This is great, Ben for knifecraft, Lois for Leathercraft!
    What could be better?
Seriously though, do you ever make larger knives, or knives with crossguards such as Bowies?

Hello Ben!Why the recaso? What is the point, and not just like the mora 510,511 for example?Thank you!

    • @BenOrford

      No problem good question
If you don have the ricasso then one you will mess up the handle material when sharpening.
Plus with the Mora handles they are injection molded handles.
With these style of handle you would have a bad bond and likely would make the handle fail or allow ingress of material underneath the handle scales. Hope that helps explain
      Many thanks cheers Ben

Hi Ben, just wondering if you are still forging your carving tools, or if there is a certain time of year I should watch for them? I have been looking to try to get a small crook knife, a right handed single bevel Gransfors Bruks axe, and possibly a drawknife as well.
    Cheers,
    Christopher
