Stan Lee did have a cameo in this one hes the guy driving by at the military yelling "hey man make love not war" when Steve And Tony get the tesseract at the military bass they de-aged him using CGI this was his last cameo
I think the bittersweetest moment for me is Scott finding his daughter. He worked so hard to stay out of prison so he wouldn't miss her growing up, only to miss it anyway.
Mine is having Nebula's first real "win" being at paper football. Stark is so genuine and has no clue what it means to her and she's kind of just stunned to be told "you won't fair and square."
I was in the theater watching Avengers Endgame, everyone and I mean EVERYONE started cheering when Cap caught Mjolnir after it hit Thanos in the back, when the portals began to open and when Cap finally said the words "Avengers, assemble". And there was definitely a collective tear shed when both Natasha and Tony passed away, even though they did it heroically. Natasha died to allow Hawkeye to collect the Soul Stone, and Tony died after snapping out Thanos and his army in order to give his daughter Morgan and everyone else a chance to live in a beautiful world with as minimal an amount of conflict as possible. Still two of the saddest deaths in the MCU, but they for they were for a heroic purpose.
Steve to Tony in the first Avengers movie : "The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you". And then, Tony in Endgame... What a journey. What a sacrifice. We love him 3 000. And Natasha too. The Infinity Saga was the MCU at its best. It was incredible.
I'm glad you guys agreed that Thor saying he went for the head was sad. People often laugh at that line but it's meant to be sad: he finally kills Thanos, but it's too late to make any difference.
3:25 If our Hostess is already crying, she's gonna have a rough go of this one. 😢😎🍿 9:54 One of the unfortunate things about the time jump is that they had to re-cast Cassie Lang. I'm not a big fan of most child actors, but Abby Ryder Fortson was friggin' hilarious. 41:57 Did no one recognize Stan Lee there? 46:20 Bring on The Pain! There's a comedy sketch by I think it was Warp Zone, where it shows Steve having to live his life with Peggy without affecting the timeline...so all the things he could stop but has to have happen, including meeting the child niece and having to know theres a frozen version of him that has to stay on ice...as well as real life events like Vietnam.
So you guys almost reached the end of The Infinity Saga and phase 3 with Spider-Man Far From Home. Now you're entering phase 4 a.k.a. The Multiverse Saga. Here's the phase 4 release order: WandaVision (9 episodes), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (6 episodes), Loki season 1 (6 episodes), Black Widow (movie), What If...? (9 episodes), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (movie), Eternals (movie), Hawkeye (6 episodes), Spider-Man: No Way Home (movie), Moon Knight (6 episodes), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (movie), Ms. Marvel (6 episodes), Thor: Love and Thunder (movie), I Am Groot season 1 (5 shorts), She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (9 episodes), Werewolf by Night (TV special), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (movie), The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (TV Special). These are the phase 4 projects...in real time we're in the middle of phase 5 but when the time comes I will write down the list for phase 5 as well :)
About Cap lifting Thors hammer... the directors have gone on record saying that he couldn't lift the hammer in age of ultron was because he still hid the secret of knowing who killed Tony's parents. Once, he is un-burdered of that secret, from that point on he is truly worthy!
My favorite thing about this movie is how it bookends a scene from the original Avengers film. In that one, Tony tells Cap the only thing special about him came out of a bottle, and Cap tells Tony he couldn't make the sacrifice play. Here, Cap was worthy to wield the hammer, and Tony made the sacrifice.
Stan Lee is in this one as is his late wife Joan. They de-aged them to look as their 1970's younger selves when Steve and Tony go back to 1970. They are in the very first scene driving in the car as hippies. Stan is the one who literally looks into the camera at us, yelling his line. The way this content is edited though with a long awkward pause holding on Nick's face staring blankly forward at us seems to be clearly emphasizing that it's not registering who Stan is and was done like this because future Nick in Post found out about Stan's cameo during editing. Am I right? Did I nail it? Where's my cookie?
