    For those who want to know here are the commands for some of the moves in the video:
    Nicole Hidden Move : 360 motion on your movement buttons or stick, while holding the skill button - or hold for a short time with the 360 motion to get the sit portion of the skill
    Ellen Quick Dash - Support character (skill, ult, or chain) -> switch button -> hold any direction -> hold atk

    • @hurricaneb6243

      What a non-argument for ZZZ. Controls are simple, and executing these aren't complicated by any means, especially compared to other genres (fighting games, MMORPG). Understanding how these techs improve your gameplay, learning to execute, and knowing when utilize, that gives it depth. Shallow is if you mash buttons and get very similar outcome.
      Point is, if you mash, you may see some flashy moves and beat the enemy in 10 mins, and if you enjoy that, good for you. If you master the tech, you're gonna keep cutting that time in half (the multipliers for good setups and correct rotations are insane), and I believe you'll have a much more enjoyable time.
      Lastly, I would appreciate if you can make your criticism more concrete. Your comment feels like my essays when I was in HS, when I didn't know the answer, so I just say random stuff about the topic. You seem to be implying that ZZZ has no depth, but that's about it.

      The difference is that DMC has a *lot* of moves and complex mechanical depth to work with right off the bat and it's all player-agency based. ZZZ is really homogenized and rewards you way too much for perfect dodge/parry QTE mechanics, which can make the combat flow feel a bit like EVERYONE is playing Royal Guard all the time.
      I think ZZZ's combat is better than people think once the game gets tougher, especially when you can switch characters at any time in order to reduce the delay of animations, which is really fun and unique. But it feels sometimes like you have to fight against the game's mechanics to do anything really expressive with the combat.

Like each character has one thing unique to them when these other games let you swap to more and less complex characters/weapons with a ton of unique moves and combos. I mean just as fact the complexity of other games in its same type just have way more. If we compare to other hoyoverse games yeah okay it has a little more. Good to see a lot of people sharing tips! Here's one for Soldier 11 if you guys don't know already:
    Using her EX skill and Ultimate gives Soldier 11 10-15 seconds/8 attacks that are buffed by Fire Suppression. If you're able to link her into tag-ins, build energy well and utilize her EX skill and ultimate during the DPS window, you can bypass the timing requirement for her basic attacks and maximize Fire Suppression.
    We're just a week in and I'm excited to see what else the game has to offer. While I'm all for defending what it could be, constructive feedback is good too. Adding more HP to enemies on later stages and taking x amount of minutes more to beat them with the same pattern is hardly depth, and I hope there's more to it than that.

Koleda and Ben have high impact and buffs, they are more then enough support and they have a mechanic together. If you tap skill while she do the attack that he appears and she steps on his pillar, tou trigger a chain attack like if the enemy was stunnned already. This is huge!

    0:20 PPL just need to realize that reaction-focused combat rather than strategy-focussed combat is a thing, lol. Personally, this is exactly my cuppa tea. Just like the competitors, there still IS strategy involved, but unlike it's competitors, strategy is the SECONDARY factor and quick reflexes are the PRIMARY factor. At least it feels that way to me - and it feels good!

    • @superpnutbutter8608
      @superpnutbutter8608 6 дней назад

      First of all, this is an action game, not a reaction game, you act. I just spammed left clicks, and waiting for things to happen. Even Wuthering Waves got this right, even tho it's mostly just cool animation, but cool things happen because you do it instead of handing it to the player like ZZZ.
      And the game's reaction also fail to be fun. I have a slow .25 second reaction time, but I never have any difficulty performing "perfect" dodge/counter, I even got a hard time understanding it because it's nowhere near perfect timing.
      Look at "reaction-focused" games like DMC, or Bayonetta (which in reality, it just requires quick reaction time; in another word reaction is just one part of the gameplay) these two games have high mobility, and freedom of expression. The dev offers you to play the game however you want, because you have more than one answer to every scenarios. You might want to group enemies up to perform an AOE attack, crowd control to keep positional advantage, separating an enemy from the group to deal a slow but high damaging move, etc. You act to get what you want, it's action game. Reaction is just a counter measurement when the enemies try to oppose you from what you want. This is still true in Elden Ring, and Sekiro. You don't want to get hit, or lose your position; you don't want to increase your stance guage, and lose enemy's.

