@@W4rr4X Well, the issue with those 'cheaters' is that people lose their lives because being dosed up on drugs and enhancing their bodies beyond normal means. To the point that in ten years after even 'winning' a gold metal. End up dying due to a heart attack or some other medical issue. My version of "Epic Cheaters" are those who bend the rules by looking at the rule book. Finding out that there isn't a rule for...oh inflating a basketball in a full tank to trick inspectors that the tank is full and then deflate it, fill the tank even more and be able to run a race longer than anyone else. Or another way is to run a slightly bigger fuel line and run it longer. Able to add maybe 1 or 2 more gallon(s) of fuel. Even drive off in the car after the gas tank is removed. Though by technicality they did cheat but they could not be truly punished because at the time there was no rule against it. Though this is autosports or NASCAR to narrow the focus a bit. As for other sports. American League Baseball has a lot of cheaters and the funny thing is. It isn't because of steroids. Some cheaters used basic cheats of scruffing up the ball with a little bit of sandpaper, using way more pine tar on their bat and so many others. Though also the other kind of cheating that seems to always happen. Game-Fixing. Where either the league wants some team to win or officials who are illegally gambling on the game want their team to win. Just twist the rules and enforce normally uncalled penalties on one side or the other. And make it so much harder for one side to have a fair chance to win. And that kind of shit is why there can be fan riots or the league getting close to executing their own officials. Though that shit is harder to enforce or call cheating. When it is the very organization doing the cheating and they write the damn rules. Just like Politics. *rolls eyes*
Unfortunately cheaters do prosper in life. I do not agree with cheating in any way, but it happens in real life much more than ppl realize. Many rich ppl have gotten their money from cheating in one form or another. Perfect example is Trump
If they're playing on PC it's a pretty common console command (cheat). You wouldn't want to spawn things into a multiplayer game obviously, but since the dev was trying to catch a cheater he gets to use cheats haha.
I got banned for some time multiple times, some of the bans were for cheating some were for different stuff but nothing of it was really correct (I mean once 1 server warned me and recommended me doing one thing which i wasnt doing but i just didnt join the server because i didnt agree with it and it wasnt anything really bad, like most server dont need you to do that)
yo that sucks. but what are the odds of you being in a server with an admin? thats pretty slim odds bro. you got lucky. if only he wasnt such a jerk to you.
Looking at other players screens on Goldeneye is the closest I've come to cheating - not because I don't break rules (I do), but because I don't want my enjoyment coming at the cost of everyone else's. Plus it feels grimy - cheaters are pathetic fall-downs. Every. Last. One.
@@mathieuperreault310 Literally any computer, console (a different kind of computer), cell phone, data base, server can be hacked. It's brutally ignorant to think otherwise.

So, Im super late. Anyway, I had a friend that started cheating and he caused me to lose my rank 3 times in CS:GO before admitting he had aimbot software and wall hacking software. He went on for three months before being caught. What I did, was I told him to 1v1 me and show me how blatant his software would be, but I didn't turn the anti-cheat off for our private match and caused his account to get vac banned. Immediately after, I cut contact with him and I dont regret getting his account banned.
The only game I ever got banned for being caught cheating was on an old public minecraft server from like 2015 or something where I cheated (x-ray, I know so original) intentionally because I was bored and I didn't like the server because my younger sister (by 2 years) always wanted me to play on it with her. If those were the only two reasons for me to cheat, I wouldn't have actually cheated. The reason that got me to cheat and get caught was my curiosity on how good the staff were at catching cheaters. Result: they did well. It took them about 2 mins to notice me, the mod watched me for about a minute before asking me what I was doing and I remember replying "I'm using xray to find diamond because I'm bored. Want me to throw them in the lava later?" The mod just replied with "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ban you. Cheating is a bannable offense, no matter what you do with it." and I just replied with "Ok, thanks :)". I have cheated on plenty of private servers where I knew it was fine, so I don't count those

Yeah I love meta-games like that that give people that want to fuck with games an outlet, but in reality most people that hack or cheat do it for the satisfaction of “being good” without having to work for it.
There’s a game called “Screencheat” where the idea is that all character models are invisible but you look on your opponent’a screen to kind of deduce/triangulate where they are.
I think if players can't win legitimately, then you shouldn't play at all. If it's for a single player mode and you wanna try hacks, cheats or manipulations to try to go out of bounds, go for it. I do and it's fun when you found some out of bound areas.

