I still come back to this and appreciate that they maintain magical thinking with Louise during otherwise serious/dark moments, like what happened to Amelia when the plane went down, or being concerned that Santa won't think she's been well behaved enough, or that he won't be able to find them for Christmas if they aren't home.
It's a tough balancing act between making her an agent of chaos and giving her realistic behavior for a nine year old girl -- that she still has so much innocence and she's so tender hearted for a kid with such a developed and nurtured sense of the wild and the world.

I'm not sure it needs it. Maybe an extra 5-10secs for a nice ending, but I think it's perfect as a short sweet song.

@@Someone-yd3yt I think part of what makes this show so special is that there are these achingly beautiful songs, songs that other artists would release as centrepiece singles from their albums, just tossed away on a thirty second credits sequence, or for some mid episode montage. There's something magical about that.
There are also ideas that are tossed away in one episode and never revisited - an example is the Snail and Newt storybooks that made an appearance in an episode from this season, and every scene with Snail and Newt was magical. The final scene where Bob and Linda read to the kids about Newt saying goodbye to Snail made me tear up, and it barely lasted twenty seconds. I didn't even know anything about the story other than this one scene...yet it hit me hard in the feels.
This show is a wonder factory.

Season 13, while having a lot of misses, really came out strong with this episode and "Radio no you didn't" as well as the Christmas episode. Linda's talk with Louise was easily one of her best moments in the show. Granted, Bob is usually the one who gives speeches while Linda is more fun, but I do think it's important how Linda and Louise's relationship has changed over the seasons to a more respectful and loving one

Saw this episode last week, and it’s crazy how Louise is definitely growing up taking some kind of homework project serious. In previous seasons we never really see her take class work or homework as serious. But in this episode we see that she’s beginning to take responsibility. By reading a book she never thought she had interest in about a woman who learned how to fly airplanes and was not afraid to do the impossible of doing it. It makes me happy to see Louise and Linda sitting down and just working on something together. Cause we always see Louise and Linda at odds with each other. Season 14 I believe we really starting to see a lot of emotions in episodes. I hope so cause this is definitely one of the greatest shows I’ve seen in a very long time on FOX!

The quality of the music on this show is something that still shocks me, time after time. I don't jibe with it all - some of the songs are a bit too nice for me; but even then it's still good, and when it's better than that it's genuinely great, like this little snippet of a song that only lasts thirty seconds. What an amazing song and expression, I think there is so much in this song it really makes the imagination fly. I do wonder where the legato part of the vocals might come from, or be slightly similar to. It may well be something from hundreds of years ago. Or it just installs itself in your ear instantly.

Lyrics for those who like to sing along like me!
I cannot wait to watch you find your wings
Cause I know, you're on your way up up up up to bigger things ohh oh
And if the world makes you feel small
Just let them watch you fly above it all
Some of that magic, I see it in your eyes
Some of that magic, you're meant for the sky
Some of that magic, makes me want to find some of that magic
