Just to be clear, he is an Anthropologist who specializes in Paleoanthropology which is a branch of Anthropology that studies hominid and great ape fossils, I believe this is more of a science than a humanities since there is little to no ethnography involved, merely digging things up
This is not a day in the life of an anthropologist, the video looks more akin to archeology and human paleontology

Anthropology is vast in complexity. It may just be 'merely digging' and focuses on hominid to some but it very much is anthropology. Although it's based on natural history and evolution, I personally think it can easily connect to and aid in humanity standpoints and modern humans @@noirblush1

When I was a child, I was fascinated by Science, I liked studying animal life, astronomy and human body. I almost did Medicine at university. Anthropology is more of humanities than biological science in my country, unfortunetely. I think I would be a great biological anthropologist if I chose the career.

I want to do anthropology but there are so many versions of it I can’t choose which I want to do… anthrozoology, paleoanthrozoology, biological anthropology, etc… I want a field that covers everything, science and humanities, and has field work, a bit like what’s in this video.

I think they kind of overlap, especially Paleoanthropology.