I was playing Call of Duty 4 on the 360 awhile back, and in the middle of the game some weird text flashed across the screen and next thing you know I had every weapon and perk in the game. Someone was basically cheating on the behalf of people in the lobby, even when they didn't want it.
Funny story, my friend got banned for two weeks, when joking about having fly hacks on a Minecraft sky wars server, lol, I was sad not to get to play with him for the two weeks, but he didn't even tell me the story till about a week into the ban. 😂

You'd have to send additional information through the socket in that case, because they usually don't send that stuff. Even then, it's probably pretty easy to set up some middleware to spoof. It needs a bit more dedication, but certainly not impossible. It really wouldn't be much different from using a VPN.
@@CottidaeSEA It's kind of interesting though, because in countries like China, you have to sign up with most online accounts with your public identity (it's like the Chinese version of a SSN to my understanding) so the government can monitor everything. If you get a VAC ban or a game ban in China, it impacts your identity's credit score, and makes you a less honorable person, which can impact buying properties, it could lose your job, and might even land you a prison sentence.
@@kalebm9928 I honestly think that something similar should exist in other countries as well. It's more the reaction these people are after, or rankings. Kinda like on cod. "Yeah bro, max prestige in less than a month, that's how good I am, so much better than you at the game"
It’s more funny to be called a cheater rather than be the one cheater itself. Apparently, that happens a lot to me on PvZ Garden Warfare 1 & 2. There’s a fair bit of cheaters on those games nowadays.
Deep Rock Galactic (DRG) tends to have cheaters that use unlimited ammo hacks and the like. Spamming grenade launchers, friendly firing everyone in the vicinity and it's really bothersome to the point you kick those people but at the same time they soak all the kills and leave you feeling like the game is emptied of its enjoyment when they do shit like that
Normally I condemn businesses sharing your information. But I think for the case of cheaters, businesses should share that information and mark every cheater so they're already on a watchlist, or they're denied to play on other online games as well. No sympathy for cheaters.
The "faked" speedrun of Getting Over It , sure was cheating. But it is referred to as a TAS. A Tool-Assisted-Speedrun. Often used to exploit new tech and strats that can hopefully be used in RTA. Just a little extra info for ya.

there is a game called S4 League, once the coolest 3rd-person shooter anime-style free-to-play game of its time. the game was ruined by cheaters. almost every match played, you would find a movement speed hacker, aim-bot, immortal player or 1-hit killer. it was so painful, i was forced to quit by my own morals.
I've only been banned in 1 game and that was Modern warfare 2, we set up a dedicated server so I could kick hackers, ,vote maps in rotations and play mods... Felt it was a pretty unnessacry ban as it was mainly a means of dealing with aimbotters and playing smaller maps all the time. But VAC didn't like it :P That was 3199 Days Ago According to steam
I had the exact same ban and circumstances. I hated the VAC blemish so i created new steam account for my piece of mind. Its sad that to play zombies mod with friends privately resulted in ban, especially when the anti cheat was so easily defeated for those who wanted to be malicious.
My main account for Modern Warfare was permanently banned. I've never cheated in an online game in my life......but apparently I do SOMETHING to warrant a perma ban. Only thing is there is no dispute option with NoVision. No way to find out what I was actually banned for.
I have observed that the reason people grief is because they want to make themselves feel better by making other people feel worse. There's no deeper explanation, there's no real motive, their brain is just programmed to do that. If this were harmless then I'd say whatever these people can't succeed anywhere else, let them have their fetish. But this kind of thing genuinely affects people who might not be going through an easy time themselves and might create unintended consequences.
My old overwatch account got perm banned for hacking when I hadn't played for over 3 weeks, I had never aimbotted, nor had I ever thought about aimbotting. That was quite sad.
This probably happened to a lot of us, I have been accused of cheating in several games, being reported and never got banned .. make sense because I never used cheat. Despite what you think I'm a very average player but my point is nowadays people just accuse and report others just because they lose and most of the time because they don't know every tricks in the game well. Of course there are cheaters out there but not as many as you think.
I was playing Titanfall 2 and we had 3 aimbotters in my lobby and when we called them out, they turned off their cheats and consistently got their asses whooped.

I didn't know a developer can actively spawn things into the game. I thought he'd have to put it in there through an update. The more you know!
If they're playing on PC it's a pretty common console command (cheat). You wouldn't want to spawn things into a multiplayer game obviously, but since the dev was trying to catch a cheater he gets to use cheats haha.

