Hey Cheif & Jackie, nice rocker’s & rods. It’s the something about the “Caddy Jack” when you fire it up, takes my breath away, love that car. I was going to ask you about the flat spot on the “Mickey Thompson” slicks. “Billy the kid” had the same problems week or two after you did (flat spot diagonally on the slick) same problems with replacing them as well. Thanks for tutoring this old fart.

Time to go pro-charged Hemi in everything! LOL! Skip the LS swaps and go right to Hemi! Plus don't tell anyone! :-) Start really whipping em! Please don't let anyone see under your hood. LOL! I have both and I am really impressed with my Hemi in my 4x4 Jeep it hauls ass for as heavy as it is. I have LT and LS engines in my Corvettes and of course, they scream too, but the Hemi can make more power and after all these years of BBC I am growing very fond of the Hemi's out there now. I might even buy a Dodge truck next time after always having a couple chevy trucks around. There is nothing better looking than an early 90's short bed ext cab lowered all fixed up.

no, we didn’t find any copper in the filter indicating the bearings

I see you have a front drive distributor. What do you do with the hole in the rear of the intake manifold..just plug it?
It's not just the distributor but also an external oil pump. You block off the main cap where the pump mounted and you can pick up a dist. plug from jesel as you still have oil galleys back there. I know you can use a freeze/welch plug as well.
