"being a scorpio with a moon in pisces" SPEAK ENGLISH. that sweater is literally the best thing to ever happen to this channel, I would totally buy it too
SAME about A Little Life. I read it years and years ago and loved it and still do. I know people love to hate on it but I think they don’t want or can’t take the pain. Yanagihara has some of the most beautiful prose out there. Can’t wait to read Death Valley, Adelaide and My Dark Vanessa!
Michelle slept the whole week to be able to workout during your filming session! Thanks for the recommendations, I loved All's well and My dark Vanessa, I will look into Melissa Broder's books :)
I'm participating in a Bunny Readathon so I'm re-reading and annotating Bunny now and will read All's Well for the first time after. 😄 can definitely relate to the chronic pain and excited to read another Mona Awad book!
Videos like this are important because we don't all like to just read extreme horror all the time, and I'd rather get lit fic recommendations from someone with similar tastes than, say, an English professor.
I figured this video wouldn’t get a ton of love since it’s not my usual content but sometimes only reading horror is just TOO MUCH and it’s good to branch out
Thank you the books on here that I've read I *loved* so I know the ones that I haven't will be just as good! I am particularly excited about Animal bc Emma Roberts narrates the audio 🤗I needed this video. I just love u you're the coolest smartest funniest prettiest with the best hair most versatile lovely amazing fantastic most relatable best booktuber on the internet 😂❤❤❤❤
I freaking loved a little life i feel like people who find it too much can not relate to the pain on this book at all and aren‘t empathic.. maybe i‘m just a typical cancer lol idk🤣
Yeah, me too. Everyone has scared the hell out of me about A Little Life.I actually bought it and gave it away. I am a wimp, a real wimp.@@ReadingWithMeg
I'm gonna buy Adelaide because of how you described it. I don't really read literary fiction but this book sounds soooo incredibly relatable. Around 5 months ago, I escaped a very toxic and abusive relationship which made me want to be single forever. I am currently suffering from PTSD and my mental health is egregious. Thank you for this video. 🖤Reading Adelaide will be a cathartic experience.
Loving ur sweater!! I have only read the push. Loved it. Can't wait to read the other books! Looking forward to it next video!! Ty
Thank you! I hope you like them ☺️🩷
The Push is a masterpiece!
AGREEEEEEE
I've seen a lot of people talk about it but how Meg described it sounds really fascinating. I'd love to read it now
I love your sweater❤ those colors …. I really like this content today …. I’m going to check out Adelaide and A Little Life …..and The Pisces

Exactly I think it’s just one of those things that are too depressing for people and no one wants to hear it. I hope you like them!
A LIITLE LIFE has never left my brain since reding it. One of my favorite books now. ❤
definitely adding all of these to my TBR! i want to read lots of literary fiction this summer!
I’ve been loving lit fic lately. I hope you enjoy them!
The coyote scene in animal almost made me dnf

If you can relate to chronic pain then I definitely think you will love Alls Well!
I would recommend Our Wives Under the Sea.
Stunning book! One of my all-time favorites.
Scorpio? Me too. I feel your pain.

It's nice to hear someone else actually get emotional over The Push. I felt like I was the only one 😂😂
Me too I always hear people trash talking it 😂
thank you!! needed this, in a big slump so want to try something different lul 😘
Yeah I get into major slumps if I only read the same genre over and over. I hope you find something you like!
Lit-fic-ing terrific!
I love this video, please do more!! I love your extreme horror vids but I also love reading books like these! And Melissa Broder is the GOAT 😤🖤
SHE IS THE BESTTTTTT
I’m definitely going to be reading more soon I’ve been really into this genre lately and it’s great to rest from horror
A Little Life seems sorta more intimidating than hard extreme horror.
It is and that’s why I love it lol
I loved the push❤
So good!
I love the push 😩
Would recommend upcoming release Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors - phenomenal!

But omg thank you so much 🥹😭❤️❤️❤️
Of course we have the same exact taste in books, we are scorpio queens...everything dark is fascinating 😂
Everything dark and unhinged 😂
I freaking loved a little life i feel like people who find it too much can not relate to the pain on this book at all and aren‘t empathic.. maybe i‘m just a typical cancer lol idk🤣
LOL my chart is full of water signs and I feel the same way 😂

OMG, I love your reviews, but did you actually pick the most depressing books ever?
They’re the ones I find relatable lol
Yeah, me too. Everyone has scared the hell out of me about A Little Life.I actually bought it and gave it away. I am a wimp, a real wimp.@@ReadingWithMeg
Everytime I see the cover of A Little Life I am like why is James Franco making that face lol
Hahahah I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME

I’m so sorry you went through that. I think that book would be cathartic for you for sure 🩷