It's not really hard. The biggest question is how cleanly you can do it. Some programs - no problem. Others - Katy bar the door!
There is a channel where a RUST admin constantly does this to cheaters, it's actually pretty funny!
I got banned for some time multiple times, some of the bans were for cheating some were for different stuff but nothing of it was really correct (I mean once 1 server warned me and recommended me doing one thing which i wasnt doing but i just didnt join the server because i didnt agree with it and it wasnt anything really bad, like most server dont need you to do that)
I got banned from battlefield for killing an admin on the server I had just joined. wasn't cheating, just happened to shoot the admin
Lol the amount of times this happened to me on CoD4 on PC back in the day
Yeah this is the bullshit that sadly no one cares about. Admin was just salty and probably shouldn’t have been an admin in the first place
which battlefield,
that happens cuz they salty
yo that sucks. but what are the odds of you being in a server with an admin? thats pretty slim odds bro. you got lucky. if only he wasnt such a jerk to you.
Looking at other players screens on Goldeneye is the closest I've come to cheating - not because I don't break rules (I do), but because I don't want my enjoyment coming at the cost of everyone else's.
Plus it feels grimy - cheaters are pathetic fall-downs. Every. Last. One.
Keep cheats in the single-player games. No need for them in online games.

I've cheated in CSGO and got VAC Banned. I cheated because I was getting Salty over the increasing amount of over cheaters cause by the game going free-to-play and it became that phrase "Die a Hero or Live Long Enough to be the Villain" An a villian I became. Aimbotted and wall hacked in Comp, Wingman, and the killing blow was Casual. I've now been banned from Csgo for 991 days. I've since created an alt to play more legit and got Gold 2 Rank in Comp and Gold 4 in Wingman. But those cheaters still appear plus generally being rusty for not playing for quite some time, cost my comp rank to be Sliver 2. I generally don't play Enough to get my rank back and I just don't let it get to me anymore as I enjoy just playing the game on a more casual playing field.

Same. Bugs, glitches, exploits and cheats are all best used in single player. No point in multi-player.
Unless of course you are a madlad who streams that you are cheating .
Saw a video from this youtuber called Muselk. His team was having issues with an aimbotter in Rainbow Six Siege.
Their solution was to when they're supposed to defend the hostage, they would all go prone and cluster around the hostage, so that the cheater would shoot the hostage and lose the match for his team.

I've seen lag hackers in For Honor and it actually pissed me off severely.

They have no honor.
😂😂 nice!!
Seen a player in PUBG with speed hacks, an a aimbot in apex legends
PUBG has a _lot_ of cheaters. They make it easy to report them, tho.
9:01 if they're going around telling people they are scamming and someone STILL gets scammed after the warning....well....that's on that person.
If only liberals agreed with that logic.

Freedom of speech is where the government can't arrest you for what you say (within reason). Microsoft is not the government. And you agree to the terms and conditions, and willingly broke them. Your freedom of speech was not infringed upon
I really wish hardware bans were a thing in most online competitive games.
You'd have to send additional information through the socket in that case, because they usually don't send that stuff. Even then, it's probably pretty easy to set up some middleware to spoof. It needs a bit more dedication, but certainly not impossible. It really wouldn't be much different from using a VPN.
@@CottidaeSEA Yeah, and the potential privacy breaches would be bad. One can dream of less cheaters, perhaps one day it will become a reality.
@@kalebm9928 Yeah, the privacy reason is one of the primary reasons why that information isn't sent normally.
While I think using a SSN for it is a bit insecure, having an equivalent of it but for the purpose of using the Internet would be a bit more reasonable. So many people do stupid shit simply because they can, without any major consequences after all.
These bans are always far too lenient especially on the pro-gamers that should be made an example of and banned from a game for life.

It’s more funny to be called a cheater rather than be the one cheater itself. Apparently, that happens a lot to me on PvZ Garden Warfare 1 & 2. There’s a fair bit of cheaters on those games nowadays.
Seriously, a cheater is a cheater and they never stop
Deep Rock Galactic (DRG) tends to have cheaters that use unlimited ammo hacks and the like. Spamming grenade launchers, friendly firing everyone in the vicinity and it's really bothersome to the point you kick those people but at the same time they soak all the kills and leave you feeling like the game is emptied of its enjoyment when they do shit like that
Normally I condemn businesses sharing your information. But I think for the case of cheaters, businesses should share that information and mark every cheater so they're already on a watchlist, or they're denied to play on other online games as well. No sympathy for cheaters.
Me cheating at a competition would mean ide have to hire a team to go around unplugging everyone’s systems while I’m the only one still plugged in 🤣

Remember seeing a video where a guy spent weeks to get the trust on a cheaters Minecraft server, before banning the cheater.
I was playing Titanfall 2 and we had 3 aimbotters in my lobby and when we called them out, they turned off their cheats and consistently got their asses whooped.
