Don't worry about Tim Roth! He's in at least one more episode! Remember the trailer showing the She-Hulk talking at his meditation retreat about "the girl more popular than you in high school. Hello!"
I love how they take all the controversial crap, and throw it back in the faces of the people sitting on their couches “knowing”they can make a better show. Just go re-read the comics.
That was my favorite part! Because I've seen _all_ of those comments about the show, and its going to be insane to see those people use those same 'arguments' to complain about them making fun of them
That was obviously the new version of the Wrecking Crew. He calls the one guy "Thunderball". They were a part of the first Secret Wars storyline, and, they also worked for Damage Control at various points in the comics.
The issue is that the Abomination vs. Wong fight takes place close to the start of Shang-Chi, but at the end of Shang-Chi we see Bruce Banner still has his arm injury, when we know it was healed way before that fight took place. It just means there'll have to be some explaining as to why his injury came back (maybe only healed as Hulk, not as Bruce), and why he's back as Bruce, when he's been staying as Prof. Hulk. I don't think we'll get the explanation until next time we see Bruce/Hulk, which probably won't be during this show.
@@FilmMonger Or simply the fight took place before the first episode of She-Hulk and was only released at the end of episode 2. Or there were other fights, where Wong always returned Emil to his cell. And only the last was filmed and leaked.
@@fabiofarrooficial Now that it's over, it looks like it was only the one time, and Bruce was wearing the inhibitor in the Shang-Chi scene, it's just the general audience didn't know what it was, so it didn't register.
The events of No Way Home being revisited during the conversation between Wong and She-Hulk was wonderful. The whole Ally McBeal scenario is what this episode seriously highlighted. Also the whole "The Boss" sending out the Wrecking Crew to get She-Hulk's blood I wonder if that's Samuel Sterns aka The Leader who wants that power.
Could possibly be Power Broker since She-Hulks blood would be the type of thing Sharon Carter is into acquiring and that is also a tie back to Val since it possible Sharon might be working with her. Someone mentioned that the Wrecking Crew sometimes worked for the Power Broker in the comics.
You guys are great. Love the D.E.N.N.I.S. system reference & the way Vanessa looked at the screen when you said you didn't know who Megan Thee Stallion was & never heard W.A.P. 😂😅 I liked this episode. It's what I was expecting in terms of the structure I was expecting. Episodic story of the wee that pushes the main narrative. We now know someone is after She Hulk's blood. Makes me wonder if it's the Power Broker coming back into play. Thanks for the reaction
Feels rushed but when you only have 9 episodes that are around 30 minutes each, you have to squeeze a lot in there. Great to see Wong. Wrecking Crew work for the Leader? Thinks CGI is fine.
I wonder with Jen not having an "Other Guy" if they tried to sneak up and stab her with the needle right away, could she transform without conscious thought like the Hulk would? Or does she have to activate it, like when they grabbed her and it took her a moment?
This show is hilarious-- jokes are working for me and loving the end credit scenes!! Loving this series and yeah a tiny issue with the timeline as u referenced.
The way I look at it: The underground fights is yakuza/mob ... people know it's dangerous to share stuff like that. But when reports start to surface that Abomination was up for parole, and the "famous" She-Hulk would be his lawyer, someone figured they could sell that footage for a price worth the risk. Nothing in the show addressed it, but it makes more sense than "just bad timing" or messed-up timeline.
I really hope that the "Boss" of the Wrecking Crew at the end turns out to be The Leader himself (Samuel Sterns) and the return of Timothy Blake Nelson to the MCU.
I liked this episode it was funny and it didn't take itself too seriously. When I watched it, I was in the mood for something like this, so I sat down and laughed my ass off. 😂
What some shows do is to reduce the amount of CGI that is needed, so they are able to produce decent work with the money and time allocated for it. They could have established that Jennifer didn't have to be She-Hulk while in the office and only had to transform while in court. It was smart to have the superhero prison force her to be in her regular human form. I think that COVID made this work hard for VFX artists. They had to forego state-of-the-art computers from their jobs and use the computers that they had at home
The footage of the Kumite was taken by the cameras on-site. Remember when Shang-Chi arrived they were told that the fight club had a "million-dollar-per-year" streaming revenue.
