In the Pro Tour my opponent broke not only the rules but exploited a character skin & stage. i was playing as Ed & instead of being Balrog like she was supposed to picked blkanka & picked the color that camoflauged into the grid stage. Ive said for years that stage needs to be 100% tournament banned & nobody listens BUT the beach stage is banned because a characters taunt cant be seen under the shore.
If you wanted to be extra hard on yourself you could do: *Completed on at least normal *Collected most if not all collectables, health/weapon upgrades, etc.
I love the part where if the people who make the cheats REALIZE your using what they made to make a profit at events instead of using them recreationally, they take it personally and make sure they get caught for it lol
I'm with the Zenith Esports Rainbow Six: Siege team, and I didn't even know about ElmZero, until just now. It just goes to show; if you want to make a name for yourself, cheating is the fastest way to be forgotten.
On the flip side.. I haven't heard of any of these people, but I did just hear about the people that cheated. So, it appears that the only way someone would possibly care that you play a video game (that's over the age of 12 and/or doesn't live in mommy's basement) is if you cheat and get humiliated.

McCree's ult makes him stand still and takes a timer to use effectively, Soldier's ult doesn't do headshots, Moira has aimbot but barely gives any damage per sec compared to cree, ashe, widow, tracer, etc while simultaneously needing to heal her team. Overwatch heroes with aimbot are given aimbot and penalized in other areas to even it out. I'm surprised this is even needing an explanation...
This is late but most actually working cheats do require payment to even get. Be it a one time purchase or a subscription. The only cheats that are generally free, are the ones that are easily caught. Lol

The mainland Chinese that does this, is often "Wu Mao" (google it), so it gives an indication on how China is a bully, and cries foul etc and whines when caught... It can perhaps hugely impact how much this video trends, because they report it and/or how Google is actually sucking up to mainland China, which Google are not alone in doing... It is CCP's fault (the government in mainland China), and not the people in mainland China. There is a huge difference between those two, and tourists from mainland China is not representative of how people in mainland China is either, because of several reasons.
So I’m pretty sure most streamers that cheat have overlays so you can’t see the cheats, and so when they “show their cheats” it’s that the overlay stopped working and they didn’t notice

Problem was all the bright green enemies on his screen, showing up through walls.
yeah, we got a guy banned from No Man's Sky because he was arguing that you can play the game in "offline" mode (no such thing) and proceeded to upload a video where he basically connected to Steam (online of course), then to the NMS servers (online of course) THEN disabled his internet. The problem was... the video showed him with billions of all types of in-game currency, lol. Of course we forwarded it to NMS and harassed him in the forums... unceasingly. Until his account was disabled.
A great video idea would be when developers would mess with people in their games or cheat. I know its happened cuz i was in a match with a member of blizzard in overwatch and they would just shoot through walls, use 3 ults in one and do tons of crazy stuff. It was fun but was also annoying.
I do believe it when they say 40% of the good players are cheating especially on warzone getting into diamond 1 or higher lobbies at least 30 people are cheating.

It's things like this that make people not want to play multiplayer games. Although we've all probably encountered these sorts of people. I once reported someone for perfect aim or maybe it was my friend Eric and basically, we got a reply from the game and it mentioned that they caught a cheater. We didn't get our loss changed to a win but the fact that the player was banned really helped.
The story about Daniel Abt is a littlebit different actually: He didn't took the championship that serious and thought it would be funny to let someone play for him (he didn't hire him, it was a guy he trained with before, who also drove for the 2nd league of this championship iirc). He wanted to resolve this "joke" after the race, but the officials were faster and it got bigger, then Abt thought (because "it's just a game").
I was half expecting the BSK sweats guys like Lumi and Sonic to show on this list. They allied with a hacker group to DOS other players and streamers for seemingly no reason. Sad thing is they were actually really good at the game they didn't need to DOS they just did it because they're assholes

I wanted to do a max-level run of Dark Souls 3, so I used Cheat Engine to boost all my stats to 99. I stayed offline the entire time, and deleted the game file after I was finished. But as soon as I logged back into the servers, I was banned 😔 It was just for fun, it's not like I was griefing anybody. Now I can't do co-op with my friend and I'm *pissed* !

It's things like this that make people not want to play multiplayer games. Although we've all probably encountered these sorts of people. I once reported someone for perfect aim or maybe it was my friend Eric and basically, we got a reply from the game and it mentioned that they caught a cheater. We didn't get our loss changed to a win but the fact that the player was banned really helped.
The story about Daniel Abt is a littlebit different actually: He didn't took the championship that serious and thought it would be funny to let someone play for him (he didn't hire him, it was a guy he trained with before, who also drove for the 2nd league of this championship iirc). He wanted to resolve this "joke" after the race, but the officials were faster and it got bigger, then Abt thought (because "it's just a game").
The Audi Abt Formula E team fired him, and the thing is: Daniel Abt's family runs Audi's Formula E team

I was half expecting the BSK sweats guys like Lumi and Sonic to show on this list. They allied with a hacker group to DOS other players and streamers for seemingly no reason. Sad thing is they were actually really good at the game they didn't need to DOS they just did it because they're assholes
