Me three. I was driving home from visiting my mom and little brother a few hours ago. I was telling them about how God is moving in my life so much this past week and how he has really showed me himself in a big way for me to completely devote my life to God. This song came on the radio and I nearly had to pull over I was crying so hard out of joy. I was born into a Christian family being taught about God and Jesus all my life but I been running my entire life from God because I wanted to do what I wanted to do. God let me go do what I wanted but he was always there pulling at me to come back. Then the other night he spoke to me and I was lead to watch a random sermon that was in the suggestions that just so happened to make everything I was going through clear. It's just like the song. "Now the light are on, see I was never gone." Tears are coming to my eyes again just typing this. God is so amazing! His plan so perfect. I've been a fan of Colton Dixon since the first time he appeared on American Idol and didn't make it to the live performances. Then, he came back not to audition but to offer support for his sister.. although thank goodness the judges forced him to audition! He has been such an inspiration to me and my faith. Today, full of sadness and depression, I started to realize how lost I was feeling. So I took my notebook and started writing to God about how lost I was feeling and how much I felt I was far away from him... I was writing him about how much I wanted him to let me come back to him and suddenly I realized this song was playing. It felt like if he was responding me and well, thanks Colton, it gave me the strength I needed to realize that he is always with us even when we do not want to notice his love.

I starting crying at work. I know God will never leave me nor forsake me Hebrews 13:5 but sometimes we just need to be reminded that he's always there when we sin, when we cry and are hurting, even in our happy moments God is always with us because he is in us. (Galatians 2:20)

I've been a fan of Colton Dixon since the first time he appeared on American Idol and didn't make it to the live performances. Then, he came back not to audition but to offer support for his sister.. although thank goodness the judges forced him to audition! He has been such an inspiration to me and my faith. I finally got to see him perform live and I cried the whole time! Thank you Colton for the music you put out that inspires more and more people each day! You are a messenger and inspired me to be one as well. I never leave my house without my Colton cross necklace. :)
All followers of Christ need to listen to this song. It gives people hope. It lets them know God will always have our backs and that we need to trust him because he knows the paths we shall take and he will guide through dark and light, evil and good.

OH MY WORD GUYS 😣 just today I made the connection that the father and the son is representative of us and God. We are the prodigal that runs away; we reject God's light (His provision of His word and talking to Him through prayer). Obviously, God does not get sick or old or pass away- that part is representative of us coming back to God completely forgiven, and yet still with the consequences and mourning of all of our wasted and lost time away from Him.

I love the end of this video where the son finally comes to visit His Father and after all these years, the dad opens his palm and gives him the light he was trying to give him in the past. It reminds me of our Father's (God"s) love for us. Today, full of sadness and depression, I started to realize how lost I was feeling. So I took my notebook and started writing to God about how lost I was feeling and how much I felt I was far away from him... I was writing him about how much I wanted him to let me come back to him and suddenly I realized this song was playing. It felt like if he was responding me and well, thanks Colton, it gave me the strength I needed to realize that he is always with us even when we do not want to notice his love.

There was a day this year where I wasn't really in a great place, then I listened to this song on my phone and just broke down. Sat in the bathroom repeating it over and over again, especially the part where he says "Jesus Never Ever Left You"

Right now, what I'm going through makes it hard to believe that Jesus will always forgive me sometimes, but things like this help me realize that He was never gone, and never will be. Because my father died this december 23 2019 ... And I see meself as that son ... Because when my father died that is when I realized that he had been a great father for me and I ... had a Theroputic horse throw me off last year, my confidence, independence, and self esteem fell, I’m scared of horses amd I fear that I failed God. I am a miracle child and defined all odds . This song came to mind just now. I think God is trying to tell me something. I might have ptsd because of my accident. Relationships fell afterwards as well.