    • @awakenedcrowl
      @awakenedcrowl 6 дней назад

      @@superpnutbutter8608 "This is an action game, not a reaction game" I have no clue where you got the definitions for those two, I have no idea if that separation is even a real thing, but I really think it hardly matters. The game still has quite a focus on reaction times, even if there are "only" three main mechanics that you can respond to reaction checks with. And the timing being too forgiving in your opinion really doesn't change that. Whether it actually fits some kind of definition someone once made doesn't really matter to ME. I find ZZZ's timing for reactions and execution of it's "counters" just tight and fluid enough to be fun.
      "And the games reaction also fails to be fun" Well, that's just your opinion. Which is totally fine. For me, it is fun.
      "I even got a hard time understanding it..." That one I can actually agree with you. You'd think the flash on their animation indicates when to dodge/swap, but sometimes the flash actually comes way before the actual moment. You rather need to look for when the attack actually physically connects. The game could definitely do a better job with placing these flashes, they are certainly confusing.
      As for you upbringing Bayonetta and DMC... I'll be perfectly honest, these games never appealed to me at all. I tried them shortly. To me, they feel the furthest from "reaction-based" but rather just "hack'n slash build-a-combo". I'll fully admit, that might just be because I didn't GET those games. But if there really is a lot of reaction-focus in there... it's not executed in a way that I enjoy. Unlike ZZZ.

    • @superpnutbutter8608
      @superpnutbutter8608 6 дней назад

      @@awakenedcrowl On how I confused about perfect timing mechanic, I didn't confuse because it's complicated/ hard to understand/ or inconsistent, but rather I'm not used to it. I'm used to 0.1, or 0.032 being perfect timing, but I can get "perfect" dodge here with sloppy 1 second timing is hard to wrap my head around. And it's not my opinion that the timing is generous; average human reaction speed is ~0.210 second (that's why I consider my 250 ms slow), compare that to 1 second perfect parry window of ZZZ.
      Calling DMC, or Bayonetta build-a-combo games is literally just a very surface understanding of these game. And yes, the game require fast reaction time, it's a huge part that the game director said you can't play the game without it. And judging from the fact that you said ZZZ timing is tight, it's likely the skill issue that took a huge role why you don't like the game. There's nothing wrong with it, and don't read this in sarcastic tone.
      And yes, you need to act in an action game, that's the basic psychology. You acts a certain thing, brain it gives positive feedback, you want to do it more, therefore you are rewarded for your action. I can honestly see ZZZ being fun if the timing is tight, and it require me to constantly performing perfect parry/dodge. That in itself is an action, because you're actively looking for the opportunity do perform a perfect timing dodge/parry. I love to let the some enemy attack (high active frame like laser, or bear attacks, raining arrow thing) so I can abuse that to deal a high counter attack damage to another enemy in Wuthering Waves. In fighting game, I play a playstyle called "lame" which is pressuring opponent with spacing, and punish them when they make a slightest of mistake, it may looks passive, but I actively pressuring them to make a mistake. So there's no such a thing as reaction game (for being the evil twin of action game), reaction is just a smaller picture of it.

