On my fist day racing, veteran drivers told me no to move or change lanes if they catched me. "We will get around you", they said. I remebered that seeing this video...
That’s what mirrors are for. Just like normal traffic, people don’t use them. It’s so irritating. In this case it can cost a position or a few seconds.
Thx for sharing, pretty cool. I have zero idea why they put the FV on the track at the same time as the higher level purpose built race cars, there is way too much speed differential for it to be safe.
I knew one guy who was running nationals and incredibly slow and would always move off line for the faster drivers He had a guy to race with which is cool but on our small 2 mile track theyd get lapped 4 or 5 times When the leaders would catch them on the straight hed move off line and the leaders would have the entire track blocked the entire straight line
Oh my God, the freaking back markers! This video was so frustrating with the driver getting blocked by slow traffic that just let the red car through. Just endlessly having to catch back up. I’d want to get out and choke somebody. Probably why I’m not a race car driver.
Geez, dangerous driving around you (and choice of cars for the same run group). SLOWER CARS--- NEVER TRY AND GET OUT OF THE WAY. Hold your line and faster traffic will go around you. Much safer if you are predictable on your racing line. Each scary near miss was a slower car trying to get out of the way and causing issues.

I always tell the slower class cars to help me with your feet, not your hands. A simple lift a split second early at the braking zone is all I need.
@@millroyboy07 or a life
It was cool seeing this car on track! Sounds amazing flying down the straight too

I thought I remembered the back straight going straight under the bridge and down the hill in the early ‘70s.
It did. There was a dip, but as the cars got faster, they teneded to lose grip, so a chicane was added to slow them down a little.
Freeway traffic everywhere, gives me the blue flags Keep on Posting brother - Love the ride along's!!!!!
0:32 What the hell?! oh my god😫😫
yeah this is very annoying and dangerous
Closing rates look dangerous, might need a rethink on the group. Great avoidance and driving.
GREAT DRIVING. THANK YOU FOR POSTING. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS LOCK!
You make it look easy!!
Bro oh my god i was there to see you! I was under those two tents on the right side of the s’s. You did incredible!
Formula V's in the same group? What could possibly go wrong?
Do these drivers have their mirrors switched off? Good video though.
like in real traffic i guess.
1:20 "oh yeah, häkkinnen + schumacher overtake while lapping, here we go..."
1:26 "god damn it, boy.... :C"
Wow great video! Looks like those gear shifters have a lot of travel?

I don't know what kind of car You are driving, but it looks like a blast!! What were Your average lap times?
0:34 wtf this guy is doing
Is that red bull x1
Might help if the car wasn't so dark. Looks like the slow cars have trouble spotting you in the mirrors. Consider a brighter color!?

1:29 ??????????????
Is this your daily driver?
impeding at it's finest
Good driving. Some dodgy avoidance moments there.

Use the paddles man learn what gear to be in you’ll be quicker. Your preference of gear might be different than the car’s ECU
Slower cqrs hold your line please!
You're paying for the whole track so why not use all of it?
Jesus christ, everyone is trying to crash into you in this session. 10x worse than an HPDE1 session.