My very crazy theory - Dennis himself is a shapeshifter/Skrull, and basically acting the way he THINKS an alpha male acts. And re-watching this, that weird handshake scene also makes me wonder that as well. Obviously there are sleazy/deluded guys like that in real life, but they usually aren't that over the top (at least not out loud). But I'm wondering if the silly shapeshifter case here is a way to introduce the concept which will become more important. Also, so far you're one of the first reactors I've seen that noticed that scene in the end credits with Emil - I've paused it and some of the women look happy so I'm not sure if the crying girl is overcome with emotion or actually sad and the implication is that he's leaving. He's on the prison bus so maybe that's just how he gets home and presumably they have their own transportation.
Shang Chi takes place before She Hulk. It is very likely that there was more than one fight between Wong and Abomination. Of two, one. Or there was more than one fight and the last one was filmed and leaked. Or there was only one and they left it to leak when it was revealed that Jen was going to be Emil's lawyer.
As far as who the boss could be I'm thinking it could be Samuel Sterns "The Leader" Also looking at King Pin and The Power Broker but, those are very very low in guess for me
Dennis is extremely over the top... but to be fair so is his character in the comic he was meant to be an encapsulation of all the stuff women have to deal with crammed into one douchey being and not much else which is why he comes across as hollow otherwise, unfortunately... :(
@@JADTO I meant in the comic that was what he was designed to be, there's definitely worse out there, though we haven't been shown everything he's done in the years they've worked together obviously. Also, they're probably constrained by the fact that this version takes place in modern day where they're already past the line of where he could easily be fired for HR violations. They have to kind of ignore that fact for the character to happen obviously. :)

I liked this episode, it was fun and best of the 3 so far, for me, as this is what the show is billed to be, the first two seemed to be just the introduction to the character and her situation. Also, I can look past iffy CGI and focus on the story, considering the format, a half hour comedy lawyer show is just some fun and we'll likely see a standalone main story each episode with perhaps a small part of an underlying story arch culminating in the final episode.
Damn Robert, you don't know who Megan thee Stallion is?! Vanessa, school him!!! LOL I had a lot of fun watching this episode, though. It's the highlight of my week.
What a fun episode. At this point, I don't understand the hate for this show. The haters can kiss my ass. First off, this is now the comedic law show I was expecting. It was weird, it was insane and it was ridiculously entertaining. The B-side of the episode with the Asgardian Elf pretending to be Megan Thee Stallion was just the right amount of zaniness, while the A-side with Abomination was intriguing. Great to see Wong back (I think he's a fugitive), as well as meeting Emil's soulmates. Call me crazy, but I think Emil might be a polygamist! Also, the arrival of the MCU Wrecking Crew. Where did they get the entail on Asgardian weaponry, and, most importantly, who's their boss? My money's on Kingpin. Also, LOVE the fact that this show just trolled the trolls with that scene. Goddamn beautiful. Now, I need to address the elephants in the room: the Shang-Chi answer and the post-credit scene. Regarding Wong explaining that Shang-Chi connection, I know people who grew up with the Edward Norton Incredible Hulk movie are rightfully angry. But, as someone who understands the storytelling logic that we don't know is coming yet from the MCU, I'm okay with what is going on with Abomination. Plus, I think he's pulling a long con. Now, about that post-credit scene: it is honestly one of the greatest MCU post-credit scenes I've ever seen. Given the tone of the show and its lead character, it absolutely hit the nail on the head for what it's supposed to be. She-Hulk twerking is *chef's kiss* . Overall, I don't care what anybody says. This show is so much fun, and I can't wait for next week. #GoSupportSheHulk #GoStreamSheHulk
the device to keep emil as emil does not make sense. Bruce said he could not make another device for Jen in the first episode so who is making the dampener for emil to not be abomination. it is a plot hole..The 30 minutes per episode is another issue. could be 6 nearly 1 hour episodes if they wanted . feels rush.