      @@superpnutbutter8608 I never wrote that you were confused about the timing.
      I never wrote that your "opinion" was about the timing being easy. Your opinion was that "ZZZ fails to be fun". Which is a purely subjective statement. AKA an opinion. Proof: It's fun for me. (and obviously many others)
      I explicitly admitted that my understanding of DMC and Bayonetta is indeed surface level. And I never called ZZZ's timing tight. I just wrote it felt "tight enough" for me. As in: yeah, it's not tight, but I don't care cause it still feels satisfying to me.
      And get off my ass with "skill issue". As I explained, even beyond that matter, I just felt those games (DMC and Bayonetta) aren't for me. I never even died when I did play them, or struggled to proceed. It just didn't click with me. The gameplay, the narrative and especially the setting.
      Normally, internet people tend to give me the feeling that they didn't read my comment. But you instead give me the feeling that you DID read it and either somehow misremembered everything I wrote once you started typing your reply - or you just didn't give a sh*t xD
      At least I can agree with your final part and then again admit that I understood you wrong on that one.

    I knew it was something deeper than I expected when Anby and Solider 11 played like fighting game characters. When you had to time their hits; by going of the visual and audio ques for Anby's electrical damage or by getting getting into a rhythm with Solider 11 so you can get the extra fire damage. Then there was the alternative attacks with Nicole for instance. 'It's shallow!' usually means that 'I never played long enough to play a character demo' or unlock the VR space that teaches you the nuances of each character.

    Anyone playing Ben + Koleda has probably already worked out that the same swap-tech present in WuW is also in ZZZ. Swap off Ben of when he's in the middle of a long animation and he keeps doing his thing while you pile on the damage and daze with another character.
    The combined attack sequence of Koleda + Ben is also super useful since it lets you avoid burning a Perfect Assist to avoid damage.

    Currently level 22 here. First minute into the video and I couldn't help but scream that I knew I wasn't crazy when I found myself doing juggles on enemies here and there. Also found out that quick assists can trigger from certain attacks on accident, but a big part of even knowing it's possible is simply paying attention to what's on your hud. If anything the early parts of the game being easier is one of the best times to look out for this stuff. Already had a feeling the early difficulty wouldn't be that hot when it's another gacha game (a pretty high quality one that's not just mobile, but a gacha either way), but there's some love put into this. The fact something like this has a decent training mode (or one at all) amazes me in the best way possible!
    Also, now that I know there are also secret command moves I have even more reason to lab random bullshit... the best kind of bullshit!

    You know when I started playing ZZZ I immediately go experimental on combat. Turns out I was happy to do that lmao. Because they said ZZZ were more like fighting games. So I tried to do random combos and sees what happens. Using my DMC, MGR and PGR logic to see how it works. I found out despite the tutorials are making it simple. It’s actually quite high skill ceiling when you try to make combos. I’m actually mind blown that this is literally much better than I expected when I read about the comments on ZZZ. Now I’m having a blast with it. But I had to say. I have so much fun trying to make combos and experiments with loadouts. You know making me felt like I have to explore by myself to get what I have to. Instead let the tutorial do it for you. Reminds me of TF2 in a way where there’s a “tutorial” it is just basics and simple things. But the depth of the TF2 gameplay is literally through the roof. I had that vibe in ZZZ. Sure story is alright and a bit light hearted compared to other Hoyo games. But atleast they have better comedy than Genshin. But, they do have like 90% of characters that people will get hooked on and being fan fav. Like Billy or Nicole. The 2 Starters, where you felt more attach to those guys than other starter in other Hoyoverse Games.
    Glad to see more and more people found secret moves or combos. Which basically a good positive shine for the game.

      Because it’s too easy. Genshin does a horrible job at this too, but the enemies at early stages actually do punish you for playing poorly. Hydro abyss mage and Mitichurls are no joke lol.
      Before level 27, the game doesn’t do a good job at helping you learn anything since enemies don’t attack frequent enough nor do enough damage to warrant it.
      It’s only until level ~27 that we realize that certain boss attacks require dodging over parrying and vice versa.
      They need to up the attack frequency and damage just a bit in the early stages and introduce the extra boss movesets earlier. Doesn’t have to be hard, but it should be slightly punishing.

It does the same number of hits as the standard hold skill, but it’s delayed so you can time it with other big damage skills that may travel slower, like Rina Ult.
