This Story has some of the Best music A lot of which get's Re-used in Attack of the Cybermen. If Some of the Tracks Repeat its Because this video contains Every Instance of Music in the Story, Which the length of that Particular Piece can vary As well.
What do you think of the Music in this story? I would be interested to see your thoughts on it in the comments.

Show me the Doctor Who scores that exceed this in tension, weight, imagination, grim foreshadowing of the inevitable, and crushing, understated pay-off. 40+ years later, and Malcolm Clarke's score still gets better each time I hear it. The endless subtlety of colour variations he extracts in what is actually a very bleak palette continues to impress. The geek in me hungers for a gear list - I'm particularly interested in the FM-synthesis and sample-playback he is using.
Very well put and I totally agree. I think this is my favourite soundtrack of the entire classic series and it's hard to find a score that perfectly matches and embellishes the visuals as much as this one. I don't know how long it took Malcolm Clarke to produce this work, but it seems to me that he was really inspired by the episodes and must have put a huge amount of work into the music. I also like the fact that he didn't use lots of obvious 80s synth sounds like so many of his contemporaries were doing - he really pushed the palette much further to incredible, unsettling effect. It really is an electronic masterpiece,
It's hard to fault this story's music, and I think it's my favourite from the entire series. It's astonishing to me the director originally tried to get it replaced. Malcolm Clarke just knocked it out of the park, his ability to put sounds to emotions and do it with nods to the Dr Who theme, Adric's theme and even classical music was incredible. Thanks for posting.
I think Peter Grimwade was a great director but I can only surmise that incidental music was a bit of a blindspot for him. Malcolm Clarke delivered an incredibly atmospheric score and for some reason he didn't appreciate it. I'm just glad anyway that it was never replaced.
25:02 has got to be my fave...
"So... We meet again. Doctor!"
20:26: Eight Cybermen march between the silos.
RINGWAY [OC]: There's something on the move.
BRIGGS: I can't see anything yet.
(Then the Cybermen appear on the screen.)
BRIGGS: Are these your friends?
DOCTOR: Definitely not.
ADRIC: What are they?
DOCTOR: Cybermen!
Should have used it in the 2005 Doctor Whos
3:05. Love that little rendition of the Doctor's motif.
Thanks a million for uploading this, I've been listening to it non-stop for days! I can't work out why this still hasn't been released as an audio soundtrack as in my opinion it's the very best score of the Classic series.
35:15 These parts do a great job of making you feel uneasy.
bless you - I was hit with the mood to find this today!
Your welcome?
I own some of the DVDs from the original Doctor Who series, and they’re one of the few sets I own that have a music only soundtrack. Earthshock was one of my favorite Cybermen stories from Doctor Who’s original run and the music in this story is downright creepy.
I say this story is in the top 5 best of classic series.
pure genius
"Prepare to activate The Device."

Awesome video in trillions of ways and well made.
excellent
Damn, beat me to it!
37:16 Is this the only time this little motif is used? It reminds me so much of some of Segun Akinola's soundtrack, e.g. Sonic Screwdriver and My Beautiful Ghost Monument from 'series 11', they both have melodies very similar to this. (At least to my untrained ears.)
Yeah it's Adrics theme from Full Circle, That pretty much the only time we hear it apart from in earthshock. Although I think there is a little variation of it at the start of State of Decay. In this the other time you hear it is at 1:37
3:31 bone music
That's 3:31
