ever consider Thermal Plastic? its plastic that can just be formed with hot water. i made a large ball then smashed it flat and its become an essential part of my bug out/camping packs. i have made spear tips, tent stakes, fork, spoon, knife(ish) and countless other tools and just re mold the ball n smash it down when im done

On a knife review, you should first evaluate if it is properly sharpened and note that. If it isn't excellent, then sharpen it before continuing with tests. That was NOT sharp on the non-serrated area because it would not cut paracord without extreme force. I would not go into the field with the knife in that condition.

Good job man, the kit looks really well put together definitely going to subscribe..Im not sure of your area or bug out plan. but a few tips that could make you're pack a little bit better would be adding more medical; like military pressure bandages and a few more TQs. I also would think about dropping the axe because you already have a saw and could also baton with a knife. And lastly i would lose the pliars and wrench since you have the multi tool and replace that weight with a few more protein/energy bars or some candy (for morale boost)

This video exploaded :) expect a mix of comments but so far they're well-intentioned. I was at a point where I i was out of breath just putting my bag on. I then got to a stage where I could put it on and run up and down the stairs a couple of times before being out of breath. Then I got worse and started smoking and am early diabetic, and I know for myself my gear is no use to me if im just stuck at home with it because I'm not fit enough to move it. You know yourself but it's probably the most important part of prepping.

Waterproofing, remember water in the fibre of your bag weighs approximately 1 kilo per litre. So consider kewi shoe waterproofing spray (many use it on tents and bags) and pack with a heavy duty garbage bag as a pack liner. 👍

I like those IRR longshort backsnugpack clones. Rocket pouches are great. A tip. GSR gasmask case. Molle it onto the bottom of your pack. Then when you take it off it will sit on its base and not fall over, invariably landing in mud you didn't see under grass wetting your straps 😂. Back pack bro. I stripped down to a 45lt Berghouse side pouches GSR your at 75 or so. Plenty of room. Short backs you can run LBE PLCE ALICE webbing for it to ride on and keep food water shelter etc etc on your webbing. Makes a big big difference in agility and endurance.

It's good that you have all this kit but your hardware doesn't look very.. "used" is it not a good idea to test equipment before adding it to bags? Everything in my kit bag has been tested numerous times before I commit to keeping it in there

That's a good kit load out. This seems to be the same backpack that Amazon has been trying to sell me for over a year now. It keeps coming up now and then.

I have a suggestion for you. Have you thought about putting food grade Diatomaceous Earth powder in that bug out bag for your dog to kill and get rid of ticks, mites, mange, and fleas.

Hate to say it but when you were Chopping it wasn't the knife that was at fault it was the way you were Chopping it .....45 degree left strike followed by 45 degree right strike .....Personally I couldnt fault this knife good all rounder !!