Also it just doesn't seem to line up right the way they cut that. We jump straight from her saying that Dennis's remark gave her an idea to... she shows up to hear the parole board's decision and they, with no apparent prompting from her as far as we see, include mention of requiring a power dampener. As far as we know, the last time she saw any of them was at the hearing earlier. (Or the previous day?) Plus, even if she did meet with them at some point in between the hearing and the verdict (I'd guess that that would be a bad thing as far as legal procedure is concerned though) to suggest that such a thing could be possible, would their ruling really mandate the use of some piece of new tech that might not actually exist and as far as they know hasn't been proven effective yet? This would have to be something that had already been developed, that was already well known to be capable of doing what's expected of it. Whatever device they're requiring would have to be something that they already knew about and would have already been considering as a term of the parole.
Josh Segarra keeps distracting me when he's on screen. I forget I'm watching She-Hulk and just go into my own world 😁 Also, it's clearly General Ross after her blood. I bet he's not as clean as he likes to make out (RIP to the actor) and that's where Red Hulk ends up happening.
I liked the episode but I think it was very slow paced and probably the weaker of the three, there is a plot thickens aspect but the B plot was a bit too silly - idk I don't really care for Dennis at all - I didn't really know who Megan Thee Stallion was so that stuff was lost on me bit weird that Wong understands the concept of LinkedIn but not the concept of Law
Most law office cultures wouldn't allow Dennis to be that obnoxious at work, in front of his boss no less, unless it was a dude bro culture law office, or he is a partner or a founding partner or the son of one, none of which are true for the law office where She-Hulk practices. So that's one reason why his character seems over the top and poorly written. This show needed to hire male and female lawyers as consultants to get the law scenes to have more depth and more scope; they're on the poorly written side.
The episode it was fun to watch had some nice funny moments as well. Love the last Wong scene when he decided to bug out and the credit scene She-Hulk was on point. Wonder if that was actually Tatiana doing the moves if so was impressive. The only thing I was disappointed in was the Wrecking Crew debute. I can deal with them not looking powered up body wise because maybe this is them before they were fully powered and not just using Asgarding item from a construction worker. What bothered me is for no good reason they switch the black guy and the white guy's codename and weapons in the group. Thunderball is suppose to be the smart black guy in the group and the Bulldozer is the biggest bodied one that is the dumbest in the group. I think the black guy in the group with the construction helmet was suppose to be Bulldozer while the guy with the ski mask and ball chain was Thunderball. Well I guess it's true what they say "be careful what you wish for". Finally got the Wrecking Crew just not what I was hoping for. Maybe the same thing in Spider-Man Homecoming will happen when the real Shocker got the gear after the current guy got killed. So maybe that was not the official Thunderball and he will die and the black guy will take up the mantle becoming the real Thunderball and a new guy will become Bulldozer. Hopefully they will get body enhanced like in the comic also. Anyway enjoyed your reaction hope you two have a great day. 👍👍✌
I like that twerking part but of course, these comic book nerds are not going to like that because they ain't used to seeing nothing like this, so they are probably going to call it woke. Lmao
Denis is not over the top. I have known more than one or two Denis' in my time. hell, just look up Jordan Peterson or Rollo Tomassi as total dirt bags.
Abysmal show .. MCU is dead , like Pixar and SW .. Great reviews for everything they pump out . Disney are not even trying anymore . We need more independent comics shows like Sandman .. this Costume hero genre , is now fast n furious level of terrible . The twerking , might as well had a character in black face . Disney is terrible , She-hulk should be a badass ( like The ladies in Ring of Power , or House of Dragon ) . She is just ass .

Missed opportunity:
Right after she said “remember who’s show this actually is…”- the Subtitle should have read “Attorney with WONG!!!” 🤣
How is that lawyer clown still working there?
Josh Segarra keeps distracting me when he's on screen. I forget I'm watching She-Hulk and just go into my own world 😁
Also, it's clearly General Ross after her blood. I bet he's not as clean as he likes to make out (RIP to the actor) and that's where Red Hulk ends up happening.
it's not general ross. i think he's dead.
I feel like I've committed already... . This is decent enough.
I liked the episode but I think it was very slow paced and probably the weaker of the three, there is a plot thickens aspect but the B plot was a bit too silly - idk I don't really care for Dennis at all - I didn't really know who Megan Thee Stallion was so that stuff was lost on me
bit weird that Wong understands the concept of LinkedIn but not the concept of Law
Oh shit the wrecking crew.
