supports and stun units profit from this as well.
Dont Chain Attacks trigger on hitting a stunned enemy? Why would the daze multiplier matter in that case? ASFAIK you cant build stun meter on a stunned target.

Correction on Shiyu Defense Crit nodes, it's 120 Polychromes per stage (840 overall= 5.25 pulls) assuming you can score an S Rating, which is unlikely if you're under PL40 or a whale lol so yeah, not missing that much anyway. I'd rather set a goal and pull a character + sig engine + 1 or 2 cinema if it's worth, that way I can easily crush critical nodes for stable polychrome farming rather than pulling every agent with mediocre rewards
lol, just hit IK 40 today. Was an enjoyable ride so far. Taking it slow and casually. Got two teams somewhere between lvl 40 and 50 and like to slowly progress. Still some story and lots of missions left. I am so happy I did not rush the game and go sweaty. I think my days of tryharding games are not over, but tryharding in a gacha game will always bring people suffering because either you will actively have to block a daily part of your life for the game or you spend. As a casual experience this game is great, though.
leveling ultimate helps chain attack damage, too. The Trial no.8 is pretty good to complete because it gives you a 4 pieces of S rank pecker electro for your dps, so you can level the flat atk piece to 15 and get alot of power for the meanwhile. I wouldnt prefarm materials for a character that isn't out yet - it is quite common that hoyo will add a new item to farm for those characters especially if new areas are unlocked, maybe not for the next few characters but later down the road for sure it will happen someone will prefarm for a new character and then those materials won't be used
Leveling your skills will actually depend on the mindscape level of the character. Example: i have soukaku m6p5 and have her skills at 11. You dont need purple skill items until then with m6. At m0, you can only go to level 7.
At level 40 you start being able to get purple materials as straight-up drops. It's a huge increase in stamina efficiency and it means that farming for promotion, w-engine, or skill materials takes waaaay less stamina after level 40 instead of before. I'd rather spend 35-40 on farming discs or basic materials because those don't get such big efficiency boosts at hitting level 40. If you don't want to deal with drive disc RNG, just prefarm basic materials before 40 - especially drive disc exp. Save some ether batteries for after 40 to push all the promotion materials. It is incredibly painful to burn stamina on just getting blue drops when you could wait and start getting purple ones. At some point, you need to farm drive discs anyway - I think it's worth farming a bit between 35 and 40 because any main stat gold drive disc will be a big boost to your characters even if all the substats rolls are bad.
I agree with this comment. 35-40 we farm discs since the next tier to farm them is at lv45, then farm character materials at lv40. By the time we get to lv45 our characters should be levelled up by now, then we go back to farming discs and mats for future characters.
@@nolifeSnorlaxYou will still cycle it into the Disk Tuning anyways, so it's not a big of a waste as you're making it. IK 35+ to 40 bottleneck is almost always Disk Drives since at this point you'll max out Levels, W Engines, Skills on your main team. If you do 2 team just to force SD, then you will need to properly manage your resources because the resource spike at IK40 is huge, but at that point the most efficient farm is Level, W Engine, Skills as usual.

The problem is if you're using your stun unit to ult, your DPS is not getting to ult. Better to stay on the stun unit and build up daze through basic/skill combos. Maybe if you're running a stun in a disorder team?
as a lvl 37 f2p and 2k exp away from 38 im using this chance to farm my all 2 teams talents to lvl 7 before knot 40. its not a bad route since theres not much important things to farm for me at the moment. When i reach 40 i will farm the materials i need and prefarm until level 45 then farm discs

I’m level 39 will be 40 by tomorrow or Monday. I did absolutely all side content though like the pewpew missions, gathered the HIA coins, character stories, etc. You get a ton of hidden side quests from speaking with the NPCs so after every time change I go to each zone and speak with each NPC.

Where should I use my battery on tho? obviously HIA but which mission would u recommend to get the most XP? I haven't checked if normal mission give any XP yet whenever I do them I just mash on the reward screen and before doing it on the reward pool doesn't show XP at all? Been doing the expert one so far farming for Ellen's key component. For 2nd dps like I said in another comment is Anton but m going to drop him 100% he is not great... so m debating either raise Corin or w8 for ZhuYuan in which case like u point out in the video I would need to start raising Nicole (she is 10atm lol)

100% your choice. Do you care about Disk Drive endgame farm? Save. Do you just wanna clear content right now comfortably? Just spend them. At the end of the day, you'll reach the point where the only thing you can improve is your RNG with Disk Drives.
It doesn’t matter when you use them. If you use them right away you will get to level 40 a few days early where you can farm more and better materials. If you hold them it will take you longer to get to level 40 where you are still farming lower tier mats, but then you can get them afterwards. If you front load or backload the battery use the end result is the same.
@dankwolf442 thank you all for your input. My main thought to using them before max account level is that I will benefit from the xp you get from them. Rather, if I wait til the end then I am "losing that xp." I realize that from a farming standpoint is basically equals out.

1:10 I was legit having serious FOMO got to lvl 10 of SD and having such hard time to clear 10 that started debating myself to build a 3rd team just to clear that crap cos my 2nd team (Grace/Anton) is not working out... I need Ellen for the first boss cos Grace and Anton while on paper they should be ideal for that stupid boss they just lack DPS even tho I have 'm both at 40. That being said if I were to be 50 I would clear that crap ez. Also the only other DPS I have beside Anton and Ellen is Corin which is the one I was thinking on raising.

There is no reason to farm discs pre level 40. No content you will do pre 40 requires you to have discs.
Reroll for disc is a nightmare that take forever. Level the guarantee stuff first

Stun units have really high daze multipliers in their ult too btw. Something to consider in comps that rely heavily on breaking.

I'm grinding on basic material and agent promotion stuff, so I can get an abundance of stuff to level up my characters.

2 out 6 cinema bonus, gave +2 skill level. So if you had lvl 7 it will auto upgraded to lvl 11.

Piper is very underrated btw , i use grace piper lucy and then play disorder, piper anomaly buildup is crazy fast(1ex special)
unless you have Rina for triple Elec, Anton wouldn't be as good as they say. it's better to go Piper Lucy Grace for the nuke disorder

35 is chance of gold. level 4 is guaranteed gold, that comes at 40 or 45
@AlIguana At 35 you unlock level 40 mobs that drop guaranteed gold and 1.5 on average. At 45 you unlock level 50 mobs that drop 2 on average.
I've done 8 since I hit 35 and got 12 golds. Good base with minimum chance of overlap. Then I went back to grinding core4 mats and preleveling a bit.

Just a heads up when you turn your CDs into fodder/scrap them, you get about 80% return from materials. It's pretty good actually.
