He wrote this song for me. It was back in blind river in 1962 when he last saw me alive. I was there with Trev Motlow, Tom Anderson, Scott Frankland, Michael W. Fisher and Neil. Oh what a night we all had...LONG MAY YOU RUN!
grear photos. There is a Neil book somewhere that was full of fantastic photos. I lent it to a couple of 'people' who were so called Neil fanatics. Needless to say when i asked for the book back it was nowhere to be found. I've never spoken to them since and never will. Thankyou, nicely done.
Thank You NEIL, for sharing all the music and thoughts that have run through your mind. Hope your new project ('59 Lincoln) is a hugh success.May it have a long run also!
I always wondered if Neil's first hearse was still sitting in the Blind River Garage yard where he abandoned it in the 60's. Then I met a woman who told me her (now ex) husband in Thunder Bay bought it & fixed it up at one time. He was a drug dealer & drove it around town for two years doing drug deals, then traded it to someone as part of a drug deal. It's now sitting in a back alley behind someone's house in Thunder Bay. I wish there was some way to communicate this to Neil.
Excellent - good taste of images.
Nice video. Thanks

SWEETE NEIL :-)
A minor point but, "Long May You Run," was an elegy for Neil Young's 1948 Buick Roadmaster hearse, his first car. Nice tribute.