I don't see it. That thing that's right in front of my eyes.
You probably would've like this episode more if you knew who Megan Thee Stallion was.
Megan Thee Stallion didn’t even make WAP, honey. That was Cardi B. 🤦♂️
Yes I know!! But she was featured in it and it was such a big hit that l thought maybe Robert would know her from there. - Vanessa .
@@LatetotheParty Okay. Yeah. That makes sense, tbh. 😂
Haha reaction video first time watching WAP! Hehe
Loads of little details like that "mafia hit gone wrong".
Fun episode, but if I never hear a Megan thee Stallion song again, it will still be too soon. Terrible!
Who’s the boss? Not the big guy bc he’s on NY. How about Pride?
Most law office cultures wouldn't allow Dennis to be that obnoxious at work, in front of his boss no less, unless it was a dude bro culture law office, or he is a partner or a founding partner or the son of one, none of which are true for the law office where She-Hulk practices. So that's one reason why his character seems over the top and poorly written. This show needed to hire male and female lawyers as consultants to get the law scenes to have more depth and more scope; they're on the poorly written side.
comments sections have incels everywhere.
I thought Megan the stallion was a made up name
Why is Vanessa so beautiful❤
I think Megan Thee Stallion got paid most of the CGI budget to be in the episode.
Megan thee stallion😮💨😮💨
I like that twerking part but of course, these comic book nerds are not going to like that because they ain't used to seeing nothing like this, so they are probably going to call it woke. Lmao
There was something wierd about the animation of her pants suit, the legs seemed of as hell.
Funny how RUclips channel owner's can't seem too see parodies of themselves and how many are out of touch outside of*tar*ars....
I rate it a Meh+.
The misogynist guy is actually pretty acurrate after the very recent and big activision blizzard lawsuit and accusations.
12:18 I have never heard such horrible music. How it just annoys hard.
Denis is not over the top. I have known more than one or two Denis' in my time. hell, just look up Jordan Peterson or Rollo Tomassi as total dirt bags.
Who hurt you🤷🏾♂️
And soo the fall of the MCU begins wtf was that post credit scene 👨🏽🦯
Gonna cry because it wasn't men twerking?
Oh look another misogynist who doesn't know fun
Overreaction to the max !WTF ?LMAO !🤣
Does this dude live in a bubble lol
Abysmal show ..
MCU is dead , like Pixar and SW .. Great reviews for everything they pump out .
Disney are not even trying anymore .
We need more independent comics shows like Sandman .. this Costume hero genre , is now fast n furious level of terrible .
The twerking , might as well had a character in black face .
Disney is terrible , She-hulk should be a badass ( like The ladies in Ring of Power , or House of Dragon ) . She is just ass .
This show is so bad it made me cancel Disney plus! Great job!
Buh byeeeee.
Sad, very sad
Anyway...
Mommy wouldn't let you use her credit card anymore so your covering?
Yet you're watching a reaction to the show and being a big crybaby
I tried with this show but they’re throwing this feminist shit down ur throat…..it’s a bummer….MAN BAD!!! Tatiana Maslany is so much better than this frickin material she was amazing in Orphan Black
Awww poor pathetic misogynist crybaby
What feminist crap? That there is one guy who is chauvinistic and act like he is gift to women? Well wake up those guys exist. maybe no over the top but still exist. And also there was a WOMAN(unless you dont count elves as womens if so shame on you) was definitelly scaming people and guy who is creep to womens wins case and is not punished and is still creep. So where is that supossed feminist crap?
@@laigron7884 this whole show is woke and I’m allowed to have my opinion wait does it make me sexist? I didn’t even read ur whole comment lol come on with a star like Tatiana Maslany this show should be fucking amazing and it’s just not
@@kdizzle901 Iam not saing you are not allowed to have you own opinion. But point is that you did argument it in which case it is entirely subjective and therefore could be entirely wrong. In the rest of mycomment which you did not read i did give you some examples and arguments againts its being feminist. But so far you didnot. Therefore i am not oblidged to acknowledge you opinion.
