Im so impressed with your ability to match some of these super specific ones 🪀
It was a challenge 😂
Sapphic fantasy romance with warrior FMC -- Faebound by Saara El-Arifi
Mentor/Mentee - The Witch Collector by Charissa Weaks
Thank you so much for the recommendations for mine-I’m off to go get my hands on both of those Darcy Coates books. I haven’t read any Darcy yet and this seems like the perfect nudge to start!!
I also got tons of other ones more on my radar based on some of the other recommendations-fun and helpful video 😊
YES DARCY. Yay! I’m so glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for the recs!I will definitely be checking out the tethered mage and The emperor's blades!!
You’re welcome. I hope you enjoy!
I love how intensely specific some of these were hahahaha. Also, I will take this as my cue again to hurry up and get back to Fireborne!!
YES FIREBORNE
Great recommendations. Thanks!!!
Glad you liked it!
Such a great video! Definitely added a few new books to my TBR :)
So glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for the recs! 😊
Of course. I hope they work out!
Great recs! I feel like another one with a good ghost would be The Haunting of Gillespie House.
True! Darcy for the win
First thing that came to mind for mentor/mentee was Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent.
That’s a good one.
For the person asking for "adult epic fantasy with a political driven story and romance (little to no spice)", I'd warmly recommend Rook & Rose series by M.A. Carrick. It is very much a political fantasy with focus on relationships between characters (be it familial, friendly or romantic). The romance is also quite a slow burn 💖 and there are multiple possible romantic relationships to root for.
I'm currently reading the second book in the series and loving every second of it ☺
This is a good recommendation!
@@MelLenoreReads Thanks! I hope that the person loves it as much as I do (and I truly am loving every second of it), if they decide to pick it up ☺
Thanks a ton for so many recommendations. I'm so excited to start them all.
I hope you enjoy!
I already wanted to read Fireborne, but hearing you pitch it with that specific request has definitely moved it up on my list
AHHHH YES YES
I’ve got a few queer sapphic romance books that are mostly fantasy for you. I know you were looking for some so I hope you like these. Let me know which ones interest you and if you plan to read any of them. Here are the books: Queen of Coin and Whispers by Helen Corcoran, The Dark Tide by Alicia Jasinska, The Unspoken Name by A. K. Larkwood, The Weight of the Stars by K. Ancrum, A Dark and Hollow Star by Ashley Shuttleworth, The Stars We Steal by Alexa Donne, Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh, The Scapegracers by Hannah Abigail Clarke, The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling, Thorn by Anna Burke, The Fire’s Stone by Tanya Huff, The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo, and Night Shine by Tessa Gratton. These are all sapphic romance books that I hope you like.
Thank you for the recommendations!
@@MelLenoreReads you’re welcome! Had you heard of any of these or read any of them?
Wow, thats a lot! Ive only heard of alicia jasinska. How many of these are NA or adult fantasy? I unfortunately have been reading a lot of fantasy that says adult but is actually YA (like The Stardust Theif).
@@strawberrylime33The Empress of Salt and fortune, the luminous dead, and silver in the wood, are all adult books. The rest I mentioned I believe are YA. I could not find an answer for a few of them so it might help to double check. The ones i mentioned above I know for sure are adult though.
I’ve read all but 7 of these!!!!🎉❤
Nice!! I hope you like the remaining 7!
I would definitely love a recommendation of a really good paranormal horror book.
Darcy coats is my go to for this! She writes some good ghostly stuff. Mary or the Nestlings by Nat Cassidy! Incidents around the House I just read and didn't love, but I know a ton of horror reader that did.
@@MelLenoreReads I actually have these on my wish list!
Is lady of darkness very spicy? I want to read it but I don’t like much spice. 3/10 or less is what I normally read.
It isn't in book 1 but yes in books 2 and beyond
@@MelLenoreReads ok thanks.
So many great recs! Still need to get to the new Rob J. Hayes.
Yessss. I really need to get on Herald
Fireborne DEFINITELY made me cry. I think the whole trilogy did tbh
It’s a big gut punch for sure!
My first video of yours ; I like these types of very specific book recommendations. Also, you're from Alabama, right? Or Tennessee? (The accent)😊
Yay! Welcome! And yes Alabama
Do you have a fast paced fantasy recommendation with not a ton of romance and LGBTQ, POC or disability rep would be a plus
Ashes of the Sun would fit this for sure! It is LGBTQ and I think disability rep. Very fast paced

The best straight love love story between a man and a woman
Thanks for watching. I feel that this would require a lot more information in order for me to give a recommendation as this is probably the most common in the genre. I always encourage branching out!
