I really hope that not all his songs are all religious to the same extent as this. His songs and voice would appeal to much larger audience than just those that are fanatically religious, but not if each and every song is just about God.
FYI He's a Christian singer, therefore he chose to sing about God, so it's up to him weather how much of God he put's in each song. I personally love this type of music, Huge christian music fan! I know so many artist's out there like Jeremy Camp, Britt Nicole, Mandisa, Downhere, Aaron Shust, Switchfoot, For King & County, Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Disciple, Anthem Lights, Francesca Battistelli, Josh Wilson, KJ-52, Group 1 Crew, Lecrae ( Best christian rapper ever) etc. You see the point... They are all singing about God in some sort of way, or relating to real subjects that touch us most, not about guys vs. girls, and who's dating who etc. Understand? That is one of the best things aboout Colton Dixon, because yes, he would have much more fans if he didn't sing just Christian music,but he is so cool and loves God so much that he doesn't care how famous he is what he really wants is to worship God. And I personaly think it is really cool that he has been faithful about just singing Christian music. :)
