Text him with your info and he will call you. Tell him you got his name from David Kitts. Bryan Bowen 971-328-2300
Can you buy a brand new truck like the one in this video and make enough money to pay for it plus expenses (fuel, insurance, & maintenance) and still make a profit of $100,000 with two people driving?
It's a 2022 freightliner Cascadia with a DD 13 engine and a DD 12 transmission. The truck has a 110" sleeper, carrier tcu, carrier apu, waltco lift gate, 20' refer box, a ex-guard 150 bush guard, and two 60" tool boxes. The price was right around $290,000,
I'm an otr driver of 22 years and my wife is considering getting her class b license so I was wondering if you're hiring and how would I get a hold of you
When we do have an open truck I will advertise it on this channel. Once your wife does have her class B shoot me another comment and if I don't have an opening I will try to get you in touch with someone who does.
I'm interested in buying one but I've searched online and I can't find it. If you can please tell me where and how I can order yours, I would really appreciate it. Greetings and blessings
I buy all my trucks from Fyda Freightliner in Columbus, OH. The expediting sales guy there is great to work with. His name is Tyler Hollinger his number is 614-809-5073.
Hi there I have my class B CDL I used to drive ST with panther premium logistics. I have been talking to my wife about going back over the road. But I want to buy my own ST. Who do you recommend to do business with. ?
I’m thinking about buying a truck like this one to travel the US, live in, and for work. Can this truck in its current configuration haul a normal sized trailer? I like the size of this sleeper. Would appreciate the clarification as I’m currently exploring this idea. Also, what is the cost for such a truck?
This is a straight truck. So there is no trailer. That is just a box placed on the frame. So the box, tractor, and sleeper are all on one frame. Yes you can definitely get a custom sleeper and still pull a 53 ft trailer. Just a tractor and sleeper like this would probably be close to 200,000. The straight truck in this video cost right at 295,000. The trucks have all gone up now. This same truck now would cost 355,000. I just did a video were i have one of my old trucks for sale. I'm asking 150,000 for that one.
@@kruznwiththekitts that’s expensive. Isn’t the net pay average about 40k per year as an owner operator of a straight truck? I saw a video of another couple and they said that’s that’s their net pay if I’m not mistaken. And that’s being away all the time. Months usually
@@kruznwiththekitts because my wife and I have children at home this is not possible. However we will own the truck ourselves and I will be the primary driver. Is this not feasible in your opinion? I see different people saying yes and others saying no. Is 75k net the norm for a solo O/O? I would imagine that owning the truck would pay more than driving for somebody. There’s local companies paying 80k in Texas for delivering milk from what I’ve seen
@Tom P I would recommend you get a local Driving job so that you can be home more often. One place I would look into driving for is Wal-Mart. I've heard that you can make 6 figures driving for them. I would not get into expedited shipping as a solo driver. If you do get your own truck maybe look into delivering mail that is supposed to pay well. Something that can open a lot of doors for you would be getting your DOD. Department of Defense security clearance. It takes 6 to 12 months to get but it opens up a world of opportunities for you. There is a company in Georgia that you can get on with in your own truck doing DOD loads. I've heard they make 3 to 400,000 a year. Unfortunately i don't remember the name of the company.
Our business address is in Florida. We buy all of our trucks in Ohio. We live in a fifth wheel now and will be managing the fleet from all over the country.
It's expedited shipping. One of our pallets could be worth more than 20 of yours. Some of our shippers product is worth so much they can only ship one pallet at a time because if we got in a wreck and the product was damaged insurance would only pay for one pallet worth.
@@jeferssonmontoya2177 Yes it is definitely less stressful to drive. You should see some these straight trucks out here though it is hilarious. The sleeper will be 130" and the box is only like 16 ft. The head is definitely to big for the ass!!! 🤣😂
Please excuse the stupid European, but why doesn't this machine have a trailer? From a European point of view, this truck is absurd - a very luxurious living space for the driver, but a ridiculously small cargo space. In Europe, this machine would be fitted with at least an 800-900hp engine and then a trailer, for transporting up to 70t goods. What in America trucks become like this? Some tax issue? If you belive this is BS, look Finnish trucking or Sweden truking videos here, in youtube.
We are in expedited shipping. We don't need that much cargo space. Some of the stuff we hall is worth so much the shipper can't afford to insure an entire 53-foot trailer full of it. Most of us are husband and wife teams we stay out for months at a time. Some of us basically live in the truck. To bad a company in Europe hasn't thought of the concept of white glove services for high dollar expedited freight. Driving these trucks is much nicer than driving tractor and trailer. Of course, there are 10s of thousands of full size tractor and trailers running in the United States. There are also trucks pulling 2 or 3 trailers at a time, making your 70 ft trailer look like babies. It all depends on the job you are doing.
@@kruznwiththekitts So it was a financial issue - insurance for very expensive goods. But if you really can make money like this, hats off to you! I can only envy the kind of life you get to ride with your wife in your truck. It's usually a very monotonous and lonely profession here. Good luck!
She should do the video since she likes to talk over you and finish your sentences.
My God what a beauty. As a driver, I have to say it's great that you care about drivers privacy.
Nothing like a camera girl who finishes all your sentences.
