I've got this one and the 60lb Bear archery version -- both are great but have a flaw of the cocking lever latch breaking - my solution was to superglue it back together, press it into some modeling clay to make a mold, then fill the mold with 2 part epoxy resin and put in a small nail for reinforcement - seems to work pretty well so far. Also, if you get a $10 bow stringer it's a lot easier to string (especially if you watch one of the other youtube vids on specifically how to use the stringer
I've had 2 and the same piece broke off each one. Also, the bolt retainer springs breaks on those models also. I got 2 of the 50lb models and nothing broke off those.
Thanks 🙏 God for Locktite and Super Glue,,, I have 2 different models Center Point and Bear 🐻 XL and believe me nothing is loose or broken on them, they perform flawlessly,,ohhh and don’t forget string wax you lads 😂😂😂 You Fokken Idiots, can’t you find out and fix it yourself??? How many comments I have read about same issue and nobody is fixing it, I bet the company loves it when you guys are dumb…Jesus please 🙏 release me from my penance…
The lack of accuracy isn't problem of the crossbow, those darts are the ones to blame, they have no consistency, some even make a noticeable curve before hitting the target, they are crap. I got one of those crossbows, changed the original sight for a red dot, and zeroed it. With carbon fiber darts, every shot is a bull's eye.
Dude I completely understand, I noticed just by changing the bolts and how they seat your aim is crap 💩 and if you change the bolts from aluminum to fibreglass it’s completely different game.Crossbow by itself is awesome,it’s fully functional and I have no complaints about it so far, waxed the Shyt out of it (string) and couple twists on it’s great 👍…
Do not hunt deer with this crossbow. especially not with the bolts it comes with, that would be extremely un-ethical (Field tips are designed to penetrate foam targets, not flesh). you could hunt for small game however. for deer hunting you would need a full size crossbow shooting larger bolts with higher stopping power and accuracy (150lbs and up would be okay for larger game). Just make sure to use decent broadhead tips for deer hunting.
Bought one a month ago and got a red dot for it, fun crossbow, nice straightforward review.
Yhe man it's a brilliant bit of kit
how is the effective range? ive got a few bows and a compound bow and looking to buy my first crossbow.
Selling like crazy all across Canada!
That’s because Canadians can’t buy real weapons.
Where I live in ontario have not seen it
They all break. All crap .

I know, the cocking lever also broke on both my Bear X bows. But when the bolt retainer spring breaks on them, they become useless.
