I love these two books by Darcy Coates: "House of Shadows" and "House of Secrets" they're my favs from her. I haven't read her other books, they're not my cup of tea because I like a little romance with my horror.

Funny story; The Last of Us was filmed in my town and my parents house is in a few scenes. I got to go on set a few times to check on their house and saw them filming. It was a very cool experience

Spooky season can't come soon enough!! I have only read The Reformatory and absolutely loved it, but it leans a bit more literary than pure horror so prepare for that! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of these, have fun with completing the board 🤩

Such a great TBR! I will definitely be trying this challenge. I was waiting for you to pronounce the name of the author for The Reformatory. I was trying to do it in my head, and it definitely didn't go well. 😂

after the second time, I was expecting the slasher noise, and still every time it gave my heart a little jolt. I like the way your pronounce Catriona's name. I won't be participating in this one, but I am liking this tbr.
