The new bench looks great. I was lucky enough to have a decent set of seats all around to swap out, but man does that vinyl get crusty over the years. The rust patterns in the saloons on the back right wheel well the seams rot away but the left side is almost untouched. Im just about to start cutting that section out to repair then cake it with undercoating, paint and sealer. Mine was far more rotten with about a 2 in gap all the way down the seam

I think there was originally a piece of felt under the seat base
Maybe time to dig deep and shell out for new foam and covers ??

3 years too late, as usual. Leather and Trim is more expensive than rebuilding the engine - sheesh