Quynh you sweet sweet girl 😭😭 this is why i love your guys’ reaction because of her empathy to the characters Seeing this is in theaters was such an experience
This the movie where Tony and Steve rogers prove each other wrong , tony sacrifices himself for greater good and cap showed he is more worthy than his superpowers by lifting thor's hammer.( the reason he can lift thor's hammer now because he told the truth to tony about his parents death )
People seem to think that Steve could always wield Mjolnir, but I agree with you here. He wasn't truly worthy until he broke away from government control and became his own man.
Love this reaction! Quick question: do you plan on watching tv series for Loki, Ms. Marvel or Wandavision? I’m asking because if you plan on watching Quantumania, Multiverse of Madness, The Marvels, etc, those movies reference and build upon those shows. Even the Hawkeye show is related to Black Widow movie.
I was so heartbroken after watching the endgame. Natasha and Tony's de@th and Steve leaving broke me. Not seeing them three again made me so sad. But the announcement of doomsday took some sadness away.
Here We Go!!!! The brilliant conclusion to a saga spanning over a decade and nearly two dozen films. This is an absolute Classic and I'm expecting it to hit Quỳnh in all the feels. Y'all just improved this Sunday a whole bunch. Cheers and Salutations from Canada. 🥃☮❤ Avengers......
Like the last hour of this is pure fanservice. People were screaming in the theater. 11 years of buildup. Unfortunately, a lot of people were robbed forever of the impact of Tony dying - the theater I went to, some piece of trash kids ran around outside yelling "Tony Stark dies!" while people stood in line for an hour.
Cap being worthy of Thor's hammer goes back to party at beginning of Age of Ultron. Everyone is trying to lift it but cap is the only one who makes it move slightly, whole Thor looks very worried. Cap could have lifted it then but didn't want to embarrass Thor, proving he is indeed worthy.
My theory is that he was on a journey at that point, so he could budge it, but wasn't truly worthy until he broke away from the government strings holding him back and became his own man.
A lot of people don't like this movie that much because the time travel thing is honestly laughably bad. What I like about this movie however is that it has call backs to many moments from the past movies. During Civil War, Hawk Eye and Black Panther met and Hawk Eye introduced himself to which Black Panther said; "I don't care". In this movie he calls Clint by name. Now he cares. Spiderman using instant kill is obviously a call back to the other movie where he activated it by mistake. I could go on and on. But the ultimate call back and way of wrapping it all up is Tony's sacrifice at the end. During the first avengers movie, Rogers said that Tony isn't the team player type. That he wouldn't be the one to lay down on the wire and let his team crawl over. At the time that was probably true, but here we are now and Tony was the one to lay down his life and save everyone.
I will admit I love superhero movies but I still don’t find it fair that someone good always dies in these movies. It’s not fair! Also, the final fight in this one is so epic, I loved it!
It is a good scene, but Marvel/Disney has done their homework. Kneeling is not seen as a sign of respect in many cultures around the world and doing that could be seen as sending a very confusing message. Edit: To quote Black Panther … ”We don’t do that here”
Thanos is Tony if Tony lost everything he loved. You're right, they're foils. === You'll understand the time travel better in this movie when you watch the Loki TV show.

Might as well say it again, but make sure to watch the OG Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies and the 2 Amazing Spider-Man movies before watching No Way Home. It's only 4 more movies until it's here.
The way I see it. Dude decides to impulsively go to space with a wizard and a kid to fight Thanos. Ends up losing and blames his friend for not being there with him... in space... where no one knew where he was. makes sense
I agree that Tony was irrational. But I think his point was that if the Avengers were still together when Thanos first attacked Earth then they wouldn't have ended up with him and Peter alone on the ship with no one else.
I love Infinity War so much more, but Endgame just destroys me - I did not want it to end as I wanted more time with all these characters- just a great time back then
I like how Tony was selfish and narcissistic did the ultimate sacrifice to safe everybody. Oppositely Steve, who was always ready to sacrifice himself did the selfish thing and stay with his love in the past.
